Farm Stay

An incredible getaway location. You'd need a car as the walk to the nearest supermarket takes a little over an hour and a half downhill. Walking back up in 35 degree heat was not fun! Monica is a wonderful host. She provided everything from details on local transport to a wide selection of wines and teas. The breakfast is superb offering a long table of various foods and delicious homemade tarts. The room was spotless and elegant with plenty of space. Bedding and towels are changed every second day. There are horses to ride and bikes to cycle around the hills. In the evening you can drive to Verona and go to the Arena for the opera. When you return it's nice to sit outside and relax with the sound of the wildlife for a few moments before heading to bed. Finally, the most amazing aspect of your stay will be the views from the patio and along the road. I would love to return.

I spent an hour riding very pleasant and I think I will be back soon. The owners are very nice and helpful.

The Place is very nice but I think it's best to come when it's not cold. The rooms are heated mainly with the air conditioner. Bed quite comfortable (has the springs) Quiet room. Only breakfast Is served abundant who has many intolerances should feel Monica and agree with her. If I want to find one thing that I liked little is the shower the water is lukewarm/slightly warm.

Beautiful place especially the friendliness of Sig Monica. A place where you can relax and be in company.

We found Agriturismo Altobello to be an outstanding place to stay while visiting in Verona This B&B is located just outside of the city but still just minutes away from downtown Verona. The accommodations, consisting of a spacious bedroom and attached private bath are very clean, modern and comfortable with a beautiful picturesque view. Breakfast each morning was a buffet consisting of everything imaginable from eggs, meats, cheeses, cakes, fruits, breads, and much more served in a spacious dinning area. The hostess, Monica, is a very charming, well informed and friendly lady. She has all sorts of information to share with guests as to what they might like to see and do all around Verona and the surrounding area. We were very impressed and look forward to coming back to Altobello again next time we visit the area. Overall, the nicest B&B we’ve ever stayed in.

The ladies of the house are wonderful hosts. Extraordinary breakfast with homemade pastery, vegetables… Nice big room at the hill in the country at only few km from Verona. Kitchen available! The horses nearby makes it all.

We stayed with monica over a long weekend. She and the agriturismo were a wonderful getaway in verona — — close enough to the city but isolated enough to feel in the countryside. You definitely need a car to get around but otherwise all was as expected. Monica was also a fantastic host — — very helpful with everything.

Great Reception. Mrs. Monica very kind gave us A lot of information and… Prepare Super breakfasts! Comfortable Rooms for families too. Everything new and very neat and clean. Great!

We had a great time. A family atmosphere given by the courtesy and kindness of the owner and the possibility to use the kitchen at any time.
Rooms very clean and Nice. Very good breakfast and all based on genuine homemade stuff. Both sweet and savory.
Great value for money.
Even our dogs found themselves very well.
Remains a bit out of the Centre but well worth it.

In nature on the hills at 20 minutes from Verona. Friendly owner, clean and breakfast was typical.
