Wifi is very rotten and intermittent.
The carpet is very old and a little dirty, the bed is also super difficult to sleep!
Bathrooms are an old-fashioned device for silly eyes. Give two stars because space is okay.

Albatros is a relatively small hotel at Venice that is nice but nothing luxurious or overwhelming, is good for just an overnight visit to sleep and shower, best of all is that is affordable for it's location.

I typically do not review ANYTHING but I just had to for this place! Terrible experience. Luckily I only stayed overnight for a tour I was on (although it seemed like an eternity). The walls are paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING! In the room next to mine, there were people up at 4 am having a full blown conversation (I even had to bang on the wall, but they continued talking) and I could hear everything. The air conditioning in my room was not functioning so it was VERY hot, making it difficult to try going to sleep in the first place, and when I opened the window, the bar across the street was so noisy I had to shut the window. The bathroom and room really disgusted me. Although it seemed somewhat cleaned and decent, I could just feel the filthiness. Try avoiding this place at all cost! Again, I am not one to complain but this was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed at (and I have traveled to MANY places)! Unfortunately I had no option of choosing where to stay because of the tour and would give it 0 stars if I could.

Hotel for groups is still a good choice for area, quality and prices. Average catering. Good at the reception, always helpful and kind.

I would give a 0 star if I can, their hair dryer is probably from the 90s… I felt like pointing a vacuum at my head… their bed cover has a cigarette burned hole. Plus their shower splashed water everywhere!

This is the worst hotel I've ever been in my entire life. Bad service, rude staff, disgusting food and terrible laundry service. They even charge you for the usage of Wi-Fi. Avoid at all costs.

A little old the facilities, but it is clean, the staff is very nice and efficient, they care about helping you and always with a good attitude, they give you the plus, otherwise it is comfortable and practical, plus it has a café bar and a shop in front. Convenience, you can buy something cheap for your excursioones around the city, if you would return.

Accomodation is OK and the location is quiet and served by public transport, though a bit far from the city centre (around two miles). Do avoid the restaurant. It is only suitable for cheap fixed price meals for groups. You will find better option at walking distance, even late at night. Do not trust local that depict the place as a Far West or South Central. Outside the station area and some other destitute areas, you are more likely to be killed by boredom than by a random criminal.

Tiny elevators, tiny showers, dated decor. Only stay there if you really have to.

Very bad experience. There was only internet in the central hall. Lousy experience with an employee (lifter) who gave my daughter a bad time (harassment), rudeness to the complaint no one took responsibility. Never again that place. Away from everything.

One star is too much, no free Wi-Fi, it is extremely dirty, the bathroom in the rooms are a real mess, the breakfast of very poor quality, outdated and old. Not recommended.

I don't advise this hotel for anything. Although the atmosphere can be cozy, the beds are very incomfortable and you have to pay for the Wi-Fi. This hotel does not have 4 stars as it puts.

Furniture is very old, bathrooms are also old and ours smell bad, we asked for a change of room and it was better but still smelled. They charge for Wi-Fi; this is not a 4 star hotel; it's a 2, 3 at most.

Bad hotel. Bugs everywhere, very small rooms (3 beds in a room that clearly only fits 2), broken fridge, broken safe, very few options for breakfast and a woman kept telling us where to sit in a rude manner (sometimes, she'd have us sit with complete strangers to save room even though there were 30 free tables). The maid came into our room 3 times while we were inside and there's no free Wi-Fi. I believe they charge about 2€ for 30 minutes. Very small shower and toilet with cracked lid. The only positive thing I can think of is that the guy at the front desk was the only polite person with a smile. Never coming back here.

Localizado fora de Veneza, em Mestre. Hotel antigo, com poucas tomadas no quarto. Não possui ar condicionado. Elevadores pequenos, mal cabe uma mala de cada vez com duas pessoas junto. Camas desconfortáveis. Box do banheiro muito pequeno, com cortina de tecido que deixa passar a água, que molha todo o chão.

The hallway smells weird, old furnitures, molded shower curtain and they charge €2 every 30 minutes for Wi-Fi.

Tiny rooms with a putrid, nasty smell. I'm not really sure how this hotel is rated 4 stars. All the furniture is super old, and the location isn't great either. It's located in the outskirts of Venice, so there aren't that many restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Strange little place.

Awfully disgusting. NICE staff structure gives you to pull to the floor. Nothing else. Disgust is all that can be said of this place.

At this moment I am in the albatross of Venice, room 112. When I went to bed, I found a cockroach walking through the savannas. Disgusting! In addition they charge the Wi-Fi, 1 hour €5, 10 hours €7, 24 hours €10, I had never happened to have to pay it. But the worst was seeing a cockroach in bed. Disastrous. If I knew how to do it would upload the picture.

It is a hotel across the street so it is quite awkward.

I am going to talk about the room because for me it is almost 100% of a hotel. Food is important but in my case I had no pension full or average and the breakfast was continental. Than normal.
In what refers to the room (where I was) the truth is that if not for the carpet all more or less normal.
The toilet very small (already have put some pictures of the room and the toilet), clean and correct.
The room is very spacious and the bed which is that we ask. A tele in conditions.
With the theme of the Wi-Fi I remember that the first hour is free. But it is that I remember it well. I am sorry.
The truth is that not bad. But beware the star of Italy which has nothing to do with the Spain.

At the hotel there are plenty 3 star. The bathroom is surreal. There is a sign that says "call for help" and a kind of hole in the wall. The cistern was of the shooting by a chain, but the chain have replaced it by a button on the wall. The shower was a kind of dish made from tiles with a small drop, to the shower the water came up to the door.
We had to spend two nights in this hotel, we were in Group (tour).
The treatment of the receptionists and staff was very good.
He would not return or recommend it.

Worst hotel I've ever been in. The rooms are tiny, the beds are not made for adults. There is exactly one electrical outlet in the whole room and it's used by the TV (0 English channels), so I unplugged it to charge my phone. The Wi-Fi costs 3€ per hour. Overall, terrible experience. Will not return or recommend.
