The best part of Venice because there is less congestion of tourists and is where the locals live. The hotel apartment is OK and it is clean. It's not fancy but for the time you spend there, it's more than fine. What makes the difference is the great service and kindness they have. We got a lot of advice and where you could go to eat, where locals do it. What is unsurpassed are the breakfasts are the garden they have and their wonderful croissaints. In Venice, a garden, is like gold powder! Recommended 100%

In an effort to hide our bad experience, my review was deleted, for just not to go throughout the whole length of negatives of this place, lets just say is not worth the money.

Fabulous rooms. Staff needs to be more hospitable. But overall a good place. Nice cats. :)

We had the small room edge of canal (economical). Very suitable, a large bathroom, overheated rooms (January) an extra breakfast. A big plus, this small hotel is near the Rialto, the center of Life of the Venetians and allowed us to discover Venice from a different angle. The Grand Canal has 1minute from the hotel, as well as the Vaporettos Quay.

One of the worst hotels (if you can call it that) never frequented…

A convenient place to travel around Venice. Grand Canal, railway station, shops nearby. The service staff is very friendly and tidy. The rooms are spacious and clean. The windows open directly to the canal. In the backyard There is a nice summer garden where you can have a nice sit. Breakfast is offered. The Google map incorrectly marked the entrance to "Casa del Melograno" (see photo, red marker).

I would put 0 star if it was possible! This is the worst apartment ever. We booked in the hotel but they sent us to the "annex", which is nothing compared to what is shown in the pictures. We were in a very hot day, and the air conditioner did not work. They could not even provide a fan, their proposal was to open the window, which was of course not what we paid for. The unfriendly staff is not in the reception after 8pm, which makes very complicated to resolve issues. Stay away!

Ok place — no fridge in the room and personnel is kinda sarcastic and unfriendly. Did not allow us to heat our food in the micro and after they told us we could use the kitchen fridge for our drinks said we couldn't get them on our own but had to ask every time. Good spot!

Staff were friendly, they accommodated our 23h30 arrival, breakfast was also nice with good coffee.

The air conditioner does not work well, we spent heat in the room. The breakfast and the attention of the girls who serve it is excellent. The gentleman at the front desk is a little hostile.

Very close to the Santa Lucia train station and the public transport. The rooms are large, clean, and nice. Definitely a good choice.

Hotel of 4 or 5 rooms very cosy, small rooms but with a good bathroom inside, with garden, near the station with canal to the door and quiet area but to two streets of one of the main ones. The right breakfast.

We had a bad experience. We were given a ground floor room although we were not told in advance that the room would be on the ground floor. It was a very noisy room. Moreover, the room itself was not clean and there were ants both in the room as well as in the area where breakfast was served. I would definitely not recommend this hotel since it was very expensive for the services we were offered.

Very disappointing, dark room with a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom.

Unprofessional, rude staff, left us stranded. The credit card we gave the hotel was mistakenly declined and instead of trying again, or contacting us, they cancelled our reservation. We were informed over the hotels front door intercom that our room was given away and they had no availability. The host would not even let us in the front door let alone help us to find another room elsewhere. Direct quote from front desk "why should I have called, it's not my problem. " Because of our limited phone connectivity we were almost stranded late in day but, luckily, we were helped by the lovely staff at the neighbouring hotel Ca San Marcuola, who went well out of her way to assist us even though they were also booked up. In the end, we didn't get to stay at Casa Del Melograno so cannot speak to their rooms, but their customer service is nonexistent. I would not recommend staying somewhere so rude and with so little regard for their customers and people in general.

I was on 4 to 6 June, my travel agent made the payment, via the internet, to give the room a young man wanted us to charge all over again and to make them understand this (don't speak Spanish, but also make no effort to understand, I gave the document written in English), well we did a drama and abuse, check your systems confirmed the payment, but charged us again the tax of stay. Amen to that I confirm the previous reviews, the rooms are not clean, we found the bed sheets a ticket of x; have a bad temper and eat a breakfast that serve you grudgingly is not nice; the bed is very small, the Wi-Fi is very bad, the garden is cute but have cats and the games of children are thrown and dirty.
