Couldn't even stay the night. Was in 114 on the older side. Our room was smaller than a closet and the bathroom was just gross. The decor was tacky and the huge vaulted ceilings only made the room hotter. Our AC didn't work, though it was making noises. When I asked for help or a new room, they said they could bring me a fan in 4 hours. It was 90+ today, so no AC is ludacris. We booked a different room at a new hotel.

The hotel price was better than the more touristy areas but the service was just ok. Baggage storage is not secure. It is just a self-serve storage in the back. That said, we did not have any issues. If you have trouble walking or don't want to take water taxis or public transportation, you may want to stay closer to the tourist areas. The big benefit of staying here was getting away from the crowds.

This was my first trip to Italy and I am very disappointed. The room that they were assigned had bed bugs. The staff and agency Gate 1 didn't accommodate the issue. In less than 24 hours this issue was addressed about room 104. Customer service is not a priority with the staff to make sure their customers health and well-being is satisfied.

Hotel at the far end of the island of Venice, convenient rental for the steamer station in front of the building. The rooms are nice and spacious although the bathroom showed some flaws such as the lack of a shower door. Breakfast was poor enough of choice, but still enough.

Very cute hotel in a great location for a quieter feel. Directly on the outskirts of the Jewish Ghetto, amazing food and history. Easy enough to walk into the main squares and directly next to a public water bus stop. We loved Venice and we loved this hotel.

I'm afraid to say that our experience of this hotel was not a good one. On arrival we were asked to move to another hotel some 15-20 mins walk away! We refused to move and was then allocated a room at the very top of the building. There was no lift or anyone to assist with two heavy suitcases so I had to struggle up and down the stairs with them myself. The room was tiny and very basic and we were unable to use the safe box because they had no key! The safe was eventually replaced but by that time it was of little use to us. Breakfast was very simple to say the least and it was obvious that the hotel is running on a shoe string and badly understaffed. We would not recommend the Tre Archi to anyone!

Great place. Loved the breakfast. On the other side of Venice so not a lot of traffic there.

Our room was spacious, good style, comfortable and clean, friendly staff, breakfast OK, the hotel is close to Santa Lucia Station, there is a vaporetto station almost at the door, our experience was very positive.

Located in a quiet area in front of the vaporetto stop, elegant Venetian-style rooms, friendly and very helpful staff, ample choice for breakfast. Recommended!

Miserably uncomfortable room. No air conditioning. The room was right by the canal so all I heard all day and all night were the rumbling engines of the boats. If I open the window to make the room cool off the noise was unbearable and the cigarette smoke from pedestrians would fill the room. If I shut the window I was suffocating. The staff did nothing to accommodate me. Very indignant. Maybe if the room was facing the courtyard it would have been better but I don't like rooms with bedspreads because you know they are never washed.

Me and my partner stayed at this 3* hotel, which was a nice clean large room with ensuite shower. Continental breakfast only. It suited us for our short stay in Venice. Nice and quite, as was away from the centre.

Ranked 2 stars because of the inability to control the temperature of the room. The thermostat is disconnected from the controls — the front desk recommends to remove the control panel to use the internal switches, but still it is only wired to run on heat NO COLD AIR. Even if it worked properly it might not be good to turn it on-the filter is full of dust maybe it hasn't been cleaned ever (zip ties have been used to secure it closed). The bathroom towel dryer/radiator is turned on and is super hot — the bathroom is like an oven — it has also been rigged so that it cannot be turned off. We reported these problems to the front desk but they never sent anyone to fix the problem. The room was too hot to sleep in without opening the windows, but with small children we also didn't want them getting too cold as the night time temperature is still low. So we slept in underwear and still sweat in our sleep. The bedroom we paid for was meant to sleep 4 people but they shoved 2 twin beds into a room that should only fit 1 queen (photo attached). Breakfast was good. Hotel was very clean and beautiful.

Overall a nice stay at the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was good. Had a nice variety of food and drinks. Room was nice but all we really used it for was to sleep and bathe. Heated towel rack in bathroom was a nice surprise.

Small friendly hotel located in the Cannaregio sestiere. Vaporetto stop right outside the hotel. Quiet. Nice and nicely decorated room. Nice staff Medium Breakfast.

We had good room clean and cozy discreet breakfast.

Quite traditional furnishings, but clean without a lot of frills. Breakfast is only the essentials but the quality is okay.

At the edge of Venice, which is good for tranquility and good local restaurants nearby. Not too far from the train station. Bad for the longer walk to everything and the transfer needed for water taxi.

A very well served Hotel (5.1 + 4.1) and 5 — 10 minutes from the station on foot! Small garden for lunch, a very warm welcome, very luxurious rooms and an affordable price! Flat: None Apart from the welcome of the hotel which should be renovated.

We were rather satisfied with the hotel and breakfast, then at the time of leaving it was necessary to pay the tourist tax of €30. Not taking the Blue card for the tax stay we had to run at the last minute to withdraw money. If our plane had not been delayed we would have missed it. Quite far from the city center ~ 2 kilometers of things to visit.

This hotel bumped us the first night and we had to go to another hotel. This ended up being a blessing in the end. They do not let you check in until 4:00 p. M. There is a reason. We were woken up on November 11 at 1:30 a. M to BED BUGS IN OUR BED! The bed had several layers of sheets over the mattress and it had a bed cover under that. When we woke up by biting the bed was full of a infestation of BED BUGS! When I came down stairs the night hotel clerk was trying to make me be QUIET! He did not want the other guests there to know I am sure. BEFORE WE LEFT THE HOTEL HE DEMANDED WE PAY FOR OUR CITY TAX ON A ROOM THAT WAS INFESTED WITH BUGS! We Left there from the lobby one hour later, as we were also in Italy for our last night and our flight left at 6:30 a. M. And we had to walk to the taxi/bus area for a ride to the airport. This place needs to be shut down and cleaned up by the health department. It should be mandatory for all hotels to have plastic zipper covers on all of their mattresses state wide. Especially with all of the travelers nightly.

Small Hotel quiet area until then everything goes if you are at 3rd without lift forbidden to overtake 1m60 otherwise dents insure bathroom shower impracticable or just a toddler.
Very average breakfast.

Located right next to a water bus stop, so that's really convenient. It's not too far from Piazza San Marco and it's right across the canal from Cocaeta, an amazing crepe shop. The rooms are nice, but the keys are huge. We even got bumped to a better room without asking for it. Breakfast is included but after eating too much the night before, I didn't eat much. It's pastries and eggs, mostly, but still looked good. The entrance is up two steps and there's no ramp.

The staff has been attentive and has served us well when we have needed it. The room was very nice although the tub faucet is somewhat uncomfortable (and it didn't work the one below). Breakfast was fine, minus the juice (at least orange) that tasted like medicine.

We visited in winter. The rooms were warm and clean. The staff were pleasant. The hotel is in a very pretty area of Venice, with short walks to San Marco, Rialto etc. The hotel food and amenities are on a par with most other budget hotels in Italy. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was OK but the staff except the breakfast waitress that a Curran she alone served everything should help someone else in summary good hotel.

It was a very nice stay in the Tre Archi! Very nice room and wonderful bathroom. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful as well as a large selection.
is really recommended & also very centrally located:). You can go super fast to the Rialto Bridge & to San Marco Square.

Our room was beautiful with a wonderful view. The bathroom had a totally awesome towel warmer. The hotel staff was helpful. The breakfast was nice.

Infrastructure is pretty old, no lift. Shower area is pretty small (:, next to canal taxi stand and close to Central railway station 15min walk. Decent eating places around.

Nice hotel… though was due to a rebooking second choice, but a good choice… simple, small but fine… * * * STAR fits… Breakfast adequate… Room, every day was taken care of order and cleanliness, great! Have felt comfortable for a week, a unique city!

The staff are very friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean and part of the hotel is newly built. Rich breakfast buffet and availability of luggage storage. It is also close to Santa Lucia station (10 min walk) and has the vaporetto stop in front. Of course there are small details that you can improve, but overall to be a 3star is a great hotel. Recommended! We will return!

Magnificent Hotel, a little far from the center if you walk there steamers that you move because walking with both bridge it makes you eternal apart from uploading and lowering them, as far as the hotel is a marvel is how yes you enter in the XVlll century I give you 8, 5

Went here for our honeymoon early sept 2017. The place is beautiful With beautiful glasswork and art. We had a huge room wt ac and a big chandelier. The front desk were nice but english was iffy. Close to do stuff. I hope to go again.

Slightly tucked away, in quiet position, just a few minutes from the station… we stayed in the new part of the structure (dependance), beautiful room and bathroom, breakfast plentiful and very varied… to recommend!

Forced to stay here after our previously booked hotel didn't a room for us despite having a reservation. SO much better than that hotel! Cute room, with an amazing view! Staff was friendly, breakfast included, and you can stow your bags here.

The best romantic place in venice. Good service, very nice rooms. 100% recomended.

Place is decently spacious and elegant, if you book a room try to get one of the newer rooms in the back of the hotem. Very vague way of describing it, but the hotel has a front portion and a separate set of rooms in the back.

Good for the price. Nice big room with air conditioning. Buffet breakfast included with pastries, cakes, cereal, yoghurt and fruit, coffee, juice. Good location, away from the crazy busy main street, but still close, and close to the train station. Lovely sunset views over the water at the end of the street.

The hotel is 10 mins walking distance from the main train station of Venice. All the main sight seeing points can be visited from the station in front of the hotel. Rooms are good but with no lift. So carrying your luggage by yourself to the upper floors can be a strain, but the host are helpful.

Hotel is very old. Rooms smell a little bit. Only advantage is that there is a boat stop in front of the hotel. Helpful if you take day ticket for boats.

Hotel Tre Archi was the single most unpleasant experience staying in a hotel that I've ever had. I arrived in Venice after visiting Rome and Florence looking forward to the romantic and beautiful city; The gorgeous architecture, bridges, canals and people. I was instantly let down upon arrival to Hotel Tre Archi. My girlfriend and I were told that our room was not available due to an issue with the restroom-understandable. Instead of providing us with another room, the owner told us we had to walk to another sister hotel "ten minutes away" with four suitcases. If you've ever been to Venice, it isn't the easiest to get around with large luggage — bridges with plenty of stairs and sidewalks that are comparable to a maze puzzle from my childhood. The walk was more than 20 minutes away just to arrive at a run down looking "Canal Hotel" that was hot and smelled like a sweaty grandmother wearing cheap rose scented perfume. I am by no means a "diva" but the room was unacceptable, especially science this was such an inconvienience. There was no elevator so my girlfriend and I, already exhausted from travel and lugging bags around aimlessly, were forced to again lug our baggage up 3 flights of narrow staircases — just to arrive in a tiny run down room. I'm an adventurer and have slept on the Appalachian Trail with no tent or shelter for weeks and I found this room I was lying for to be disgusting. I went back out to find another hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful. Well connected with the station and public transportation. The rooms are clean but require more maintenance and the Wifi is as! Modest price. To recommend.

When we visit Venice again, we will stay closer to St. Mark's Square. Hotel Tre Archi is on the complete opposite side of the island from where all of the action is, so it requires a lot of water taxi/public water taxi time to commute to & from. The hotel is older and very basic. Small rooms; A/C didn't work well at all (75-77 degrees in the room — yuck! ). The breakfast was super simple: some pastries, coffee options and cold cereal. Staff was minimally friendly. The "free" Wi-Fi only worked if you bought 30-minute intervals at 1 Euro.

Do yourself a favor dont go there. They charged us so much and even didnt meet the normal standards, such as, didnt have hot water didnt have normal breakfast — (worth 5$) bun and coffee. Rooms are sooooo small and customer service is poor. Sorry I had bad experience there.

Very bad! After we arrived they gave us the first, there is no room. Only after the 3. Complaint give dan the invalids room. Dirty and not heated. Breakfast is only limited material.

This hotel is everything bad that all other reviewers shared. Super thins walls, horrible bed, stairs, stairs and more stairs, BAD BREAKFAST and extremely far from anything, the resturant next door is horrible as well, the pizza was a generic easy bake. Spend a little more money to stay in a better area or at a better hotel. Hotel 2 buildings down is the same price and only 2 years old. The luggage was insecurely stored, DO NOT store your luggage there. Was promised Wi-Fi on the second floor, they charge 1 euro= 1 hr, took my $, and later told me the signal was week. Shady, shady, shady.

Great hotel! Off season we lived for 50 euros that penny for such hotel) very beautiful furniture! Very. In the style of I don't know how exactly it looks like a little Rococo, called all the colored flowers with kaemočkami, I really enjoyed it.

Very nice surprise on our arrival for a week at this hotel; Especially the 118 room which has a terrace overlooking the Cannaregio Canal.

Pleasure to be in an area inhabited by the Venetians while being close to the more tourist places.

Avoid. Far from many things. Bad hotel, some staff members very unfriendly and didnt care about u. The room, the lock didnt work, the windows didnt open, the plugs were too small for my electric things to charge, very noisy and thin walls, very hot in room, nothing to regulare heating, while I was there in winter time. street in front of hotel is flooded at some times, so hard to arrive there 'dry'. All these things werent as worse as the way I got threatened by the guy at the reception. It ruined by trip to venice.

Stayed 1 night with wife. in front of the hotel, there is a boat platfoam. appearence looks messy but inside is clean and cozy. especialy restoraunt for breakefast is good. room and toilet have each window. City tax is 3 Euro for 1 night. It feels expensive.

The bold guy of the reception is a stupid! Use bad words in your language to offend a clients. Always with a fake smile on the face.

Bad start-room 2mx1m with a single bed and a camp bed — it had a balcony which was 3 times bigger than this tiny room! I was distraught and first thing I had to do was call the holiday company and confront the hotel staff. We were transferred to a lovely room, but only after stress and tears. Real shame as rest of stay was enjoyable and Venice was as lovely as we had hoped.
