Loved Palazzo Caruso! The suite was fantastic and the manager John and his charming wife could not have been more helpful. The location is superb. A few minutes walk to the top of the Spanish Steps or to the Trevi Fountain and easy walking distance to many of the highlights of Rome as well as wonderful restaurants. An absolute bonus was access to the rooftop terrace in the evenings.
Stayed at this hotel 2x recently. Had 2 different rooms, both rooms were comfortable but the 1st was better with a beautiful painted ceiling which seems original to the building. I had very good breakfast with lots of choice of hot food, pastries, coffees, juices, cakes etc.
Palazzo Caruso is the perfect base for a stay in Rome. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated to enhance the character of the property, with modern bathrooms and homely touches. We were so well looked after by the kind and helpful staff who ensured we had everything we needed and were great with our teenage boys. Delicious breakfasts on the roof terrace, while admiring the view were a great start to our days of sightseeing.
