What a wonderful stay! The host Mathia was very attentive and full of information about restaurants, cafes, shops and bakeries in the area around the apartment. The apartment was restored to a high specification and had everything you needed — multiple languages on satellite TV, bottle of wine in fridge, sachets of olive oil, salt and balsamic vinegar, free snacks and excellent Wi-Fi. The private parking is nearby and super secure. Even though this is an apartment it was serviced every day. The apartment is in a great location just on the edge of the old city and close to the stone bridge. This is honestly the best accommodation we have found in Europe for this price.

We had a fantastic time at Il Vicolo. We stayed for four days in February half term. We loved the way the first floor apartment we stayed in had been constructed, making the most of the old and the new with a very stylish and well equipped kitchen. Each day Mathia's team came in and cleaned the apartment for us and made our beds. The apartment is well located in a quiet area and just a stone's throw from the centre of Verona. There is a very good supermarket and an excellent fruit and vegetable store about five minutes walk away. There are lots of little shops in fact in this part of Verona, specialist pasta makers, a wonderful cheese shop and some great bars and local restaurants. Mathia was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I left my necklace behind by mistake and Mathia has posted it back to me and he paid the postage. This is great service! We thoroughly recommend Il Vicolo.

A perfect place run by Mathia and his amazing sweet family that will help and guide you in every little thing that you'll need! The apartments are really comfortable, fully furnished, beautifully designed and really clean The location is great, in a quite little alley just a few minutes walk from the river and the city center We had an amazing time!

Parking out front. Clean, simple, at home. Competitive prices, even in the high season. Friendly people. Have a good rest. We met other sympathetic tourists at breakfast the next morning, they came for the show at the Arena. A short walk from the old town.
