Ok time for some home truths about this hotel. I don’t normally do reviews but to help others I felt the need to do one to avoid disappointment for other guests. This is an honest intake on this hotel. By no shape or form is this a 4 star hotel by UK standards. The service and rooms are very bad. First of all be prepared to pay and extra 10€ on arrival for the golf buggy to take your bags to Apollon or the main hotel. Strangely enough this costed us 13€ on the way back. I find it disgusting that the hotel doesn’t provide this for the initial visit. Not great a first impression. Once arrived we were greeted by the most uninthuiastuc woman I’ve ever come across! Get her off reception! (She’s short, black hair and has glasses). She gave us no information regarding anything, we got more from actual guests of the hotel. The rooms are incredibly dated. The bathrooms are small, smell and are dirty. (See pic) our room 305 had no hot water for 2 days and the shower head broke when they finally fixed it. We gave up asking after a while and just lived with it. Breakfast is… ok, small selection and a bit boring after a while The view and location are amazing though and the pizzas are among the best I’ve ever eaten. However Apollon, why call yourself a pizza restaurant when you don’t provide this in the evenings? Madness. Leave the A'la Carte Menu to the main hotel and make your restaurant more casual. Why do exactly the same menus?
