Very shabby hotel. Rooms are not well maintained. Staff is very unhelpful. They don’t even have a free shuttle to anywhere. Restaurant staff did not even know that a child eats free in Holiday Inn when parents buy a meal. Absolutely unacceptable!

Breakfast choices are not much, no fridge in room, aircond not cold, no amenities, no coffee/tea and water boiler in room which I think a 4 star hotel must provide.

Traveling as a married couple to this holiday inn was great, the room was large, the bed was large (and it was softer than most of the places you will stay at) the bathroom was tiny and had an actual bath (but it was a little awkward because there was no curtain to block the water from going on the floor). The only disappointment in my opinion is the lack of a fridge in the room, and the breakfast was terrible. The eggs were plasticy, the milk had gone sour, the chocolate milk was water with weak chocolate flavoring and the only redeeming item that was good was the blueberry yogurt. The Wi-Fi works, the plugs are limited, but it was an overall nice stay.

Hotel is located on the roundabout, but from behind you are immediately in Marghera. Staff very nice, always all helpful. The hotel's restaurant is also great, I also recommend you go to the bar where I think there is the most capable bartender in Italy, friendly and always with a smile with an impressive ability to sell. Highly recommended hotels.

Very lovely staff. Great location near the airport. Would reccomend to anyone needing a quick stay.

We are traveling with Star Tours and most of the times we are staying in Holiday Inn. I find these hotels to be generally good.

NO FRIDGE in the room. Generally is an old hotel which need repairs and refurbishment. No walking distance to the city center, there is a nice restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast is typical. In the same cost you can find better hotels in the area.

Nice hotel, but do not make the mistake I made… when I read there was a shuttle, I booked this hotel, thinking it was a shuttle to the airport. No, it is a shuttle to the island of Venice. A taxi to the airport cost 48 Euro, which included 3.60 Euro each for 2 pieces of luggage. The pizza we had in the restaurant, was one of the best pizzas we have eaten. Large, and enough left over for breakfast! I would give it another star, just that our adjoining door to the next room was not sound proof enough for 2 very noisy children until 11pm!

Old and dated hotel, staff at reception that looks worse than that easy jet, parking 10 euros, shuttle for 8 km 9 euros per person, breakfast 13 per person. I mean, if I slept at the big hotel, I'd save money. Unpleasant and grumpy room staff. I didn't dare eat at the restaurant…
It's the first time in my whole life that they ask me to pay for hotel parking, it's not to holiday inn.

Our stay in June 2018 was fantastic at this hotel. Luca was amazing and so helpful and professional. In fact all the staff were great. The carpet could use a good cleaning. Beakfast was awesome. Used the shuttle service everday — great and always on time. We will be back.

Old hotel. Small room with a strong smell of dust. Even the bathroom leaves something to be desired. I was a guest obliged for one night following the cancellation of my flight departing from Venice. If possible choose some other structure in the area.

Me and my wife stayed one night in this hotel. It was a free stay reward night so breakfast was not included! We paid €10.5 for single breakfast entry which was a good value. We also used the shuttle bus to Venice €9 round trip. I don't know why the bathtub has a rod but no curtain! this is the second Holiday Inn in Italy with the same strange shower setup which makes the floor wet and slippery. No ice machine was available so we had to knock on the doors of bar and restaurant and beg for ice … not nice. Everything else was good.

A decent sized room, beds comfortable. Shower doesn't have much of a barrier and when I originally turned it on sprayed water everywhere. Once I'd worked it out it was a good pressure and temperature. Buffet Breakfast was OK, as expected for this kind of hotel — meaning over priced for what it was.

It is a very nice and comfortable hotel. Very good attention. It is not expensive and easy to access. They have shuttle service to Venice. It is 15 minutes from the square where several bus lines come out.

Nice place to stay, though its little far from city however the peace and friendly staff made the stay delightful.

Apart from the exit from the parking lot directly in a roundabout with risk of accident every time, average hotel with quite comfortable rooms and breakfast average. The breakfast room is a little small compared to the guests. Parking is payable.

Disappointing for a holiday inn. Poor room content, no refrigerator a very poor bathroom with cracked and broken tiles and poor water draining. Poor sound proofing and generally very basic Somewhat surprised by the poor standards.

The hotel does not provide Air Conditioner due to the weather is NOT suitable for using Air Conditioner, and just give advise to our group (which occupied for 10 rooms) to open the window. Not recommended for staying here at 'this weather'. Oh this is the picture of the window. Quite big, but since we are located in the first floor, it can be easily sneaked in by other people. Thank you Holiday Inn for giving us an incovenient stay.

The horrible beds, when you lie down you feel the springs clavandose in your body. The bathroom with mold and broken curtains. If you come to Venice Evitenlo.

I was at an even uninteresting meeting, my husband and I went with 2 machines straight from work and we had to pay €6 parking for staying less than an hour! Absurd!

Very clean and convenient. However, it you are planning on going to Venice, I'd recommend staying in Venice itself and save the travel time from the hotel to the island.

The hotel was very well located and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The TV programme is aimed at Italian guests and the whole house smells of air freshener. The breakfast is very simple but sufficient.

This hotel is too far from all the attractions, the rooms are cramped and dark. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Ask before taking a tour as most hotels are bad.

Meet the expectations for a night in the middle of a tour. It is away from the city of Venice. The rooms are well maintained. The cleaning service was reasonable. The breakfast service was adequate. Friendly staff.

Very nice hotel. We booked 4 double rooms with IHG points and the staff were very helpful during check-in to make sure our rooms fit our large group. The breakfast (€10.50 if requested in advance) was very good and caters to both American and European taste. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bus stop is a short walk away and goes to/from Venice. Walk to the Mestre train station is long but very doable.

The rooms are comfortable and good beds. It's a good toilet. The old towels and the dryer very weak. Breakfast can improve a lot.

Friendly staff, English speaking. Beautiful property. Entrance is through the gas station in the roundabout, which was confusing. A little far from the airport, if that's what you need, but manageable with a car, no problem.

A good option to stay outside from the main Venice attractions, if hotels are too expensive. Staff is very friendly, beds are comfy, but it is a little run down. Shuttle bus to Venice provided, taxi to the train station about 30 Euro. Only negative — the other guests made so much noise in the hallways, so sleep was almost impossible. But that's not the hotel's fault.

I'm very upset. The people who serve you are despots. In the restaurant those in charge at breakfast and dinner always very bad character. At breakfast we arrived 5 min. Before it was marked on the blackboard he pulled us out and locked the door. The rooms had mushrooms on the tapestry of the walls. The extracts from the bathrooms were not serving. I do not recommend.

Friendly staff, but in my opinion the 4 stars are a bit generous. Good level cleanliness, well equipped the gym, very pleasant also the surrounding garden. The restaurant is unique and jarring. Excellent menu, but they are not minimally organized for the management of the meal of an infant. You can't heat even a meal ready.

Hotel is acceptable for a short stay in Venice. Rooms are kind of old, but everything is clean and the staff is really friendly. The hotel shuttle to Venice is great, which I definitely recommend. It's just 9€ for the round trip.

Had a comfortable two nights stay at the hotel. Room offered all the amenities of a 4 star hotel and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. You can get bus and tram tickets at the front desk as well. There is a walk for 15-20 minutes to the nearest bus stop from where you can get a bus to St. Lucia.

The breakfast is poor and if you arrive late they do not repose. Poor staff. The rooms are fine.

Just a suggestion for breakfast: The orange juice cut has water is horrible… of 100% pure juice would not have been refused!

The door of our bathroom was not barred. The room was clean, and the staff was nice and helped me a lot.

The food was amazing, the service was excellent. We had an early flight and the restaurant manager made prepared some snacks for us the night before, as we wouldn't catch the breakfast.

At reception good reception, restaurant to avoid, room dirty and miserable; breakfast not bad but not over the top. Good parking and monitored.

Just bad! Stinks of Deratization, rooms are musty and dirty. Sanitäteranlagen partially broken. Shower, toilet, and other noises of the neighborhood to be heard clearly. Operation unfriendly. The Shuttle to Venice a lie. Tickets for the public funds, as a substitute, not even in stock! At least there is a roof over your head.

An excellent hotel at March 2012 was one night with all my family, one day return and go me some nights, with the blessing of God, which I have planned a trip for 2016, all good price attention power rating 10/10 rooms.

The hotel gave 30 minutes free Wifi since you login, then you should pay for the extra time; the elevators aren't enough for the turists and their bags.

For a 4 star hotel, is a disappointment. Unless you get a chicken to fry I would avoid. 88 euros paid nor the AC in the room. Outside 20 degrees, in 28, all night with the window ajar and cold busted.
Good breakfasts, abundant and international. Mr. Franco is very personable. So isolated and poorly serviced by public transport. Translated, to move you have to have a nice portfolio. 25 euros in a taxi for 4 km. We are at 20 April, what will happen in August.

Am I in Paris or Italy? Not unfamiliar with service in Italy, my family lived here for 4 years. This was very uncharacteristic. I've never been to a hotel where people are ruder. The receptionist and the waitstaff go out of there way to be impolite. Ive never bothered to write a review before, but the service was so offputting that I had to. This is a four star hotel, and for the money you pay its outrageous to be mistreated the way you are guaranteed to be served here. Book somewhere else. These other reviews have been written by the hotel obviously.
