It was possible to publish a review to zero stars I would, at least on the top floor I found a hovel: mould in the bathroom; the walls of the room blurred by insects and other; clean floor in any way. I want to clarify that I am not a person squeamish, or that you have a problem of any kind.

L oste è stato molto cortese e disponibile. L'albergo è in una zona abbastanza centrale. La mia camera (quella piccola) era al quarto piano con balcone e quindi vista panoramica. L'unica pecca è la qualità del bagno, dove la doccia non aveva un vero e proprio piatto e I sanitari dovrebbero essere cambiati. In conclusione consiglio questo albergo.

Of course beautiful from the outside, but go take a look inside, it has absolutely stunning ceilings in many rooms and a nice little outside upper deck with trees.

This was my favorite thing to visit in Ferrara and is worth seeing. Unfortunately, some of the castle's frescoes were damaged (in an earthquake some years ago if I understood correctly), which was disappointing. There's some good displays and lots of interesting information (I especially loved the explanations about cookbook and dinner-party culture).

The symbol of the city. A true medieval wonder. Just walk around it or take the full tour, both are worth your time and money. It often hosts exhibitions which gives one reason more to visit the inside. Everything is well conserved.

Since the castle is a UNESCO site, there's going to be something stand-out about it. The initial rooms do a good job of explaining the role the del'Est family played in the Renaissance mindset. Walking through the rest of the castle shows the elegance throughout the years, as well as how it changed. Beautiful ceiling paintings, so make sure you pay attention to those.
