Everything was perfect, very kind staff. Structure very accurate even in detail. Spectacular location, 1 minute from Piazza San Marco and 5 minutes to Rialto. Super breakfast with cozy waiter.

3 nights and the hotel is in an excellent location, near the main sights of Rialto bridge, st marks Square and the grand canal. The room could have had a better view but not really an issue as we were out all day. Delightful little seating area right on the edge of a canal watching the boats drift by. Bed was so comfortable for me and my now fiance (I proposed during our stay) and the breakfast was decent but nothing special. Lots of little cracks in the walls and marble structure, it was quite charming. Overall if you're here for a short stay I would definitely recommend as you can get to all the great sights within 5 minutes walking.

Great location, close to Saint Mark's Square. Air conditioner barely worked. Big crack on one wall if my room. Breakfast had a good selection but the eggs were cold. Very friendly staff.

My room was quite neglected and when I arrived it wasn't spotless, I put a big bag over the closet and there were 5 cm of dust, so maybe never cleaned, anyway in the room there was everything you needed. The girl dedicated to cleaning my plan was kind and careful in making up for everything that was not right. The staff however was professional and attentive to my needs, especially, for breakfast for my lactose intolerance.

Best location you can get in Venice. Hotel was ok, needs updating. However, cant complain when your 2 min walk from st Mark's square. Would stay again.

While it's a bit of a whirlwind how I ended up staying in this room. Due to some mistake I was forced to stay in a separate room from my parents. While I appreciate the hotel working with us to get us a room at a very reasonable price, the old adage of "you get when you pay for" is true. My room had no view of the outside, my view was a service pipe or exhaust. This enclosed space offered no breeze when the window was open and that is the main reason for my score. The hotel's air conditioning was broken, every room had no AC but a room like the one I was in was particularly worse. Staying there felt like a sauna and getting a good night sleep was hard. I did spend a considerable amount of time outside, but even with that I was literally melting at night. I'd come back if I gotta better room and the AC was working. It's a nice place, but my stay was marred by the conditions.

This hotel is perfect for what you want close to st Marco square so you have a pin point as you need one. Rooms are larger than any room I have had very old furniture but would have to be to match venice would highly recommend.

Needs massive repairs, no air conditioning still after 10 days & breakfast is average. It should be rated as 2.5star not 4.5star. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Absolutely cracking location barely two minutes walk off St Marks Square even if you get lost! Although I've read reviews complaining about small bedrooms, I stayed in a standard bedroom which was comfortable & spacious with Venetian style high ceilings & cornicing. You can travel direct to & from the hotel by gondola & there is a wine bar with Venetian nibbles. Although the hotel has obviously undergone some refurbishment or renovation, there remains an air of faded grandeur which given its location I found attractive. Staff helpful & friendly.

Our recent stay at the Hotel all ' Angelo did not have a good start with a dispute with the receptionist in service upon our arrival. However all the other staf were very pleasant. The hotel was centrally located and of a good standard although the hotel is a bit tired and lacking in decorations.
The facilities are adequate but as everywhere in Venice overpriced.

We can not say enough positive things about our stay here. I would highly recommend this flat. The host was above and beyond gracious and helpful. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

This was a lovely hotel very close to St Mark's Square. If you want a modern style hotel then this one is not for you but for my partner and myself, the hotel had character and was part of the great experience of Venice itself. The room was spacious and clean and we had free Wi-Fi. We found the staff to be courteous and very helpful with advice about Venice and places to visit.

Old Hotel in furnishings and neglected, ruined furniture, dirty tapestries as well as carpeting. Rough Breakfast. Double bed actually made up of two singles joined together. No air conditioning and no mosquitoes to end up in the room. Very friendly staff. Good location.

A friend and I decided to take an overnight trip to Venice and got off at San Marco, walked around to see the site, then looked up a hotel near us. The All Angelo rooms were perfect for what we needed. Two rooms with a single bed, gave us an awesome bathroom, almost as large as the room for an awesome price! General location was awesome and even another friend joined us later and had a taxi drop her off at the water door! Next time I will specifically ask for a room with an external view, I could see the office and an internal square 20x20. ;) Great customer service and friendly staff! Thanks again!

We had a very nice stay at the hotel, it is very well located and the breakfast is varied and delicious. Very friendly staff and they let me keep our bags at reception after checkout. I suggest they give tourist maps to the guests.

The hotel is located in a nice area in San Marco, it’s a 2 minute walk from the San Marco station, close to the main shopping outlets and a 6 minute walk to the main canals. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and approachable. They were also knowledgeable and helpful. Our room overlooked narrow streets of Venice which was very cool, the interior of the room was old but it was clean which compensated for the old furniture. Their breakfast didn’t have a variety of options but none the less it was good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel All’Angelo.

The hotel is located very close to Piazza San Marco so it is very easy to find and near to the tourist attractions. I stayed for a total from Sunday to Wednesday in March 20118. The breakfast was included and it comprised of 3 types of juices, a coffee machine, cereal, bread, ham and cheese and omelettes. On our first evening, it was high tide in Venice so we had to eat at the bar which was called "HK Wine Bar" as we could not leave the hotel. The hotel was clean, room was spacious enough and our room had some big Venetian windows which had fantastic views of the canals. If you are looking for a nice hotel which is surrounded by restaurants and is easy to find then I recommend staying at this hotel. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Venice.

The All'Angelo is well located, a stones throw from St Mark's square. Staff are pleasant enough (this is Italy). Our room (102) was comfortable and clean. Good shower (fixed head) and bathroom facilities. Not a bad size room with high ceiling. Quiet for a good nights sleep in the really comfortable bed. Breakfast was adequate, typical continental, all very sweet plus ham cheese and salami, coffee was awful. Overall it was fine for our four night stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel All'Angelo. The staff were very courteous and helpful and helped set the tone of our stay. The breakfasts were of a good quality and plentiful, I especially like the 'yoghurt' cake! Location is superb and surrounded by a good selection of restaurants and shops and a couple of minutes walk away from Piazza San Marco. We would definitely return.

The hotel is very well located and the staff is very nice! Big Flat breakfast starts at 7:30 we had the early flight so we left at 6:30 even though taking in advance there was no possibility of having a cafe or a bun I find it a pity for a four star hotel where we had paid the little D Éjeuner of course…

Room was very spacious. The bathroom had mould and it was two single beds pushed together to make a double. The breakfast was average but not much option. The staff were lovely and friendly greeted us every time they saw us. Overall we enjoyed are stay just a few things could have made it that little bit better.

Breakfast from Wednesday 7 February paid for two people not able to have breakfast because of the early departure we were given some bags of rubbish breakfast!

Old-fashioned in the structure and furnishings, breakfast insufficient and expensive.

Have been guests several times. Come to Dealkonditionen like again. Full enough for Venedigbesucher who are traveling all day and want to stroll over the empty Piazza San Marco late at night.

Our stay at this hotel was OK. However we had a water infiltration in the bathroom. In addition, the heating for towels, also in the bathroom, leaked and did not heat. There was rust on it. The bedding was good we slept well and the breakfast was full and OK.
Small disappointment about the lack of information of the reception on the events of the city during our visit.

We arrived on Monday via taxi, and once checked in, we were taken to our room, which wasn't modern, furniture was a bit old, and there were a few cracks around the place. We absolutely LOVED it! If you want perfect corners, and modern, then Venice is not for you. But if you like quality and the older style, then you'll love it. Hotel All'angelo is the perfect location for seeing central Venice, but be prepared to get lost. But that makes the experience all the better. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The hotel valuation in general does not correspond to the category of the same, especially the room is the one we stayed (room 401), as it had cracks in the wall, stains and chips in the same, bad smell in the WC, the bed for the third person was a couch.
The hallway that led us to the elevator was with comiers and mattresses resting on the walls.
Breakfast did not have a buffet according to the hotel category.
However the front desk staff showed an excellent disposition.

Breakfast with little variety, the outlets of the room were out of the wall, the room smelled a little bad. Spacious room, attentive staff, and great location.

Very elegant Venetian-style Hotel that, although not very modern, is in good condition. The location is excellent and afford to arrive by taxi to your own jetty is a unique experience.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although I got one in which the noise from the air ducts was mild but steady.
Breakfast is somewhat scarce, though there is everything and they make some excellent homemade cakes.
Other positive data are the free Wi-fi which works very well, and the friendliness of the staff.

I stayed at the Angel Hotel from 1st to 4th December 2017. The location is definitely the most positive side of this hotel to which 4 stars, however, have been assigned, perhaps, generously. But overall we can't complain. Nice staff, breakfast varied and plentiful, albeit of medium quality, rooms perhaps to be revised slightly. Ours had a crack on the wall and the sliding door of the shower often came out of the track. Reported discomfort in reception who immediately provided a clerk who solved the problem. I said that maybe 4 stars are excessive but, taking advantage of the offers that are periodically online, you can book the double even at 60 euros per night. I would say not bad for a hotel "three stars and a half" (this, in my opinion, the most suitable judgement) site 20 seconds from Piazza San. Marco!

Fabulously located for Piazza San Marco. No tea making facility in the room. Reason given was that it presented a hazard, yet offered by other hotels in the area, so not sure why that would be a problem. Room 520 is a premium priced room and has canal views yet the decor is tired and certainly needs freshening up. The previous room I was shown on the second floor was no better. Worst 4-star hotel I stayed in. There was no variation of breakfast however the breakfast room was bright and inviting and clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Not very clean room, dust on shelves. Plinth loose ground, poor maintenance facilities in room breakfast is scarce, is missing vegetable, eg tomato for sandwich.

Great location, very central, on a canal, own pier; Very friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom could be kept a bit cleaner and better in order (missing soap dish/bracket only) ; Carpet not quite as clean; A few TV channels for non-Italian. Speaking guests would be good.
Unfortunately we could not get a place in our own restaurant and have been treated quite rude, too bad! Wine-BAR Super! Good value for the price, nice staff. Breakfast a bit monotonous, no change.

This is our first time to Venice. Hotel in good location plenty of restaurants close by easy walk around the main areas of Venice to see St Mark's square and to get to the rialto bridge. Lanes very narrow and so many people walking u need to be patient.
Hotel is very old and run down. Bed very uncomfortable. It appeared clean. Bathroom wasn't to bad. Nice hot shower at night and in the morning.
Furniture could be updated.
The best part of this hotel is its location. The added bonus is to be able sit foyer and watch the gondola's gently go by.

The hotel location was ideal to so many things to do! Yet out of the busy area to get a quiet feel for this amazing city! We enjoyed the small canal view and the happy hour as well in the wine bar. Thanks for giving us memories we will never forget! Can't wait to return!

The staff at the front desk provide good service and responded our needs quickly. One afternoon, I had vomited (because of "sea sickness" after a day of going around in the boat) in the wash basin and blocked it. The front desk staff had quickly organised the basin to be fixed and cleaned! The breakfast is good and has fresh fruits and juices. The location of the hotel is within a couple of minutes to San Marco, public boats and Gondola rides. I would have given "VERY GOOD" score if it provides tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Overall I had a good stay. The receptionist was extremely nice and gentleman who helped with our suitcases as well. However the paint in the bathroom was peeling and the ac wasn’t the greatest it didn’t help when the room got extremely hot in the middle of the night. The location is great right near San Marco square which was perfect near some restaurants as well as stores.

We just recently stayed for 3 nights, and this hotel was my favorite of all the hotels that I stayed at during my Italy holiday. We had a very large room that overlooked the front of the hotel. This was fine, since the streets in Venice are like no other streets around! Old world charm with clean large rooms. Next time I visit, I will get a canal view room!

We stayed here for 3 nights in August as part of a British Airways holiday package. The first room we were given (207) was very dark, with old and tired fittings and furnishings; indeed it was very unappealing with its view of a brick wall. In fairness, the management swapped us to a room on the fifth floor, which was much brighter. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is in need of a complete refurbishment. Even in our 'improved' room the toilet had come unscrewed from the wall, the door architrave had broken off, and some light bulbs had blown. It would appear there is a lack of attention to maintenance throughout the hotel, and it should never have a 4 star rating in its current state. The top two floors were always untidy with empty trolleys and at least 2 odd mattresses left in the corridors. The buffet breakfast was quite comprehensive each day, and regularly replenished; and the location was excellent for St Marks Square. The landing for boats did give a lovely place to watch the world go by but doubles up as the designated smoking area. Also, although made aware in an email that it was a wedding anniversary weekend, there was no acknowledgement of this. Unlike our daughter and son-in-law, who in a 3 star hotel, were left a complementary bottle of prosecco for no other reason than to welcome them during their 2 night stay! A nice touch. We had a magical time in Venice, but would not be happy to recommend this hotel to friends.

Staff was very nice. Location was great. Accommodations were acceptable. We would stay again. Two things that I would say, though. First, maintenance seems to be very secondary. Examples? Many of the ceilings inside and outside the rooms are stained and in rough condition. The chandelier over the main stairway (which I never actually saw on) is filthy — years of dirt and dust hanging off of it. Finally, for someone staying several days as we did, it would be nice to change up the breakfast a bit. It was identical every day and who thinks powdered eggs are a good idea?

Great location within San Marco for St Mark's Square attractions. Excellent customer service by all staff that I had contact with. Requests made prior and during my stay were acted upon immediately. Staff were very friendly at all times. Accommodation was of an acceptable standard and buffet breakfast was of a good quality. Only negative was that there was only one medium sized lift which resulted in' time wasting' during peak periods. Overall I would recommend this hotel when visiting Venice.

A few steps from St. Mark's Square and a bridge from the charming Castello district, this hotel is surprisingly quiet and serene. There is a somewhat obsolete atmosphere of old palace with its lounges, its grand staircase, its marble bathrooms, its high ceilings and its spacious and refined rooms with minibar, free Wi-Fi and television. Cleanliness and service attentive, friendly and thoughtful. A place left a little in its juice but quite in harmony with the city. Access on the canal in the back with small terrace for a romantic arrival or simply to sip a last glass of wine while contemplating the last gondolas of the evening and the reflection of the stars. The breakfast buffet is copiously served, well varied and regularly replenished: fresh fruit salad, orange juice, coffee at will, yoghurts, deli meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, homemade pastries, etc. Only downside: Some products are a bit "low-end" (Scrambled eggs do not seem to be homemade but an industrial mix). No more restaurant attached to the hotel. Very good value for money-fun.

Centrally located, practically at St. Mark's Square, an area frequented at any time with shops and restaurants open until late. Service Good room, breakfast also international, local requiring. More maintenance of the (historical) structure would be desirable. Reception Hostess friendly and helpful to provide directions.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. As an old building don't expect every room to be the same, but based on my experience my room was very good. The bathroom was modern and clean and the room was spacious. We had a view of the canal behind the hotel and it's hard to beat the location: literally just around the corner from St. Mark's Square! Also, the hotel very close to Dal Moro's: excellent pasta take out!

The person that my asking my credit card my pray my secret number, I have the cancel my card after porter complained to the police! The Director can't orld at my request! E the colleague has tell more that I didn't pay… But the count summer pay from Decembre!

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel All'Angelo in Venice during the Carnival 2015. The experience turned out to be pleasant since the reservation, with a courteous telephone assistance that I was even allowed to take advantage of a larger room just freed. The location is excellent, just a minute walk from Saint Mark's square: you couldn't ask for better. The double room we were allocated was very bright, with views over the Rio parsonage, the Canal that runs right under the bridge of sighs. Welcome the presence of bathrobes and slippers in addition to the classic bath usually supplied by the hotel. Helpful and high quality: muesli, coffee, croissants, cakes and meats, all very good. So overall very good experience. To want to try the NIT you could highlight the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms (present only in the lobby) and the presence of uncertain how unpleasant "effluvii" from the channel. This does not affect anyway the final judgment.

Hotel is in a great location, friendly staff and nice view to have drinks by the river. Rooms are a bit out of date but thats being picky. Not too expensive especially for venice.

Good location but very hot in the room also mini bar didnt working well and the safe stuck all the time and Wi-Fi only in the loby.

Well located, dilapidated hotel, the furniture of the rooms is very limited, in the bathroom you have to put your belongings on the floor, the bed consists of 2 small beds. The curtains of which dirty.

I was at the Carnival of Venice 2013, the location of the Hotel is good but the room they gave me was very bad, very very neglected, broken and stained furniture, lamps and a mirror, like more of the same bathtub. The four stars who has the "Hotel" do not correspond with reality. Price desmesurado and very low quality.

Very good location. Rooms good size but beds very girls. They only have single beds, bone 90 cmts. That you join them to make a double. If they were 1 and mean square, bone of 105, cmts. It would be great. Good breakfast. Poor service from the front desk. Good service in dining rooms.

The location was fantastic but that is the only good thing I can say positive about this accommodation. The room was very small and grotty having breakfast included in the deal we ate there every morning and we found the Bacon under cooked and cold due to it not being heated when it was left in the serving dish the scrammbled eggs was also stone cold for the 5 days we stayed there.
