Location near the train station is great. It's located in a side street, very quiet at night. Rooms/bathroom are nice and clean, 2/3 of the staff speak English, parking is included, inside their property. The neighborhood itself is not great, but you don't stay there to stay in Mestre, just to hop on the train for Venice Islands. Nice stay!

For the price I think it offered good value. Staff was courteous and Wi-Fi speed was excellent.

Very close to the station. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Breakfast included but nothing Special: bread and rusks with Nutella and jam. Very narrow breakfast room. Negative Note: The elevator is missing.

Well located and good service. The room was tinny (x4) and bathroom fine and clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a big house with some renovations. Few rooms which makes it more familiar. The rooms are wider than the average. It is a good alternative to stay in Venice.

Excellent location for visiting Venice from the Mestre train station. The hotel is bad, the staff very courteous, the breakfast better than the expectations but the tables are few, you have to wait for others to end and it is not pleasant.

For those who want to visit Venice is a great low coast choice near the train station every 5 mins to Santa Lucia. About 500 meters on foot. Location Parking available, but be careful if it is full. About 6/7 cars. Inside the hotel and in the neighborhood it seems to be in China.

Comfortable and clean, only few minute from Mestre trains station. The breakfast was good. We must thank the owner for his kindness.

Hotel in a great location, compared to the central train station, but unfortunately located in the area a little dangerous. Because he was frequented by black drug dealers that the police struggled to eradicate. It is bad to write this but it is the reality unfortunately. We found ourselves in the evening quite distressed so much as to take the taxi back to the hotel.

A few steps from the train station, in a few minutes you are in Venice or by train or bus! Considering we only slept there because we were all day in Venice my fiancee and I didn't give too much weight to the fact that water rained in the bathroom from the ceiling!

Clean and neat room as well as bath room. Good breakfast. Easy access to public transportation, market. Moderate price. Single bus trip for visiting Venice, single tram trip for visiting malls. Not so far from Mosque and halal food.

Business stay. Good clean and basic rooms. Breakfast OK I would recommend to change the croissants. Altogether good.

The Hotel is located near the station. This allows you to easily get to Venice. The service is excellent and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Absolutely recommended.

The room was clean and of a modest size, so far ok. Very few outlets for the current, and those present were far from the beds. To dry your hair you'd first be paying someone to blow your hair. Breakfast was very poor, a hot drink, biscuits and croissants. I mean, not much. The receptionist was professional and helpful.

The Hotel Montepiana is a small hotel located in Mestre which is a convenient location for visiting the wonderful city of Venice. The hotel prices are much more reasonable and Venice can be easily accessed by train or bus within 30 minutes or less. The Hotel is located reasonably central to the many restaurants, shops and bars and it is also close to the railway station and also buses to Venice Airport. It is located on a quiet residential area which meant a good nights sleep without outsider noise. It has to be said that this hotel is basic but rooms do have en-suite bathrooms, a colour TV, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi which is not something you always get at 5 star hotels for some reason! There are no meals available but a light continental breakfast is available-this is very basic as per most Italian breakfast offerings outside of the larger hotels but pastries, tea/coffees and juices were offered and breakfast seemed to be included in most of the room rates. The owners, who are welcoming and friendly, actually encouraged us to take breakfast one morning even though we had missed serving times an were on our way out for the day which was a good service. They speak a little English but the night porter-although friendly-spoke next to no English so with our limited Italian checking out early on the last morning to catch a flight and having to pay the bill by card was a little tricky so perhaps best to sort out the check out and billing with the owners during the day.

Highly Recommended: Extremely close to Mestre Stazione; clean; friendly staff; great classic Italian breakfast (don't expect eggs, but plenty of espresso and brioche) ; fair rate/good value.
