Staff all over the hotel are super helpful, the place is well decorated and traditionally classy plus it has amazing views.

Beautiful views and generous terraces. We love the location so close to the Piazza. The staff goes overboard to make us feel welcome and special. The breakfast spread is amazing and the cappuccino is the best in the world. I am still dreaming about it. High recommend. I give this hotel 5

I stayed in summer 2016 at this very central hotel in fabulous Capri.
The property is clean and welcoming, and has an outdoor pool. As soon as we arrived we were accommodated in a room that was not quite the best in "beauty", but just communicated in reception immediately they changed room and gave us a much better room! So to conclude, they were able to solve a problem immediately and also have affordable prices (for Capri)!
Recommended, a great holiday!

I came back to this hotel after 2 years and found it much improved… even richer breakfast and always clean rooms.
I also report the infinite GENTILEZZA of the waiter FRANCESCO, a person too helpful is always friendly and smiling!

My wife and I have just returned from our 26th holiday on the beautiful island of Capri and, as on every occasion, we stayed at the Hotel La Residenza; we would never stay anywhere else.
A beautiful hotel and fabulous location with astonishing views of the Faraglioni, but the most wonderful part about the whole experience is the people. Too many to mention by name Individually, but we both have long regarded everyone at the hotel as very close friends and we are always humbled by the welcome and friendship we receive on each and every visit.
It is always sad to leave and we are already looking forward to our next visit next year. Thank you to all our dear friends at La Residenza.

The hotel has a beautiful view and wonderful location. The Wifi is not always the best.

First time staying in Capri. The staff was excellent and the room very well done and clean. The shower is very small and if you're a bit rotund or tall the difficulty to washing is going to be apparent. However all the other benefits and view outweigh the small shower. We stayed as part of a tour group and I assume the rate is fair.

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the view, which was great. However, every other aspect of our stay here was miserable. Couldn’t pay me to stay here again. The worst part of our stay was the noise —Walls are so thin that I couldn’t get any sleep. Could literally hear the guy in the room next door snoring all night, people upstairs moving chairs around and could also hear conversations through the walls. The bed was a California queen (two single beds put together) that was very uncomfortable. Paper thin sheets and no comforter. Breakfast was eh… everything left out uncovered and lukewarm. Had an ant invasion on our balcony. Staff sprayed all the ants, but left the dead ants on the balcony. People upstairs smoking cigs and throwing butts down to our balcony. Cleaning staff gave one knock and barged in the room at 9:15 when I was still in bed trying to actually catch some sleep. Had to carry my bags up to the room (not that I’m stuck up and can’t do it myself, but if I’m paying as much as I am for the room And the hotel touts itself as being a 4 star hotel I would expect someone to assist with our luggage like any other decent hotel). No key card, just a 5 pound block of steel w a key attached to it you have to lug around. Not sure how this is showing up as a 4 star hotel— other than the view I have nothing positive to say about this place. I have stayed in grimy motels in the middle of nowhere in the US that were more enjoyable than this experience.

I stayed at La Residenza for business but I would choose it for a vacation as well. The hotel is located off a quiet street in Capri but a short walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms were bright, clean and comfortable with a gorgeous terrace for sipping espresso and enjoying the magnificent view. Staff is attentive and friendly and speak English well. I will recommend this hotel to many of my clients.

I have been to this hotel already in 2003. I was hoping they made some improvements, so I don't think so. Definitely clean and tidy, breakfast is plentiful. The rooms are the same as 15 years ago: I was hoping for a renovation. My room is a single quite cramped. Very close to the square.

Cramped rooms, though graded de-lux. Comfortable in the bathroom. Great view. Very bad value for money.

So to conclude, they were able to solve a problem immediately and also have affordable prices (for CAPRI)!

This was a beautifull hotel in Capri. We enjoyed our stay there very much! We had a gorgeous view of the Bay from our room!

A residence immersed in peace in Capri in the heart of the city, 10 minutes from the famous "Piazzetta"!

Nice spacious rooms and good breakfast.

The entire place was out of date and truly dirty /nasty, our room smelled like a locker room, bathroom and room where run down and stains everywhere. Found a dead bat in the pool, the Furinture, sheets and towels where stained and used and abused. Lounge chairs in the pool area covered with stains and ripped Cushions. One of the nastiest place I have stayed in. Shower Curtin had a blood stains and found other people's hair all over the bathroom. Our room safe was busted, tiles through the place where crack busted. The place is in total disrepair and can't believe how misleading the online pictures and reviews. Breakfast not good terrible. However the staff was friendly and really helpful.

Fabulous place. The staff is professional and always nice, the room was clean and bright. It is possible to ask for a room with a view of the "faraglioni", which will make your day every time you look outside of the window. Amazing buffet breakfast with both savory and sweet things. In particular, they have special sweets from their area, which are delicious.

The waiter was very kind, except for the old equipment, the room was good as a whole and it was very nice to live in a room with sea view. But the next day the room cleaning staff is very impolite, obviously we are still in the room but Sampans to open the door in preparation for cleaning.

Hotel itself is great and cute. The food for breakfast however is easily the worst I've ever had at a hotel in my life. It made McDonald's look gourmet.

Capri feeeling at its finest. Sweet place with authentic interieur and great ocean view.

This is a happy place to stay. It doesn't have as much charm as some of the other Capri hotels but it is also more affordable. We loved the pool and the rooms were quite satisfying. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great location minutes away from the piazza and via camarelle.

Lovely foyer but rooms did not live up to expectations. Very, very tiny shower. No view.

Hotel was very nice. The property seemed very nicely kept. The rooms were very clean… Maybe a bit dated. As Americans, we are used to having wash clothes to do things like wash our faces. None of the hotels we have stayed in offer these so bring a disposable pack of makeup remover.

Excellent service in a beautiful building, staff are extremely helpful, food is top notch, hotel is very clean and in a gorgeous location close to the centre piazzeta, will definitely return and recommend.
