Room/staff/air-con/breakfast are great. Location/Wi-Fi/locals not so good.

We hard a great stay at the hotel. We booked a room for 4 nights and everything was great. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff came every day, made the bed, changed the towels of needed etc. The breakfast was simple but good, ham, cheese, pastry, eggs, coffee, tea and juice. The room is big enough but the bathroom is a bit small. No big deal though. The walls are indeed thin but you can't hear the noise from outside, only the neighbors and if you are lucky they won't bother you. The staff is very friendly and helpful, our plane landed early in the morning and they let us check in at 12 o clock. Before we came here we read that there were some problems in the area with what they called "gangs". We didn't see them, just regular people on the streets at night. We saw some dubious people in a park one evening, drinking whiskey but it was far from the hotel and we discovered that the dubious people were Romanian like us and they were in fact very friendly. The location is really close from public transportation and you can easily get anywhere you want, also there are shops and restaurants nearby. We have some suggestions though. 1 anti slip mats in the bathroom. 2. Maybe a table and some chairs in the smoking area (we asked the reception staff for some chairs tonight because we wanted to stay outside for a bit longer and they were very kind and gave us some very comfortable chairs). All in all a great experience. Thank you so much!

Just basic and simple no mini fridge or kettle… bathroom very small good location that's bonus needs redecorating Wi-Fi included bonus as well… breakfast not bad.

Very good reception by cons room poorly soundproofed otherwise breakfast very hearty and welcoming more than warm.

Pretty good location close to the train, our problem were the air-conditioning was out of service and the night personal they don't do anything to fix the problem. I did a complain but not answer. That's sad, you pay for something and the service is not what you expect.

Good value for money: the essentials are provided at a very affordable price for a region so touristy.

Rooms are tiny, problems with hot water-need to check right away and ask at the reception to connect. The towels were dirty. In the snot and yellow spots. From the positive-immediately respond to requests, the staff is responsive. And yes, take a fumigator-the hotel has a mosquitoes.
Breakfast was good. The air conditioner works perfectly. The hotel's location itself is comfortable, but the streets around in the evening are a lot of weird-minded blacks. They do nothing, but they stare and sometimes talk. In the evening I do not recommend to walk, although the receptionist convinced us that these companies are safe.
In general, the three-for the staff and proximity to transport.

It has everything that is needed and in its good measure. It even has kettle in the room to make a tea.
Cons: The neighbors were very noisy first thing in the morning and the hot water lasted little (1ducha long) but then it was warm water. And the TV picked up signal at times but as we didn't use it it didn't matter.

I liked the men at the front desk they were very nice and helpful, and even let me print some maps. The room is small and not a good Wi-Fi connection. We were staying in an a unsafe area, so not recommended for young families or just families in general. The food at breakfast wasn’t very wide a was a boring selection. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience.

Excellent staff… very polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast. This hotel is not high end, but is clean and comfortable.

Facility as per price and can't expect more than this in the heaven like venice with compare to all other hotels. + near to mestre station which is directly connected by train, tram and bus within 10-15 minutes. — sometimes didn't get hot water on time. — you and person next to your room will hear each other's noise.

An average Hotel in Mestre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bus stop is very close. The night area does not become dangerous, but it gives a little bit of fear… what you can find in any city around a train/bus station…

A little old hotel. The pictures that appear correspond to the family rooms and not to the normal ones. The cupboard measures 40 cm wide. There is air conditioning in the rooms, which is appreciated. The breakfast buffet is turkey and salami, biscuits and very good biscuits.
The hotel is 1 min walk from Stop 2 which takes you to Venice and 3 min from the train station. The hotel area at night is not very nice (people who sell drugs and offer non-legal services)

Little room nice and clean very minimal rooms and very old décor, low price but anyway we are below average, you only save the staff.

Friendly staff Breakfast A 5-minute walk from the train station and a 6-minute walk from the Aeroprt shuttle. Its disadvantages are a small bathroom and a sound not perfect rooms but I will come back at if I return to Venice one day.

I’ve never actually written a review on here before but thought I best do just to let people know how awful it is! Firstly the receptionist, what a rude abnoxious tw*t. Not helpful at all and when my fiancé and I complained about the room, he just threw keys at us saying “try this room out then”. Now the first room we were given had mould in every corner and paint chipping off the walls. The floors were absolutely filthy and dusty and then to top it all off the sheets were covered in hair. So good job to the cleaner that literally just cleaned the room! The second room we were given, by the keys being thrown at us, was pretty much the same but with the shower directly over the toilet, so not sure how that works at all? Also to top it all off once we’d left we noticed that we had both been bitten, by what we assume was fleas, all over our legs! So just a heads up to whoever is going to book this hotel don’t!

TINY rooms, mould, rubbish bathroom facilities, poor selection at the bar, some rude staff but one pleasant, no kettle or drink facilities in rooms. Hotel put a downer on the whole holiday. Only good thing is the breakfast which is very good but there isn't hot for breakfast…

Convenient for travelling to Venice, it is an 8-minute walk from Mestre train station. Rooms furniture sometimes too dated and with some detail to be cured better. Good breakfast, strong point: very close to Mestre train station.

Friendly staff, and good breakfast with a good choice. The rooms are small and the bathroom tiny. Good enough for a night or two, but that's it.

The value for money of this hotel is extraordinary. 5 minutes from Mestre train station. Super cheap prices in this area which is so so expensive so being so cheap you expect it to be very cumbersome, and not. They have a small reception where they are very friendly. A receptionist speaks Spanish. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds. Very hot rooms in winter (something that is often missed in the Italian hotels), there is not a noise, the Wi-Fi costs to establish connection but when you take it, it goes phenomenal. If you arrive before the time of the checkin to the hotel, you can leave the suitcases there in a room. The bathroom is very small and with a Venetian shower. Next to the hotel, on Piave Street, for bus 2 to Venice.

Well priced and close to Venice. Small but clean rooms with own bathroom. The breakfast was very good with some fresh pastries… the coffeemaker was broken and the coffee was regular. Otherwise good. Lovely staff.

Very friendly staff and a quaint place to stay. Free Wi-Fi which was a bonus. Very close to Rail station. Clean beds but our room was very small. There is a lift so very helpfully to us.

Rooms are small but nice, beds very soft (back pain). Clean 3/5, very friendly staff. Breakfast OK but coffee ghastly. Wi-Fi is available everywhere and very close to bus station 2 to Venice. Walking 5min to the train station and some nice restos. Great to explore Venice. Come back here.

A really sweet little hotel with very nice staff. The rooms are quite small but still cozy. Breakfast was OK, not outstanding, but for a short trip to Venice quite sufficient. The location is great because of the proximity to bus No. 2, which is 15 minutes from Piazzale Roma, so you can explore the wonderful Venice from here. I would stay again at the hotel Piave.

Simple hotel but very tidy. Air conditioning and heating available. Breakfast very good. Very good location 3 minutes to the bus to Venice.

The staff on the first night did not behave in polite manner at all. Luckily the next nights that gentleman was no longer on duty.

Tiny bathroom with thin walls. You can hear everything from the next room and corridor. And don't expect to be able to use the bathroom comfortably if you are bigger than average. But great choice for breakfast, and the bed is comfortable.

Breakfast is buffet… the rooms are comfortable… but in the hall you will perceive a terrible bad smell.

Good location. Very small and dirty bathroom, the tiles' s grout lines were never cleaned. There was no bath, but only shower with a curtain oround and when having shower the water goes everywhere in the bathroom's floor. There was no fridge and kettle in the room. There was no hot food for breakfast, only boiled eggs, ham and cakes. Overall, we were very disappointed and will no recommend this hotel for my friends.

Good attention. The breakfast we say is OK and the room is not bad staying that there is no shower tray, the tap on the wall directly and you wet it all.

The rooms require some adjustment but the proximity to the station, the quiet street and the great breakfast make the general opinion positive.

Near Mestre train station… Average Hotel… nothing…

I never recommend this hotel to travellers. All members of this hotel are very unkind to guests, particularly Asian people. For example, our group wanted to find our lost things, but table worker ignored our talk. It was very irritating behavior. Also it was very unconfortable for travellers because of their broken Wi-Fi system. We could not use any Wi-Fi so it was very hard for travellers to travel. To sum up, I recommend any other hotels except hotel piave. It. Is the worst hotel I've experienced.

Nice Hotel located 2 minutes from the bus to reach the centre of Venice. (about 10 minutes by bus to Piazzale Roma). The rooms are clean and the breakfast is generous and very good.

Everything in their description is a lie. There is no room service, there is no bath (we specifically asked for a bath and when our room didn't have one the receptionist said only one or two rooms have baths, even though it's stated that the rooms have shower/tub combination, not either/or). Staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. We didn't have hot water for our entire 4 day stay, even though the receptionist said they would fix it on the first day; it was never fixed. We asked multiple times for them to fix it and they just told us to 'run the water for 5 mins' (as if we were idiots). The 'bar' is just reception where you can buy luke warm beers. And the receptionist sold us three beers over about 2 hours and then just decided not to serve us anymore, for no reason whatsoever; we weren't drunk or loud or anything, I think it was just inconvenient for him to have to keep getting beers. The room is tiny and the shower floods the entire room. The hotel is short walking distance from mestre station but when we went to catch the train, every single train was delayed for minimum 1.5hrs, so good luck getting anywhere from here. The area the hotel is in is pretty scuzzy too. The city tax isn't included either, so for the entire price of this hotel it is most certainly not worth it for how pathetic it's amenities are, how rude the staff are and how dodgy of an area it's in. Seriously, stay anywhere else.

Hotel OK a bit of refreshment is required copious breakfast.

Pros: Cheap, clean, polite staff, nice breakfast, good for a 1 nighter. Cons: Rooms — bit too dated, bed was hard, walls were thin — lots of noise from other guests. It's good for a one night but I wouldn't stay for two.

Basic but just what we needed for a quick stay after a long day of travelling. Very useful late check in, and easy access from mestre Station.

Quiet place. The bar leaves to be desired.

Placed in a good location the rooms go to modernized.

A good hotel to stay. Quiet, clean.

Good hotel. Its a 3 star hotel but good value for money. Clean overall and worth the money. Small bedroom but neat and the toilet, sink and shower are all nice. Only one plug socket didn't work but apart from that everything was in working order. The staff have all been very nice and friendly. A decent budget stay. The train station is also very close within a 5 minute walk and also the bus service which can be used to go to Venice.

Very close to the Mestre station. Hotel is just fine for its price. Don't expect too much.

Lousy. We were 3, we had a room with no fridge, no hot water, and the air conditioning not working. We made a claim in respect thereof but they passed the ball between each other. Leaves much to be desired, the shower and the beds. Special mention deserves the Sr bare this during the day. Rude, bad predisposition, irritability, constant. Lousy attention to the passenger. Something good? The breakfast, rich and varied. I don't come back or recommend this place.

Conditions are matching the price and the advertisement of the hotel. Positives: friendly staff, Venice is close Negatives: pure Wi-Fi, small parking place.

I stayed here in mid-February, 2015. I thought it was very good value for the money spent. It is clean, has good (and FREE) Wi-Fi, is close to all sorts of transportation and the staff is helpful and accommodating. There were a variety of people who stayed here, from families to couples and to singles such as myself. They also offered a very good breakfast buffet each morning.

One of the people at the front desk is very nice gentleman. I'm sooooooooo impressed with his manners. But the other man who I saw at first was so rude at me. This hotel was nice overall.

This place is locate right next to the railway station (about 300 mtr) at Mestre. Good rooms, good breakfast and very helpful and cheerful people at the front desk. Excellent connectivity to the airport and venice.
