Everything was perfect! Helpful staff, cleaning, excellent breakfasts, close to the station, the vaporetto stop and, above all, outside the busiest tourist areas.

Before I worked hard in my review I wanted to do an in-depth reading, not on the positives but on the negatives. All this only confirmed to me the desire to give 5 stars to the structure. And the reason is very simple, the negative reviews are very few but moreover only and exclusively for missed refunds, crazy and often I seem to understand invented. I personally had a difficult experience in Venice due to force majeure, but unlike the so-called "keyboard lions" I lived the Carnival Palace for 3 days. Unfortunately my partner's physical condition conditioned our holiday, only Jacopo's prompt intervention and her team made her safe. Rushing to meet every need, they guided us to the places where we could have the proper medical care and finally felt like offering us the stay, insisting on fasting after our complaints not to pay, since unfortunately we could not enjoy the city! What to say applaud to these people who have made their passion of the profession. A 4-star S hotel that undoubtedly deserves the fifth according to those who make it habitual residence when traveling, this should be the style and spirit of the hotelier. We will definitely come back, thank you guys.

What do I recomend about Carnival Palace? Everything! Fantastic location, really friendly staff, gorgeous rooms, great breakfast and lovely bar!

Fantastic stay at the hotel. Great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast fabulous. Hotel happy hour with complementary snacks is a nice touch.

Since we arrived everything was better than we imagined. Service and attention excellent. The service of breakfast buffet very good. At reception they treated us great, Elisa, super friendly and charming we were attended from the first day we arrived until the last. Without a doubt, in another opportunity to return we would host there. We took Venice a wonderful and unforgettable memories ❤️.

Beautifully decorated elegant furnishings and classy trimmings. Breakfast is good with wide selection of bread and pastries, colds meats, cheese, salads, cereals, traditional English breakfast with good quality sausages bacon etc. Great coffee and very good Prosecco! Rooms are clean and spacious. Close to taxi stop and accessible to all you want to see in Venice. Absolutely love this place.

Good clean hotel. Very good staff… Great breakfast. Good location… walking distance from train station… but with luggage, its a bit hard… but still doable.

We were extremely happy with our 4 night stay in the Red suite. The room is Beautiful, so clean and so comfortable! Breakfast is superb. The staff were lovely and helpful. The outdoor Jacuzzi was amazing, we loved it and our 2 year old loved it! We would love to return to this Hotel, the location was amazing too!

Very nice hotel! Extremely well trained and polite staff. The room was wonderful. Impeccable decor. Every detail really good. The breakfast has a lot of variety. Food always very good. The hotel is close to the tourist areas and close to the boat to visit other areas! I had a little accident at breakfast. The rainwater that was in the gutter, fell on me and the table I was on. I took a shower literally. I Did not get angry. I just had to go back to the room to change again. During the evening the front desk sent a bucket of champagne as apologies. Great apology of course!

What an incredible hotel this is in a lovely quiet part of Venice.
As we were on our honeymoon our room was upgraded and it was absolutely sensational.
The breakfast was amazing, the bar is nice and there’s a long list of restaurant recommendations to try.

Family of four from America stayed three nights. Had a great time in family suite. Staff friendly. Hotel in a peaceful area but near the big tourist areas. Great nearby restaurants. Will be back!

After reading the negative reviews on this page, I can honestly say, I cant comprehend how people could write such things. We have recently returned from a wonderful stay at your hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. All members of staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. The welcome drink was a nice touch which we enjoyed whilst relaxing in your beautiful gardens. The breakfast was first class, plenty of choice and very fresh and the free prosecco was an added bonus! Many thanks, we look forward to returning in the not too distant future!

Hotel located away from the crowds on one of the most peaceful canals. Restaurant and staff very friendly, the garden accessible at any time is very nice. The stay at Carnival Palace is as we wished.

Very nice hotel which has a more modern décor than what you find in the hyper Center of Venice. Just 30 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco and with a vaporetto stop at 20 m or another at 50 m, it makes it a great location. The rooms are very good, the bathroom is spacious.
The service is at the top, reception (smiling, available, speaks French) as breakfast service which besides is very good (varied in the sweet as the salty). They make a good spritz

A very chique hotel with beautiful organised rooms. There was actually nothing wrong. The breakfast was very good and there was lot to choose from. The bed was a box spring and it was very soft. We were treated very nice by the staff. Definitely worth going here if you are in Venice.

Top Hotel! the rooms are very nice and the room is very clean. I recommend the location for those looking for a little quiet and close to the popular places of the locals.

Super easy to find from the Train station using bus & water taxi. Bus ticket was €8 ea took about 20mins. Then water taxi 5.2 was €7.50 ea and about 10mins. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Good variety delicious sweet pasties, coffee made to order, champagne, juice etc. Huge bathrooms. Gorgeous private courtyard to sit and relax. Super friendly and helpful staff. Speak great English. Would definitely return.

I can not even put into words how awful the manager of this hotel was for us. If you look at the bad reviews there is a common theme. If something goes wrong they will not fix it for you. I reserved the suite with a view which is the second nicest room in the hotel. I was on my honeymoon and to our dismay, THE BED WAS BROKEN and worn in on one side. As well the bed frame on the bottom was broken and there was a rod sticking into the mattress. The pillows were like the ones that have clumps of stuff inside and are very not comfortable. The hotel was clean and pretty nice but overpriced and the couches and beds (had our bed not been broken it was still not great) BELONGED IN A 2-3 STAR HOTEL. Long story short, the manager offered for us to switch rooms on the last night of our stay (a ridiculous fix) and that was it. He did not offer to do anything else and was so nasty to me and my wife. I was not able to sleep next to my wife on my honeymoon! : ( One last point — the location is terrible watch out. Remember water taxis are a fortune.

A modern and very well located hotel.

Very nice hotel, we had chosen for the decoration of its rooms much more modern (and to our tastes) than the other 4-star hotels in the older style.
Staff very nice and many speak French.

The hotel is located in a somewhat quieter area than the hustle and bustle of the other streets, so it is peaceful. The distance to Piazza San Marco is absolutely not a problem and it allows to discover the city and neighborhoods where we would not have necessarily gone.

We had a lovely stay at Carnival Palace. It is a very comfortable hotel in a quitter part of Venice away from the very busy tourist areas. Yet it is still within walking distance from major attractions for fitter tourists and on the waterbus routes for the rest. The room was very comfortable and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. They also serve a wonderful breakfast. I will highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice!

Very good boutique hotel. Excellent location. Very good decoration and the place is very nice. The prices are very good. The location is good. It is near the square and on the main channel. You can see the island and the. Surroundings are very nice.

There are also several good local restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The lobby bar is also pretty nice, though it was sparsely populated during our stay. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The room size is good, especially for Europe, and provided a comfortable stay for our 3 days in Venice. We would definitely return to Carnival Palace if we ever come back to Venice.

Very nice place very clean room with all safe mini bar Soap Shampoo shaver towel etc… With a bilingual staff who understands very well French and you reply to the suite breakfast essential for all the hunger Croissant Toast Bacon egg scrambled yogurt cappuccino chocolate etc… Thank you for our weekend we will return.

Mega Hotel right next to the sea junior sweet for 90 Euro top! Next time again immediately.

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the train station, away from the tourist stream. Booked a junior suite. The room is super, 2 separate rooms, new furniture, jacuzzi on the balcony, which is not very important in December. The bathroom only has a shower. The service at the height-provided a cot, which was asked at arrival, checked in earlier, for which special thanks, as arrived with a small child.

This was a wonderful hotel. The rooms were lovely, clean and modern with large bathrooms. The staff was friendly and spoke at least 3 different languages. It was in a great quiet location near the train station. They served prosecco at breakfast with many different jams and yogurts. Small cons about the hotel were that their linens smelled so laying in bed with your face in the pillow or willing your face on towel was a little unpleasant. The breakfast could have been a little better, with odd rubbery scrambled eggs and dry roasted potatoes. We also had the "do not disturb" sign up but came back to find a maid cleaning up our room and reorganizing our things. For example she put books into our open suitcase and moved a hair straightener into the bath tub to clear off the desk and bathroom vanity. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone going to Venice.

The room was beautiful. The front counter associates were extremely kind as were the staff serving us for breakfast in the morning. Not much else we could ask for! The location is outside the hotspots of Venice, but it's actually perfect. It is close to the train station and the best coffee spot in the entire city! Highly recommended.

Very modern and spacious room. 2 TV, mini bar, shower with balneotherapy, bathtub, view on the Canal, bed XXL very good in the mattress… In short all the conveniences + + + to see.

We stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel. Really well cared for, very clean and modern rooms. It is also in a good location… We were able to move very well on foot and found some great locals around. Staff at the reception and in the polite bar. But just a note. We were happy with the breakfast and the ' most ' of the staff there. But in particular I would like to report the behavior to the "rude" of a lady in the breakfast. I'm really sorry I didn't know his name, since he didn't have any budge. I describe briefly what happened… On 15 December around 9:30/10 this lady with long blond hair, unaware that we were Italians and surrounded by many foreign guests, begins to speak ill of each customer, complaining as soon as he turned his back. Obviously all in Italian so that those poor customers do not understand! And he tried to do it with us, too.
I am also an expert in the field I think such attitudes should not occur. Kindness and smile should be in the first place.
The rest of the ladies perfect and very kind… Especially a lady with short brown hair.
But despite this it was a beautiful stay.

Excellent hotel the location is ideal, at the edge of a canal, 200 meters from the sea, away from the tourist center.
The room is spacious, modern style.

— Breakfast is a standard buffet without more. No squeezed fruit juice and very little fruit choice. No vegetable milk available you have to ask the waitresses.

It was a very good hotel. Bathroom with a big shower. The daily maintenance is without reproach. I would recommend this hotel which is within walking distance of the sights but without the crowds.

Small mistake when we arrived, we had to change rooms the next day. Mattress a little soft (for my personal taste).

Great location, overlooks a canal or a garden depending on room location. Within 3 minute walk to a water bus station, and half hour walk of many interesting parts of Venice. Rooms are clean and comfortable, however they are not well configured for work, so other hotels may be more well suited for that. Food selection is good and high quality, and there is a bar available. Wifi can be finicky to connect to, but once connected is decently fast, good enough to stream videos. If you are coming to Venice for pleasure, this is a great hotel to stay at.

This hotel was perfect for our Venice stay. On top of being one of the most affordable hotels, the rooms are very high quality. Great facilities, great staff, close to the train station and local attractions, right on the canal, and close to food and shopping. I will most definitely make it a point to stay here again on our next trip!

This boutique hotel is a bit far from the city center, we thought it was very good. Hotel is located in the area is very quiet, and away from all tourist centres along the Canal square. On the water in front of the hotel there is a bus station, connected to the airport. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and modern, suitable for two nights we stayed. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good, has unlimited Prosecco for drinking, so great, need I say anything?

Great location, comfortable rooms although air conditioning in ours didn't really work. Enjoyable breakfast and excellent service when required. Found it odd not to get tea /Coffee facilities in room or an iron despite having a suite. For that reason it only gets 4 stars.

Absolutely loved our stay in the carnival palace hotel, in a great spot close to everything you need, within walking distance to and from taxi station and other transport, lovey service very welcoming and we will definitley be staying here again very soon!

Great service at front desk, good sized rooms that are clean and all felt very high tech and was a mystery how to enter the room, switch things on, etc. But made it all fun. Good location away from the hustle and bustle and close to the train station.

Just needs a bit of storage, and really in my view a default for a hotel of this level, no coffee/tea in the room: with the rates and services of the institution, it is surprising.

Located in a neighborhood a little apart, but from my point of view, one of the most pleasant: streets and small beautiful canals, no rush, transport at the foot of the hotel, many restaurants.

This is the best hotel in Venice by I ever was. Location excellent, crew are very friendly and make you feel special to be. I will stay again in any case in the Carnival Palace. I look forward to come again in the summer and to relax with a drink on the terrace.

An Excellent quality hotel located a 30 minute Vaperetto ride from Piazza San Marco. The rooms are modern and clean. It's definitely one of the quieter areas so the room was relaxing.

Really, wonderful experience.

Gorgeous new hotel, nothing like other places here. Great air conditioning, great rooms, and soft-comfortable linen and beds. I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside is that its a bit further from the main area, but its still about ten min walk from the train station, and about 5 min from the Jewish Ghetto.

If you have a great modern Hotel is looking for is you are absolutely right. There is nothing better in the whole of Venice.
