My Wife and I had a wonderful time when we stayed there a year ago we really enjoyed our room it added to our Venice experience and gave just the ambience we hoped to enjoy in Venice the food was excellent and the room was clean and beautifully decorated in a classical style We can't wait to visit again.

Nearby the train station and the attraction spot. A lot of shopping store beside the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean room.

Very Venetian character hotel exactly what we wanted, spotlessly clean, maid in every day, nice roof terrace off room, lovely courtyard to eat breakfast in and friendly helpful staff and fabulous location xx will definitely go back x.

Large, clean rooms with typical Venetian décor.
Air conditioning and mini bar in the room.
Daily towel change.
The windows need maintenance.
Negative note the breakfast designed more for foreign tourists than for Italians.
Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel rooms were dated. Guest room doors opened with keys on extremely heavy key fobs. There weren't enough outlets in the room for today's technology needs. The air conditioning didn't work in one of our rooms and staff was not receptive to our requests to remedy the situation. This was unacceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel. The urinal in one room wouldn't empty. Toilet seat in one room was broken. Wifi did not work well. Breakfast was subpar. Would not recommend this hotel.

Almost an ideal location. Stay was just Ok.

The best part is it's location. Just 5 minutes walk from railway station and bus stop in a very lively and busy market Street. Rooms are just enough and toilets are clean. Breakfast is inclusive in the rates and is good. However the elevator is very very small and only one person with the luggage can use it at a time. No coffee makers in the room. Staff is helpful and cordial. Would recommend it for a short stay in Venic when you need the room only to sleep. But do not expect any great amenities here.

Great location, 10 min walk from the station or bus terminal. Hotel was clean and well organised and staff were helpful and accomodating. The rooms were adequate but we would have like coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Good buffet breakfast selection. Enjoyable stay.

The stars do not reflect the hotel…

The hotel overall is clean and nice and gives you the vibe of Venezia. The inconvenient, at least in our case, was the fact that the walls of the room are thin and we could hear what our neighbours were saying. Besides this, the room had view to another wall and while raining we could hear the water pouring which was not pleasant (the windows were not isolated).

I'd call it an old lodging. Very ancient interior, without gloss. The atmosphere of antiquity. It was cold. Hot water had to be passed… to wait for her. It's clear. There was no view from the windows of our room… and in general they were locked in shutters. So if you want to immerse yourself in old-fashioned simplicity. That's this way. If you are looking for a view and comfort look for something else. The location is good. No breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights… very nice staff the cleanliness of the rooms wonderful if we go back to Venice I would definitely stay at this hotel.

On TripAdvisor read so many negative things, but experienced the opposite. Is clean and staff are nice and breakfast is also quite good. The furniture is quite old but have charm and water pressure and temperature in the shower you can adjust perfectly.

Good place to spend a few days in the city, very close to the station and with all kinds of sites nearby, the friendly and attentive staff especially Pedro from the front desk.

Great hotel both as beauty and cleanliness, good breakfast and plentiful, good location a few meters of the bus stop and railroad, you can also rent Carnival costumes in hotel.

Pros: Very clean and convenient location Nice entrance and 24 hrs desk was at the top of my list to checkin and out without a worry/delay. I liked the laminate floor and no carpet in the room, more hygienic. Located in one of the main busiest street, full of shops, restaurants and bakeries. Room was quite. Cons: Furniture and fixture is dated but clean. No water views. Mattress was broken You could hear the normal movement and conversations from neighbouring rooms to disturb your sleep. Only one hard to find switch to charge my phone. Expensive to eat and shop, you may go to some quite streets to find small shops to save some bucks. Barbie sized elevators, so let the hotel take your luggage to your room. 1/4 lb heavy bronze key chain with old style key Heater very close to toilet seat that could easily burn you. Don’t eat or drink even water from the fridge otherwise hotel will add it to your bill, unexpected from the self called 4 star hotel.

I stayed here for my honey moon in 2012 and we were given a room that had no views and our beds were single not very romantic. The dining area and whole hotel is very outdated. We could also hear the room next door and pipes go when the room next door showered. Oh and our room door did not lock I wasn't feeling very safe.

4-room Hotel located in the northern part of Venice, but relatively close to the centre, about 20 or 30 min walk. Small room with beds a little small, old, but all clean and with good thermal insulation, although not acoustic, you hear all the noises of the street if the room gives to the outside, as it is a quite busy street in Venice. Breakfast is buffet free although I expected it better to be 4 star. It is well located in terms of transportation. In short, not bad, but I expected better.

The reviews do not seem to do this hotel any justice. Super friendly staff and very clean rooms. The only remark I would have is the small elevator and the lack of sockets in the room, but still very pleased to have stayed here. Would book again!

Very kind and helpful staff, nice hotel and location is fine. Close to the busstop coming from Marco Polo airport and lively neighbourhood. Rooms are clean and fine as well. We would book again.

If you are trying to save some dough on your accommodations in Venice, this is your place. You can walk everywhere and breakfast is totally decent. Clean rooms. Nice, helpful staff. Lots of hot water.

Very nice hotel located at 20min walk from Piazza San Marco. Direct access to the pedestrian streets of Venice.

No noise, good breakfast and treatment, central and better than the average Italian hotel.

Classic Hotel Venetian style but very strategic for its location, clean rooms friendly staff and available for every request. Breakfast buffet plentiful and provided very cozy room we stayed well and relaxed. I recommend it.

Very convenient location For stays on weekends it is priceless not to have to unload suitcases on up and down bridges but opt for a hotel near the station.

Very old hotel. Our room had a decent size, but the windows were broken, and we could see in the Nachbarzimner, as there was a gap in our wall. Accordingly, we could hear them, and it just shone in when we had the light and they didn't.
Breakfast was OK, the tea was really tasty, the bacon and the eggs were cold and not very good. You get fresh pancakes through a machine, looks cool, but is also not so tasty.
Was, when you look at the hole in the wall, pleasantly quiet, beds were comfortable.
Short to the bathroom: broken window, broken door (could not be closed, just ajar), very old shower, calcification.
The staff was very nice, therefore 2 stars.

Ha first seen we were very happy, the room was sumptuous, but looking closer, there are cobwebs, the joints of the bathroom moisis, a cracked window. And the décor is all in OCD, it's not believable for a 4 *.
When the breakfast, really fro, the quality is not at the rendezvous (except tea and coffee).

Elegant Hotel rooms comfortable non-wide comfy bathrooms with double bath shower facilities. Windows on the rooftops of Venice. Good breakfast with friendly assistance.

The room was lovely and clean, it looked over the street. The garden is lovely in the evening and the breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. Located near the water taxis, water bus stop and the train station it is perfect for getting around and getting to other cities in Italy. They were wonderful helpful in navigating a very confusing city. There were wonderful shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The wine shop across the street and on the corner from the hotel is convent. Though not on the water they are close enough. It is a charming space and I am glad my travel agent booked us there. I would stay there again and hope to in the future.

Not taken well care off and dirty, moldy bathroom. Very pricy and felt like a 2 star hotel. Unfriendly staff.

We stayed in a room the 111molto in Venetian style clean and quiet.

Amadeus Holiday is a very good place to stay in Venice. The manager is very courteous and helpful. The room is very spacious and so is the bathroom. It is decorated like a home and it feels like a home. The bathroom has a bathtub and the view from the windows is amazing. I will post some pictures because words are not enough.

The hotel room was decent, but the TV and one of the outlets didn't work. There were no outlets near the bed, so we couldn't plug the laptop in and charge while video chatting with the kids. Half of the staff was very nice, while others seemed a little snooty. The one great thing about this hotel, is that you don't have to cross any bridges with your luggage from the train.

I would not call this a 4 star hotel. Rooms were very dated and the bathroom tile was in rough shape. Half of the bathroom counter was sagging. Staff was not very helpful with questions. They offer a private $120 water taxi and pushed than on us over an $8 bus pass to the airport. Location is great next to the train terminal and bus station.

Advertised as a 4 Star, hardly worth even a 3 Star rating?! The brochures look different to reality. Basically dirty and unloved. We left our room at 8am and upon 3pm we found it untouched. Staff are short in manner and the porter was unhappy with his tip (lucky he got one). Room smells damp and musty and you can hear your neighbours flush and shower. Need I go on? Position is good as it is close to the station. Would I stay there again? I don't think so!

I stayed at this hotel in February 2016 and I did not experience anything bad at all. My stay there was pleasant and had great customer service. It's also close to the train station, rooms were clean when we got there, washroom wasn't too bad. I attached a picture of the room we stayed in.

Not worth the money. The hotel is old and hasn't been renovated in a while… If you want to stay in the middle of Venice at least choose an hotel near the canals with a nice view.

Good quality and very nice rooms with venetian decoration.

Was there 2 weeks ago. Seems like an average hotel but don't expect your electronics to work. TV was not working and a terrible to none Wi-Fi connection. And the guy at the desk told me that "its you fancy equipment that is not working". When a complaint was raised, reply was "there are connection issues during storms" except the only problem is there were no storms. In any case, they advertise the rooms as $1200 a night and then they have a special for $250, a lot of lying going on and forget about any refunds for any wrong doing.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Amadeus in August prior to embarking on a 12 night cruise from Venice with Holland America on the Nieuw Amsterdam. The hotel was an upgrade on a package booked through Cruise Nation. We had asked for a 4 star hotel close to Santa Lucia railway station and the cruise terminal as we came into Venice by train from Paris. Our train arrived at 10.30am on a very hot morning. We were pleased that the hotel was only about a 7 minute walk (dragging cases) from the station and as we entered, the air conditioned, elegant foyer was very welcoming. We had expected to just leave our luggage as it was so early and go out to eat, but the management had already prepared our room and let us in immediately, which was wonderful. We were on the first floor at the front overlooking the busy street, but there was double glazing, air conditioning and shutters, which meant the room was cool and silent. We showered and went out to eat. The room was very pleasant — spacious, with a very comfortable king size bed, seating area, flat screen TV, plenty of storage. The only strange thing about the room was that there was a bathroom with wash basin as we entered in the vestibule, then to access the toilet, we had to walk through the bedroom to another room which contained toilet, bidet and washbasin! This made the whole process of ablutions, make-up etc very difficult! However, it's a very old building, so we managed!

We've been here lately spending some days in a very romantic getaway, excellent service and extreme courtesy from the whole staff and a superb breakfast to start the day. Many thanks to Mr Mario at the reception, very kind and professional, and to all the guys working at this charming hotel located in the heart of Venice. We'll come back for sure!

Great location, staff friendly and attentive (and yet it is a reservation of private showroom). Shower and bath in the room. Of bags breakfast even we were prepared because we had to leave the hotel early in the morning. In short, if I were to return to Venice I'll surely hotel.

The hotel is due to the situation on his own. Staff friendly, room clean (bathrooms somewhat small) breakfast in order.

Was remodeling, and staff didn't treat us very professionally. Strongly believe it was because we were young twentysomethings.

Management was horrible in handling our issue with a stolen ipad. We left the room with a do not disturb sign posted and came back to a missing ipad. They have been no help in recovering or solving the issue.

Location is nice, staff is nice but the rooms are a little bit old and rusty.
