I highly recommend this small hotel full of charm with a very welcoming and helpful staff. If we go back to Modena it is sure this is where we will come.

It's the first time I go to this hotel, I was welcomed by Luca and Lidia, I immediately felt at home. They offered me coffee and a bottle of fresh water. Very romantic, clean environment. Great breakfast. Room with everything you need, bed very comfortable clean linen all over the Top! I forgot very much central; definitely a comedigo❤

My daughter and I stayed at this charming small hotel for one night. Economy single rooms quite adequate and spotlessly clean. Management friendly, helpful and informative. Excellent breakfast. Hotel so close to centre of Modena. Highly recommended.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in the center of old Modena. PErfect location, perfect hosts, perfect rooms for an authentic Italian experience.

Taking advantage of events in the city, we were given a room on the 2nd floor (Attic) without elevator, at 145 euros per night, without closet, bidet-free bathroom (without warning) with light decentrated to the mirror and without hairdryer, washbasin 40x30 cm and shower cubicle 60x60 cm, Room without closet (an infix pole in the wall) despite the space allowed, without mirrors in the room, curtain hanging from the window straight from rings from Keychain… So many decors here and there without utility.

It was a very nice hotel. Staff. Garage fee, no elevator.

An Excellent Boutique Hotel! Worth to visit! Is all about the details, hidden in every corner. Rooms with identity, artistic atmosphere, authentic style that captures the eye. Comfortable and extremely clean! Highly recommended!

Maybe one of the best 3 star hotels you can find in Italy. You can see how much love an effort they put into making it a comfortable place for it's guests. This is the maximum of what a 3 star hotel can offer. And of course: location is perfect, breakfast is great and staff is very nice.

Why would someone use a dark decor with dimmed yellow lights for an hotel; a dark and small lobby looking like a church, closed windows, all lights put off and one receptionist to welcome you. The first impression was bizarre and continued throughout the stay. Hotel Cervetta 5 is located in the heart of Modena’s old town few meters from the main Duomo and has a parking for your car located next door; the only two positive things I found. I’ll go straight to the point and list what won’t make me come back to this hotel: — The place is dark and claustrophobic. — Check-in and expect to start climbing the stairs; the hotel has no elevator and no one to help with the luggage. — Rooms are small. — The toilet door is nothing other than a wooden board not even blocking light and odors from the bathroom. — The bed is so hard you’ll wake up with a backache if you could sleep. — The Internet is very slow. I climbed the stairs and arrived to my room; a very bizarre room, the strangest decor I’ve seen, white inside out, clothes and fabrics, a tiny little computer screen used as a television and a bathroom with a strange wooden door. Two crystal chandeliers pending from the ceiling make the space look like a scary movie. A tight shower, a small bathroom, that unpleasant door and now was sleep time! Harder than the floor itself, I couldn’t sleep all night waking up by the hour.

Cozy and cared for. Suitable both for a stopover for work and for a holiday weekend.

In the heart of Modena, a hotel catered to a thousand wonders by a staff who understands that you only need a friendly smile to win a new customer. Luca and his partner Stefania (from whom the concept of the place arises) are in front of Cervetta 5 and Amen so. There was not a detail that they did not strive to attend, besides listening attentively to the bad jokes.
A decoration of excellent taste full of interesting objects, handwritten quotations in several languages (to remind you of the relax that accompanies the stay), divine aromas when returning to the room, correct and cosy lighting are some of the details that do not They let them escape.
The breakfast, unpretentious, but just to start a day on foot for the wonderful city; Eye do not get confused, is very good choice with a rich coffee, fruit, sweet, cereal, fruit, tea, cold cuts of the area, etc.
The parking is cancelled separately and is really the best investment that is made, because once you leave the car there, you only have to walk 20 steps and you will be in the Piazza del Duomo and a little further you will find the old market Albinelli.
You will be "one step" from all of Modena, in truth it is a strategic and cozy place, it is from now on our favorite and fixed place for our return to so magical place.

Superb boutique hotel in centre of lovely overlooked Italian City famous for balsamic vinegar and Ferrari cars! Great venue in its own right as very stylish shops and bars in easily walkable centre with easy parking on perimeter. Hotel is beautifully appointed, cosy, intimate atmosphere and the included breakfast is a work of art! great for short romantic break.

This hotel is located at the city center of Modena, Italy. Very close to Piazza Grande but very comfortable and cozy. It has a very nice and healthy breakfast.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying here in a renovated room. The decor is charming and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We don't speak Italian but they patiently explained everything to us in English. They gave us several thoughtful recommendations of restaurants and bars nearby — which we tried and loved. The breakfast (included with the room) was great. The location is also perfect, right in the middle of town. We loved Modena and would definitely stay here if we come back.

Hotel Cervetta 5 in Modena is in an excellent location in the heart of Modena, very close to the central square and the Albinelli market. It has a private garage for guest cars if you make a reservation for it, and they will also setup your car to be able to enter the ZTL (Zone of Limited Traffic). The room was more than large enough for 2 people with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was very nice although with limited space to put things. There was an adequate closet, and the Wi-Fi internet was excellent, but while the room did cool enough it wasn't as cold as I like it. The hotel has an excellent free breakfast with plenty of options and usually enough seats. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but with all the fabulous options nearby that is not an issue, and they will also make great personal recommendations. The service was always excellent, and I would highly recommend the hotel overall — it had a really nice bed and breakfast type of vibe.

Lovely little hotel in the center of Modena, we had room 105 and it was huge. Room was clean with amazing decor.

Lovely place and great stay! Just in the heart of city this amazing location make me relaxed and warmly wrapped, all the room are lovely furnished with a mix of design and a soft touch of glam. Luca show me all the service of the hotel and clear kind and precise during the description of all the sight and seen of the city. Great stay and I'll choose again this amazing location and hope to back soon.

My wife and I (mid 50s) were driving to Crete this summer and stopped overnight in Modena. We had not been to the city before and just headed for the centre. We parked our car and walked down the road looking for a hotel and a coffee. By chance we happened upon Cervetta 5 and were lucky enough to have the balcony room and the opportunity to park our car in their garage. Not only was our car lucky but we were. A quiet comfortable and welcoming hotel. We will definitely return. And a great location to wander around the city and (foregoing the hotel breakfast) we found Pavarotti's cafe of choice just around the corner. A great breakfast.
