We stayed two weeks ago, the room small but cool as it was provided with air conditioning. Very clean and also the bathroom very functional thing quite rare in Venice. The staff are very friendly, breakfast is quite poor. But all in all, it deserves enough.

Very nice staff. Good location. Breakfast was good. It is a traditional building but although clean our room was a little dated. The aircon unit was old and noisy so made it frustrating through the night.

A charming hotel within a 5 minute walk from the central train station. Convenient to water transportation, restaurants, shopping, even produce vendors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator and the rooms are up to 5 floors. The view is only a tile roof but typical for this close-in location. The air conditioning was not working in our first room but the staff gladly moved us. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Very good location The hotel seems divided into 2: The new and beautiful part where you make breakfast, the old one where we ended up. There was nothing vaguely to Norma, wires everywhere, one of the 2 outlets available was broken (stuff to Electrout) the TV only broadcast 1 channel (problem they had in the entire wing of the hotel), the phone for the hair stood together because it tied with Scotch! We had asked for a triple and we were in the attic under the sloping roof very inclined, so much to slam the back cmq even being bent, exposed beams that passed half a metre from the beds and no chance to obscure the skylight except with a white curtain. Maybe the rest of the hotel deserves 4 stars, that Part I saw myself and No1. I put 2 out of sympathy.

We stayed at alle Guglie for 3 nights in May. This is a typical Venetian hotel: ancient style, not too big (but very clean) rooms, small bathrooms, very limited breakfast. Nevertheless I would recommend it. First of all, we got excellent service. Our special gratitude to Lucia and Tatyana, who were very kind, took exceptional care about our needs and provided our comfy stay.

Nice, very courteous and helpful staff especially the blonde receptionist with whom I had a pleasant conversation, unfortunately the room was very close to the lobby, so the privacy was not the best, we requested a change of room but There were no other available. In the room there was only one conditioner but I would have preferred the radiators, more cha more to dry some clothing since unfortunately we happened in the rainy week. The breakfast was very good.

Fantastic Place. Near to all places in Vanice. Rooms was great. Small but romantic. Hope to back there next time in Venice.

The Hotel alle spires was a good choice both for the strategic position (10 MN from the train station) and for the location in a street full of shops, bars etc. And the proximity to the vaporetto stop San Marcuola useful to reach the various attractions of Beautiful city. The room was very good and the staff were very helpful. Recommended.

A small but chic hotel! We were really glad to have got such a small price such a hotel with friendly staff, free genuine delicious breakfast (pancakes, cakes, fresh croissants, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal and some more). It is located on a busy shopping and restaurant mile that can be followed wonderfully to the Rialto Bridge or San Marco. Also, evening/night Nothing was heard of it. The rooms are a little small but comfortable and nicely decorated with fabrics. Happy to be back!

Good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. You can check-in at any time and although the check-out is at 11 as in most hotels, they will keep your luggage if you need it. They include breakfast which does not have a great variety, but it is enough and all very good. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small. The only downside I would put is that the locks are a bit old and it's hard to open and close the doors.

Nice hotel, very strategic location. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast is more than good and the price was reasonable compared to the competition. The staff is very friendly. Being close to the station, it offers a great comfort. On the day of arrival or departure, you can leave your luggage in free custody, and also take advantage of a clean toilet when you go to pick them up. Really recommended!

Recommended Hotel… A six-minute walk from the train station and next to three Vaporetto stations. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and small rooms but very comfortable and functional.

Stayed here for 2 nights and I can absolutely recomend this hotel. It's close to the train station Santa Lucia and it's only like a 5 minute walk. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are clean. I expected them to have some humidity given the city's location, but no humidity at all. Loved it here!

Good hotel. Particularly for train station and airport access. However it is a fair distance from St Mark's cathedral and the other big sights in Venice. Bathroom and rooms neat, however the ceiling is rather low. Would not recommend for someone over 6 ft.

Nice hotel, without "fuss" and very quiet, the location is ideal in a very lively area of Venice. The street is full of Nice boutique and restaurant. On the other hand the breakfast is very basic, prefer the cappuccino and espresso on the other side of the street in a legendary establishment.
The value for money is very good for Venice.

Hotel is in a convenient location. Really close to the train station and right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Small and practical hotel, good located near the Gran Canal. They speak different languague. Free Wi-Fi.

This hotel is exceptional! It has characteristics that give you the sensation of living in Venice in the 17th century. It's small, colorful and inspiring. Its small corridors are importing you to a whole mystery. The rooms are small, but is everything you want. It has a nice view to the main street of Cannaregio. Its location helps your better transportation within the canals. Maybe it's far from the St Mark's square, but don't bother, because you have many to see around there. The personnel works perfectly. It's professional and very warm! They embracing you and they can guide through Venice, according to your tastes and preferences. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Also are the bathrooms. The breakfast is very good and it has a good quality. In addition with the small, deep red refectory, is very enjoying.

Only a few minutes from train station, and a few docks on main canal, easy to find. A lot more reasonable price neighborhood than other areas of Venice and still safe, attractive and full of merchants, restaurants and tourist. No lift, be ready for stairs. No outlets on walls, had to unplug TV to find a source. Not quiet, old windows, can hear all the outside activities.

Never go to Hotel Alle Guglie. They are terrible and inflexible. I canceled the booking by mistake. They took my money for 4 nights of accommodation and did not want to restore reservation in conditions which had three rooms. All this happened 4 months before receiving government services.

A few minutes walk to the station, quite central.
You can easily reach monuments, churches, St. Mark's Square. The breakfast included in the price is satisfactory. The grandma's cake, the fruit tarts and the pancakes prepared at the moment give that touch of energy to undertake the visit of the Splendda Venice. I'il be back.

Helpful staff especially front desk people (specifically Luca). Rooms are a bit dated and tight. Bathroom was especially tight. Too many stairs to walk but staff helped with. Breakfast was ok.

However the downside is some wired policies they have like if you want to leave early in the morning you need to check out the night before; not knowing these little things will cause some adverse effects on your stay… room service and breakfast is also satisfactory.

It's a fairly decent hotel. Can't beat the location/price. Everything you want to see in Venice is within walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be better (compared to others I've had in similar hotels in Italy) and the rooms are a bit stuffy/humid. Still, a very decent hotel overall.

It's old enough, like all of Venice, but it isn't bad. The small but renovated bathroom. Worst breakfast. A room too small and narrow, very uncomfortable and products few and not very good quality.

Nice hotel with decent rooms. Proximity to train station is a plus. Guglie ferry stop is right around the corner which is nice if you have bags and are coming/going to airport. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The area is perfect and easy to get to anywhere within around 20 minutes. I had to take off stars for functionality. Finding reception can be tricky to find. The hotel is split into two halfs with each having a front door. The door on the right is labeled and you have to be buzzed through. Reception is on the left and fairly unlabeled. There are multiple floors so you have to carry luggage up the stairs. I had one bag so it wasn't a problem for me but if you pack heavy it would be a pain. The rooms are small but decent. Comfortable full bed. Clean and updated bathroom but the shower is tiny (slightly larger than 2'×2'). The A/C unit kept the room comfortable. Nice a la cart breakfast. Nice variety of choices and a lovely attendant that will make you cappuccino. Beware there is a room that opens right into the breakfast area. When people step out of the room during breakfast everyone automatically turns to look, so make sure your wife is decent in the background.

BEWARE! It's a big NO, NO! They are scammers. 1) Never give them your credit card, they steal money after you go home to your country. 2) If you take 1-2 bottle of soda from the fridge, at the reception they will charge you for 4 bottles. 3) Did you see pictures from their web site? They are fake, in real everything is OLD and filthy. 4) Reviews on Tripadvisor about them are fake. 5) Rude, rude personal and liars. Never go there, yes price seems like fair BUT they will abuse you. Don't make MY mistake and find something else, there are million hotels in Venice. Don't believe good comments about them, they write it themselves.

Hotel is a bit old, but it was all good, room well and fairly small but good grooming for two days is fine. Air conditioning had to tell while it wanted on and them smokily it, were super point to turn it off.
The location was good, close to everything, above all from the train station which is very convenient to not have to wander the luggage all of Venice. I recommend it, for people who look no luxuries.
