B&b Igea 50

We stayed at this amazing b&b for four nights as a base to tour the area (Bologna, Modena, Verona). We enjoyed an exceptional hospitality, cozy places that makes you feel at home, delicious home made with many options for breakfast. Above all, lovely couple that goes above and beyond to make at home. They give great tips for the region, restaurants, ice cream, activities, etc.

This is a great place to stay if you are heading to the Modena area. It is situated a little outside of the city, but for us this was not a negative. It’s a great quiet place with the nicest hosts! Gianna (my new Nonna G 😊) and her husband really do treat you like family, she even made us a reservation for dinner at one of her favorite restaurants. Thanks for a great stay, it was much too short and we will be back again!

Gianna and Giuliano were beyond helpful and inviting. Gianna gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner and even made restaurant reservations for us. She shared helpful information about the area, places to visit and specialties of the area. Her home was spotless and her breakfasts were unbelievable. She had nine homemade cakes/tortes. She also had homemade preserves, bread, fresh fruit and eggs. We had a wonderful stay!

Very nice and friendly. Gianna and Giuliano are great hosts, they treat you like as if you are their family, feels like visiting your grandparents.
Definitely worth the visit.

We stayed 2 nights and we were amazed by the quality of this residence. The service is very kind and very favourable. The breakfast is mostly selfmade and very yummy.

Lovely quaint B&B. Giuliano and Gianna were very accommodating and welcomed us like family. The room was immaculate, and with every amenity you could need. The breakfast was amazing as well. I would highly recommend it!

My son stayed at BB Igea 50 a few years ago, and he raved about his experience and the lovely couple that ran the B&B. We wanted to go back with him to see his "Italian grandparents"! The B&B is really lovely. It is spacious and quiet. The train station is a 5-minute walk away. The spread of food that Gianna puts out in the morning puts any 5-star bakery to shame — she makes the most extraordinary breads, cakes, jams, fruit, etc. Gianna and Juliano are incredibly kind people, and staying with them made it feel like we were staying with relatives. We had an incredible time in Modena and were very sad to say goodbye to Gianna and Juliano. If you are anywhere near Modena, this is the place to stay!

Absolutely the bed b &b we have ever stayed at. So clean and tidy, the breakfast is like nothing you have experienced. All the cakes are homemade to family recipes, fresh fruit, meats, breads, cheeses, yoghurt, homemade jams. Fresh coffee Gianni and her husband are very welcoming and just want everything to be perfect. Not too far out of Modena and a great place to explore Ferrari, Pagani, Maserati, and Lambergini amongst other car manufacturers. Don't forget to visit a Balsamic and parmesan place too.

The owners are very friendly people, very helpful. The apartment is very clean and nice decorated, nice beds and bathroom. The breakfast is excellent with only fresh foods, juices and the owners baked all the pies themselves. Just perfect! Many thanks for our very pleasant stay.

The room was excellent, with private parking. The hosts are very kind, but the greatest surprise was the breakfast: at least 8 different cakes & pies, all home made! I tasted 5 of them and I can't tell which was the best!

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Tuscany. This is a lovely B&B near the center of Modena. There are a number of restaurants nearby. The B&B is very lovely, clean and well done. There is gated parking in the rear, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is the best I have had at a B&B. Everything is homemade by Gianna and tastes wonderful. She was a great host who was very nice and wanting to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Gianna and her husband were excellent hosts. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The living room was comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was extraordinary. Gianna bakes all the pastries and breads and they were outstanding. She truly cares about the food she prepares and gives to her guests. Gianna is the true Italian Nonna!

It’s a small B&B with big rooms and perfect beds.
Everything is very clean and they have the best breakfast!
Free privat parking.
I can recommand everyone to go to this B&B.
