On 27/08/2021 a dear friend of mine got married, I was one of her bridesmaids, as soon as we arrived at the hotel I immediately found kindness, education and professionalism. Aperitifs and lunch really good quality, impeccable service, I was pleasantly impressed. Congratulations to the owner and her staff, it was a beautiful wedding from all points of view.
I recommend this property to everyone, the sea view is breathtaking and there was nothing to complain about, everything perfect from start to finish!

Just returned home from spending 7 days in this marvellous 4star hotel. The hotel was just amazing with stunning views over looking the Bay of Naples. Every member of staff makes you feel very welcome. I was really impressed with the waiters serving breakfast and evening dinner, they were very professional, the food was delicious with excellent presentation. We loved the private sunbathing decking area. I would definitely recommend this superb hotel and will be returning to the Grand Hotel Rivera. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I spent 9 days at the Grand Hotel Riviera on my honeymoon and LOVED it! The hotel exudes luxury, class and elegance. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous marble foyer, and stunning views from the restaurant, bar and balcony over the ocean and with Mount Vesuvius in the background. I stayed in a front sea view room and loved watching the sunset from our balcony. The room was large, well decorated and gave a very luxurious feeling. It was a nice quiet room and romantic atmosphere. The "private beach" was what made the Riviera a COMPLETE stand out! Wow, just wow! There is an elevator leading down to a large promenade, where you could soak up the sun, have drinks and snacks served to you, and take a dip in the ocean. Not all hotels in Sorrento have beach access and it is definitely worth staying at the Riviera if you love swimming! I didn't even need to try the large pool because the beach was so, so good! The included buffet breakfast was a complete treat. There was a huge selection of food and drinks to choose from including sparkling wine, and a chef cooking eggs to order. The coffee was great and the staff were very attentive to ensure all the breakfast tables had fresh linen after every use. The staff were dressed in suits and were very professional and friendly. We only ate in the restaurant one night but it was delicious! The bar has a great cocktail selection. There was no better place to drink a margarita and watch the sunset over Mount Vesuvius.

We spent a week here and loved it. Spectacular views from room and cocktail bar. Fabulous swim deck. Restaurant was fab though we only eat in it twice. Lamb so good had it twice. Staff were delightful. Very helpful and very cheerful. A delight. Only minor complaint is the morning coffee was awful.

Its hard to say anything else about such a superb hotel. The staff are brilliant, and attentive. Every where is immaculately clean. The food is delious, bar staff polite and accommodating. Such a fabulous place our second stay and will be making it our first choice always.

Hotels near the centre of Sorrento and with beautiful views of the Gulf of Naples. Large and comfortable common spaces. The private beach is a foza point. Even A la carte Restaurant is remarkable. It is worth taking the room with a sea view.

Recently stayed in the Hotel Riviera; our second time. This hotel is excellent in every aspect. The location (about 10 minute stroll from Sorrento town centre) offers stunning views across the bay and the rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. All of the staff from reception to the cleaning staff and restaurant team are friendly, helpful and extremely professional. The food is fantastic, particularly on the Tuesday when they provided a gala buffet. We would definitely return and would (and have) recommend it.

We returned yesterday after a week-long stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are superb, the décor at the top, the layout impeccable and the service very neat. The evening menu offers a choice of 6 starters and 6 dishes and everything is delicious. Breakfast on the terrace is a treat for the eyes and taste buds. All the staff are attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and every holidaymaker is greeted with a smile, all Italian class. A must-recommend is absolute perfection. We love.

Fantastic place to stay in Sorrento, and all the staff very helpful even down to sorting out food for my wife who is gluten free.

This place is absolutely heavenly. Staff: amazing. Scenery: amazing. Food: amazing. Service: amazing. If you're considering coming to Sorrento, then make the effort to stay here. We came for one night but wished we'd stayed for seven.

The Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento. I don't know where to start. Myself and my wife had the best experience of our lives on our 7 night stay in the end of May. The hotel is fantastic. Situated on the cliff top overlooking the sea with a private lift taking you down to the hotel's private bathing area. The staff are the best. Always friendly and genuinely pleased to help. The food is simply the best I have ever eaten. The only thing we didn't like was we had to come home!

We stayed April 22-24, 2018. I have traveled a great deal and stayed in many, many hotels (as has my husband and our four traveling companions) — this hotel is on my list as one of the top three of my lifetime! The quality of the room, the bar and restaurant, the overall cleanliness of the entire property were all exceptional.
The concierge service was extraordinary… we adored Gianni!
And the view… breathtaking, spectacular, overwhelming!
WE WILL BE BACK!

Amazing hotel not too far from the centre. Clean rooms, definitely recommend the sea view, well worth the extra. Can’t wait to come again. Breakfast was very good too. Drinks at the bar are pricey but definitely worth the extra to sit and watch the sunset.

I went to this wonderful Hotel, to view it on the occasion of my wedding.
Very large and well cared for, it has a spectacular terrace that from all over the Sorrentine coast, really breathtaking.
Friendly staff, especially the owner who hosted us making us feel at home.
I do not know if I will organize my wedding in this place, given the remoteness of all the guests, but I recommend it to everyone, surely I will go to spend a few weekends.
The only drawback is not as central as other hotels, but you have to spend a pleasant walk.

Just had a week in this fabulous hotel. Without doubt the best Hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything about it is perfect, the staff, the food, the location etc. The brochure does say it's a 15 minute walk to the main centre. That's only half true, it's a 15 minute walk if you are a teenager and and very fit. But if you are in your 70's like we are 30-40 minutes would be more truthful and it's mostly flat a couple of short inclines but nothing too serious. The views from the hotel terrace looking out over the bay of Naples are fantastic. No words can explain the sunsets, that can only be done with the naked eye. We have talked our children into coming with us next year to experience what we have already have.

A quiet Hotel, the appointment with the rest assured! With small children, babies CA could go… there is nothing for children better to Absetenir! For a period of 2Semaines we were going to enjoy the "restaurants" a wish at lunchtime, we had a formula "half board"…
Surprise, menu every day a la carte, cheese and desserts (big trolley) rolling… In short no need to move, the calm, the Sommelier super, the hearty menus services like at home and two passages, fine cuisine our criterion holiday (good eating) stay at the table " Cool "!
The small morning — same breakfast very well served at the table as many times as we wanted!
Forget the lunches, we discovered the places, CAPRI, it must be said that the Hotel offait a splendid Panorama. Great location

We took the cheapest room, wanting the right hotel, and the room was fine but not spectacular. Everything else was. Views at breakfast amazing, food (and wine) at breakfast very good (only thing is the long coffee; either kept hot to long or poor coffee; have espresso), although they don't guarantee a view of a tall ship like we got. Good, personal service, all facilities good. Do take a snorkel: I was the only one but the fish are amazing. So many of them. Look out for well-camouflaged flatfish.

We just finished our week of vacation the hotel is nice comfortable and the food great (although some other variant would be there) the sea beautiful and the evening after dinner a nice walk to get to the very nice little square of the village. I highly recommend.

Beautiful view from room, pool, beach and breakfast. Very clean although we had a slight issue with losing power twice but the staff was attentive and took care of the problem immediately. Very clean, staff pleasant and helpful. Would recommend and definitely will be back!

The staff are absolutely outstanding. Our room has a sea view which is beautiful, the room is very spacious and well appointed. The beds are firm but comfy, but the pillows could stand to be a bit softer. The restaurant's food is delicious and there's a great bar overlooking the water. The private beach is beautiful, the water is so clear and lovely. It's about a 10 minute walk to the shops, which is fine. It's a wonderful hotel, I'd definitely come back.
