I have been there several times and I have always felt good… clean and excellent breakfast buffet… it is located next to the basilica of San Antonio… I recommend it to everyone even for the disabled 😍

A good service centric hotel in an excellent location for Padova.

Near the St. Anthony de Padua Church. The hotel is new, nice furnitures and fixtures. Breakfast buffet with a lot of choices.

Guests in the master bedroom should never have the perception of sleeping on two single beds joined so the use of the union hinge is essential along with a quality mattress cover. That didn't happen with us I think the only bad thing is very important. For that 3-star instead of 5. However the staff always available, room cleaning, collation, parking service. Excellent!

The structure is very central, just a few meters from the Basilica of St. Anthony. Parking is charged on the street at 1.70 euros per hour from 8 a. M. To 8 p. M. The hotel was born as accommodation for pilgrims and then turned into a real hotel, with hallway and very spacious rooms (the ceilings are really very high). The room is spacious enough, equipped with closet, small desk, fridge The bathroom is quite spacious and clean,. Breakfast, served at one of the two restaurants open for lunch and dinner, and included in the room price, was sufficient varied and plentiful, few salty foods compared to the sweet and classic Italian ones. There are two distinct options for dinner, the hotel's restaurant offering traditional menus and a more international restaurant with a more refined menu, adjacent to the previous one.

For personal taste, the structure was clean and well-ordered, but with the characteristics of a convent or an ancient sanatorium completely renovated and well cared for (also in line with the name itself). The bathroom is blind and the wall hair dryer provided did not work. The double bed was clean, but the mattresses were two singles, so in the middle it tended to yield. The air conditioning is a bit dated and for this slightly noisy, the controls are only on the wall, without that is a remote control.

We were completely satisfied.

Optimal location, both to visit the Basilica and the center of Padua. Helpful staff, competent and very friendly, large and clean room. Definitely to prefer.

Strategically located. Beside the Church of St. Anthony. Equipped with ample and comfortable parking inside Fó fundamental in the center of Padua. Very simple but clean rooms. Very good value for money.

I stayed for 4 days in your hotel and felt at home: friendly staff, spacious and clean room. The location is 5 minutes from the hospital and is very close to the saint. I will definitely recommend it.

Good accommodation. Quiet. Excellent area for the devotees of St. Anthony but also close to the old town and well connected by bus to the train station. The rooms are basic but functional.

Cozy comfortable spotless! A real pleasure in the heart of Padua. Essential and very efficient. Very good value for money And also great friendliness on the part of all the staff.

This is a very nice and cheap Hotel, right next to a very impressive church. It's just a few hundred meters to the Monorail and from there it's about 30 minutes by train to Venice. The breakfast is good with lots of variety and the staff is very friendly, but lacks a bit of English. Our room was clean and cozy and got cleaned every day, so we didn't have to worry about this. I'd really recommend it, especially when you are traveling on a budget. A great place to stay and explore the historic sites of Italy.

I've never been to a hotel that felt more design oriented for people rather than just trying to make it beautiful. I really enjoyed that the rooms are large and easy to access with the elevators and that breakfast was easy to find and delicious. The showers where perfect and the air conditioner was placed in the room perfectly so that it would cool the room without hindering your sleep. I enjoyed my experience.

Simple room with airconditioning to spend the nights with shared bathroom across the hallway.

Only stayed one night but room was spacious, immaculate, and had a great view of the courtyard below. Room was a little confusing to get to (kind of a labyrinth of hallways! ), but that meant it was nice and quiet.

Excellent to stay, quiet and close to the historic centre. Quality-very good price. We will be returning.

14-04-18 Hotel Casa del Pellegrino perfectly structure in the center of Padua a few meters from the Basilica of Sant'Antonio dated but however the interiors have been restructured consists of more buildings then as receptivity is quite large. Were quartered here as part of a study trip for a few days. The room was fine. There is nothing wrong with the cleanliness. The breakfast was very good in my eyes. The location is perfect. A clear recommendation from me!

On the 18th and 19th of March we visited Padua, a beautiful city, a beautiful Basilica full of spirituality.
Delighted with the welcome of all the staff of the Pilgrim's house, really nice and welcoming. To be recommended, very close to the Basilica.

Great location near the center. Nice Hotel, the room chosen for two was small but there was no need. Only big flaw, OK that out there were-8 degrees but the radiator remained on all night and was struggling to breathe from the heat! For the rest OK.

Hotel is very well located, in front of the basilica. The staff very friendly. The room is wide and clean, but… it was very cold in it, despite being turned on the heating to the maximum level. There was not Wi-Fi in the room. You could hear everything what was happening in the hallway and in other rooms (poorly soundproofed) and the rest was not good: we slept covered with three blankets and sheets were of very poor quality, felt like sandpaper. As you see, the hotel is left to be with things basic but super solved.

Good location, clean rooms and low prices.
Only sore note is the treatment received during breakfast I think from the head room.
We were just having breakfast myself my wife and our three children, two of them did not eat anything and I was allowed to take 2 brioches to take away in two napkins and get them to eat at a later time when we felt we resumed loudly in front of Everyone from this gentleman who told us breakfast should be consumed here!
I would say a nice fall in style, I had paid bed and breakfast for 5 people so it didn't seem like the case such a behavior.
I invite to those who have to think about the behavior of this people who by the way was quite nervous between the tables in the early morning when the customer would need to relax and calm.
I'il think twice about it. Next time to rebook in this hotel despite having many other merits.

The hotel is located in front of the Basilica of Sant ' Antonio, a very suggestive place and also close to the points of interest of the city.
The rooms are in standard and quiet.
The Wi-Fi is included in the rooms but, the connection speed could improve.

We had typical Italian experience with the hotel. It depends much upon the person who works at the reception and … you should see the room before you take. We have been lucky to deal with a very good man at the desk and he gave us the best hotel room we ever had… We have been very satisfied with the quality, price and service. We felt the spirit of Christianity at the hotel. The hotel lies just a lap over the street from the most beautiful Cathedral. Well, the breakfast was not included, but we had possibility to buy delicious cakes at the bakery around the corner which was a little bit hard to find. Go from the hotel left and then turn to the first crossing street right, it is just a few meters from the crossing on the right side. Usually a black man standing there seeking for a job offer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a bit like feeling at home. The rooms are very good I thank the lady who takes care of the breakfast for the sympathy and patience in withstanding our delays.

We were staying at this hotel last week end. Central Hotel, comfortable and very clean. Competitive Price, very friendly, efficient and very helpful staff. Simple Rooms, but tastefully decorated and very functional. Good kitchen with excellent service, breakfast with extensive and comprehensive choice… I recommend to everyone this hotel! The Only small mole (to want to find a flaw) is that to reach the restaurant you have to walk a short stretch in the open, a little uncomfortable during the winter.

I know the hotel Casa del Pellegrino for about thirty years and I always choose it when I go to Padua, also because it is near the Basilica of St. Anthony and from there you reach in a short time the center of the city. The staff are nice and helpful, the rooms are clean, quiet and equipped with all the main comforts. The prices are modest. I highly recommend.

Best position on the whole of Padua:

A 2-minute walk from Prato della Valle and the Basilica and library Santa Justina,
At 1 minute from the loggia and the Odeo Cornaro,
5 minutes from the hospital,
2 minutes from the botanical garden,
5 minutes from the Zabarella Palace (exhibitions),
5 minutes from the Palazzo del Bo ', home of the University of Padua,
and 5 minutes from the various monuments, palaces, squares, restaurants and shops of the historical centre of Padua.
It offers unbeatable prices for various types of travellers: pilgrims, families, businessmen, carers and hospital patients, and also for groups…
The staff is very nice and helpful 24/24 and in various languages.
Inside the hotel you will find a typical restaurant, a pizzeria and a bar.
Connected to the train station of Padua, and served by tram and several buses (stop: Santo).

What of being able to sleep the whole family in a spacious room for 5 people is a hoot when your children are young. And the price is more than affordable. A familiar treatment and near. But the best thing is the closeness to the Basilica of San Antonio.

Many rooms are in recent buildings with very noisy air conditioning systems as for some hotels in the US that are made for tourism. The rooms next to the street overlook the beautiful basilica. You have to choose your room.

Great location. Great staff, good rooms. Unfortunately we had a mattress that was really uncomfortable. It needs replacement. We've notified staff, assuming it will be done.

Nice Hotel, well located and nice people working in. Very busy place at any time! Close to the city center and to the st Antonio church. Breakfast buffet is good and price is 8€ /person which is ok. The main drawback is the cost of the parking place which was 8€/day and now 12€/day! Apart from this, we recommend the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking is not free though for one night it costs 12 euros. In front of the hotel the blue-striped seats are free from 8pm until 8am.

The Hotel is very central. Convenient to reach the Santo, Prato della Valle, the Policlinico and a few minutes walk from the squares. Quiet structure and friendly staff. The room is complete with all the necessary comforts. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, but a few metres away you will find nearby facilities.

Very classy hotel with a rich history as well. Location is right opposite the St Anthony basillica. Reception staff are quite efficient and prices are quite reasonable compared for a three star hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are quite large and clean. Try to get a room in the 4th building which is newer.

Shakespeare in Italy has just started a 2 week course here with 14 participants. The staff could not be more helpful, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the location is ideal. Highly recommended.

The church bells ring out from early morning and regularly throughout the day. There was a good choice of food at breakfast.

The rooms are large but old, the air conditioning works well… The staff are friendly but the kitchen is a disaster… they are vegan and I year served the same dishes X 2 days although Avisando and Facciendoli write that they are vegan… they said they forgot … really bad service in the restaurant I do not recommend it absolutely x vegans and vegetarians…

A really nice 3 star hotel in Padua! There have been three months ago for a weekend, to show me the city sightseeing tour and I must say that I was very very happy with it. The hotel has its own restaurant with various menus and a conference room (detail I write because my stay was for business reasons). Also the prices are very good, mostly because I'm a little:D for every budget.
