We were well welcome all good kitchen excellent room always clean pool always clean no crowding. The boys of the bar the waiters always ready all the staff a relax great food all good 👏

Well ok not outstanding, with all things considered, the rooms are nice and comfortable, very clean and quiet, the staff do a amazing job, faultless, considering their are so understaffed, yes food can be a little repetitive it's up to you to mix it up so no complaints from us or eat out after all the cost of staying here is not expensive at all.

The hotel and staff are very nice. Good size room and large balcony, tho not the best of views. Because of the pandemic the choice of food was limited (not a criticism) but I did get fed up with pizza, chips or past. On a whole we had a good time. The sun shone and the beer flowed.

The hotel is situated just outside of Sorento main town center, with a beautiful garden and within walking distance of local Bars, Restaurants
The receptionists are extremely professional and helpful, always acknowledging you with a smile
Breakfast is not a self-service and masks are required throughout the hotel, once seated the waiter was extremely charming professional and helpful.
There is a vast variety of things to choose from.
One down fall was that one tall elderly waiter (Luka) who's attitude and approach to service made you feel extremely uncomfortable.
He was very abrupt and throughout any service you definitely felt that you're not welcome.
It was sad that a person like this let the rest of the hardworking and very friendly team of staff down. Would we return again most definitely to Sorento

We stayed here for our honeymoon for 5 days really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming worked extremely hard to make sure all the guests had a great stay. Particularly the bar and waiting staff who were very attentive and did not rush us to leave our table regardless of how busy they were. We mentioned to one of the team that we just married and she went over and above to organise for us a special night for dinner which we were touched by. The entertainment was fantastic the Folk Evening was really enjoyable! The food was outstanding and we particularly enjoyed their bbq/folk night sampling the local cuisine. The room was a good size and we really appreciated having a lovely balcony overlooking the town. We would return for another visit in the near future.

We stayed August 2019 and came the day we got married. I also celebrated my 40th birthday here. My children had a great time too and the staff work extremely hard.

We had a lovely weeks stay, great food spoilt for choice especially bbq nights, spoilt for drinks soft and alcohol, hotel staff brilliant plus we loved going out and about sightseeing.

Having a great holiday celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff surprised us with a bottle of bubbly and a cake. Fantastic hotel.

Great place, great food, prosecco by the bottle and best ever Bloody Mary made from fresh liquidised Tomatoes
and the staff are second too none.

Loved my week here! Friendly staff, great ice cream, drinks and cocktails, pool was very relaxed and we always found a sunbed. Pasta and pizza are very nice in the restaurant, and we had 3 BBQ nights during our stay where we sat outside which was a nice touch. Free freshly cleaned pool towels daily. Room cleaned daily with fresh water in the fridge. Comfy beds and a spacious room with balcony to dry clothes on. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel staff friendly. Hotel room big and spacious and well kept and clean. We are here for Honeymoon and got treated very well. Received some fresh fruit and a lovely bottle of champagne. Would definitely come to this hotel again.

Staff really good nothing to much trouble Food a bit hit n miss not a lot of choice as they don’t want wastage Veggie options very limited but always had a nice soup on Not a lot of choice for children but kitchen staff happy to make something Must say breakfast is the best meal n always hot Was a bit worried about the rooms as there was 2 adults n a 10 n 9 ur old but was pleasantly surprised plus a lot of drawer space for everyone All in all had a very pleasant n enjoyable week x.

Old fashioned but had its charms. Found the food good on some days, acceptable on others. Staff were good and we were made to feel welcome. Well situated within walking distance to some lively and beautiful places.

Slightly disappointed by this hotel. It’s very old fashioned and needs a full renovation, in parts a good clean. Some of the staff are very nice (possibly 5) the rest are disinterested and don’t seem to care. The foot is ok/great depending on what you eat. Also you should note that the hotel does not supply an iron or ironing board, this is because apparently it’s not an Italian thing! Had I know this I would have brought a travel iron. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and never heard this. The general Manager comes across as lazy and disinterested! He wonders around and leans against the bar. Surely his job should involve making guests happy and not try and make them feel disappointed in the hotel. Lastly the whole time we were there (1week) we never got a towel for the sun beds as they moved had any left! I would not return to this hotel again, however I would return to the area.

Great hotel for a few days or a week. Theall inclusive food is buffet style and really good and they have a pizza oven on every lunch time. Great coffee at the bar and really friendly staff. The drinks are all inclusive and pretty good. The pool is great and the rooms are a high standard of cleanliness. I would recommend it.

Dirty, dingy, decrepit & disappointing Booked one week all inclusive through First Choice. NEVER AGAIN! How this hotel is rated four star is beyond me, it is vile. I wish I had trusted my gut instinct when reading the poor reviews as they are completely founded. I emailed both First Choice and the hotel twice before travelling in the hopes of reassurance. Received two generic responses from First Choice despite asking them to answer specific questions and received no response from the hotel. Rather than write much more here I would suggest seeing my same review on Trip Advisor where there are pictures to substantiate my opinion. My son and I walked out after two days and checked in to the Mediteranneo which was utterly superb. If you are unsure about booking the Parco Del Sole my advice would be don’t.

We stayed here from 11/6/2018 till 22/6/2018 the hotel was lovely our room didn’t have a balcony but was large and clean, (after all your on holiday you only want to sleep in the room), the maid cleaned the room daily and changed the towels. The hotel have a dress code of long trousers for men however we didn’t know this and my husband always take smart shorts and we had no problems with staff in the restaurant. They did ask one guest not to wear a vest into dinner. The food was lovely it’s pasta (you are in Italy) nothing was too much for the waiter if you asked for something they usually got it for you. Wine and water on the table at dinner. Pool area nice and clean, with staff collecting glasses throughout the day. Afternoon tea was lovely out by the pool at 4. All of the staff were lovely and friendly from the guy cleaning the public areas to managers. If you want chips and burgers this is not the hotel for you. Also if you have young children I would find a different hotel. We would most certainly use this hotel again.

After 24 hours here the hotel is excellent. For an all inclusive the food and drinks are excellent. Only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the view from our room is a brick courtyard and wall. 2 days after posting the above I was taken ill with food poisoning. The hotel and travel company showed little interest in my health and welfare. Food hygiene and handling was poor at best with food left open to the heat and elements for long periods of time. We were in room 103 next to the reception which was extremely noisy up to 2am. Hotel would not move us.

Don’t know what the people who reviewed this hotel were staying, but, we think it’s great, staff, pool, food and management are first class.

Rooms are ok. The food was rank, bland, no flavour at all… where’s the garlic and herbs? Pool and bar were ok.

We have relatives staying at this hotel later this month so decided to go and see if we could get any information. The staff were amazing, very polite and gave us a guided tour.

The staff were excellent. Food a little cold. Not that really wheel chair friendly.

Had a really great time. Raphael was such a great character, and made is all very welcome. He could not have been a better host.

Amazing hotel, the hospiblity was above and beyond. We stay here for a week. On my birthday the hotel suprise me with a Bootle of Champagne and a happy birthday card from management. I would definitely recommend if you thinking of visiting Sorrento to stay at Grand Hotel Parco Del Sole. Jake Clements.

I have been in the Hotel Park of the sun and I must say it is a very cozy place.

A class hotel, beautiful and stylish, amazing value but above all else the staff are fantastic and look after you above and beyond. Cannot recommend too highly.

2 weeks in February, we found ourselves in a yard, unbearable noises unbreathable dust on the stairs you had to do the slalom x overcome the tools and workers who worked, perhaps become a 5-star hotel, X now has been shown only a great Lack of respect x the guests if the direction is this; What a big disappointment.

Renovated in the structure now of excellent standard. Good quality catering with reference quality price. The staff were very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. Located in well-served location by public transport. In the vicinity Htl Bar patisseries of excellent standard.

Wonderful hotel with pool, in the center of Sant'Agnello. Nice pizza, free parking, all rooms are renovated. I suggest it for excursions, anniversary and weddings.

Fantastic staff and food along with spotlessly clean rooms and public areas. As some travellers have commented, some parts of the hotel could do with updating, but only a 15 minutes walk from the town centre, or you can get a free shuttle bus.

A friend and I have just returned from a five day break at the Grand Parco de Sole and we were delighted with our stay. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from central Sorrento but the hotel has a free shuttle bus. We had a large room which was clean and comfortable, but the best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. It was a great stay. Gwen. 3rd March 2018

I stayed for New year with a group in Milan and unfortunately I have to say with regret that it does not deserve the four stars it indicates.
Food and service at the tables very poor cleaning.
I must add that I do not find it right that x the New Year's toast is not included in the package of the stay a glass of sparkling wine but that is required a contribution from a minimum of €30 to a maximum of €80 (according to the brand of sparkling wine) for each table.
I add that x my table the sparkling wine brought to us for the price of €30 was not worth more than €5.
I don't think I'm going back in the future.

Undeserved stars, low-level business canteen food, no buffets, morning breakfast from hospital, nothing exceptional rooms with shower included in the list but bathtub, which if you're not careful lake the WC. Only the location, but not clearing the rest, taking into account that to get to the places to visit, the traffic takes you away a lot of time and patience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I don't post photos because I'm mad black.

Great value, great location had a very nice holiday.

Maybe it was a 4 star in the ' 80 ' bad food and Czech baths… 3 stars would be too many.

I went here with my hubby for ten days all inclusive. Great place, does what it says on the tin. Staff were mostly brilliant, in particular Clever (yes that's his name really), Antonio, Pepe on the bar with Bob (fab cocktails), Miguelo and others whose names I didn't get. I found the concierge grumpy but others said he was great so maybe I caught him on a bad day. Entertainment there wasn't really, but it was end of season… My only major negative was the queues for drinks. Half an hour is ridiculous. Fair enough you can pick up lots of cold drinks in one round, but when you want a cuppa it's a major annoyance. On balance, I would recommend and would probably go back.

Food was second to none. Coffee was some of the best I'd ever tasted but the beer and cocktails weren't the best. Rooms were average at best. Old decor and there was an infestation of ants in our room, the troop stretched from the corridor outside to the wardrobe. Location was great, short walk from the seafront and the free shuttle bus into sorrento was ideal.

Excellent rooms though bathroom is on the small size. Food is good and facilities too.

Nice hotel, spotlessly clean, really friendly staff.
On the down side I was disappointed with the food, there was always a good selection but it was always cold.
A quite lovely Pool area was spoilt by the fact that the pool was absolutely freezing the whole time we were there. Very few people got in the pool and those that did could not stay in, some coming out complaining of brain freeze. Could not understand this as the weather was great, in the mid 20s the whole week we were there.
I don't want to sound harsh, but if you are a gin and tonic drinker get your own tonic. Most of the booze was well known brands and fine but the tonic was complete pants and foul tasting.
All that said we did enjoy our stay here, the hotel is not to far from the centre of Sorrento, there is a courtesy bus to and from the centre, Sorrento is a lovely town and the back street/alleys bars and restaurants need to be explored and experienced.

On fortunately the hotel let's it self down with a poor variety of food (if you like pasta or pizza for every meal then your ok) it's normally cold and covered with flies. It does not meet the requirements of safe food standards. Then the drinks! the spirit's are so watered down its needs no ice! and they also ran out of beer! As a Thomson all inclusive it has to be the worst I have stayed in and I would only book it as a last resort. If stopping bring plenty of Euros asbthe restaurants outside are excellent. On the plus side the rooms are clean and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff are very friendly.

Here at the moment. Nice room lovely staff. Too cold to be eating outside though as the weather is changing and the food gets cold very quickly. Drinks set up is good as you can help yourself to wines and soft drinks. Not a great variety of food and at 8.00 last night only lettuce left on the salad bar. Needs replenishing.

Go with the price you've paid in mind rather than the 4-star accolade, and you'll be impressed. Decent food, lovely friendly staff, a good sized pool with towels available, and reasonable rooms, if a little basic. Some hints of shabbiness — shelves and light fittings askew, toilet seat broken etc — but for the price it's fine.

We are currently staying at the hotel parco sole in sorrento and giving it one star is rated too high before we arrived our allocated room was a double with a window we actually booked a double with a balcony or terrace?! When we checked in we were told that some food had been sorted for us as we were on a later flight and told that our luggage would be taken to our room. After eating we went to the bar for a little while. When we went passed reception at 11pm our luggage was still sat there the receptionist said the man had finished for the night?! Having checked out the reviews before we travelled I knew what to expect well so I thought! Breakfast is mainly cake and pizza the juice is squash! The lunch menu is something the be desired. The plastic cups smell need I say more? We are coming to the end of our week and I have to say this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. We are all inclusive and have only managed to eat one meal here as the food is truly awful! The pizza being the only good option. The drinks are just nasty they have a couple of branded bottles but these do not have branded drinks in them and the barman just smirked when I questioned what was in them. The sunbeds are the most uncomfortable I have ever lay on the unberellas are in short supply and guess what most dont work.

Fantastic hotel, brilliant staff and wonderful food. Drinks were international brands like Sky Vodka Gordon's Gin… unlimited Prosecco, Pepsi/Coke and Swheppes mixers. Food is served around pool area 3 nights a week, BBQ, flame oven pizza's, Salmon and so on. The restaurant is used at other times. Breakfast is pretty much every option you want. Rooms have aircon, free safe, toiletries, hairdryer, mini fridge with bottled water provided daily. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Will definitely return.

Well positioned 20 minutes walk from Sorrento, with an hourly shuttle bus. Very good service, and range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Food ok, if a bit samey, and the entertainment caters for the older clientele.

This was a fab hotel, great choice of food, lovely pool area and the staff can't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend.

Recently refurbished, the hotel is very worthy of the star rating. The air-conditioning could be a little stronger and quieter, though that is a minor criticism. The staff on the whole are very friendly, helpful and engaging.

My partner and I have just returned from a week away and we really enjoyed our stay. Good drinks and food choices. The restaurant staff and bar staff were great, but must say Rose was exceptional. The man with glasses at reception was the only staff member who was rude. I would recommend.

This hotel is OK, the room is OK, the staff are OK. But if OK is not your thing then this place is not for you. The rooms are very dated, so don't expect much. Rather expensive for what it is.

Disappointingly, both as entertainment and as treatment. Not 4 star by 3 are more than enough. No more shuttle and the staff isn't exactly what you'd call kind. (peasants)

Just come back from a brilliant week here, comfortable, attentive service, lovely pool and a quiet surroundings (for Italy! ) Food was varied except at breakfast time. We had a superior double room and it had everything you needed except Tea making but we knew about that before we travelled so not a surprise. Nice touch is the pool towels and plenty of sun beds and deck chairs. Might be a bit on the quiet side for some in terms of entertainment but great for us. Would happily go back.

I really loved this hotel! Great location just outside of Sorrento, the beds were clean and comfortable, the rooms beautiful! The pool was stunning and the food and restaurant were fantastic. The only thing that bothered me was the Wi-Fi. The more people that used it, the slower it got. :|

Just spent a week at the lovely parco del sole hotel. Beautiful hotel, with a lovely pool, and a totally retro feel, especially the dining room and bar! A bit of a trek (25 minutes or so) into Sorrento, but there's a free shuttle bus several times daily. We stayed half-board and the food was varied and very tasty, with a good choice each night varying from really simple pasta and tomato sauce to octopus, rabbit, mussels etc. My wife is quite (very) fussy with food, and there was always something she could eat. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the room was kept very clean. The only slight complaint I would mention was that the meals seemed to be a little rushed, which I wasn't really expecting in Italy… Other than that — "Perfetto! "

Ultra positive, beautiful property, nice pool, fresh and comfortable, staff friendly, polite and helpful staff, free shuttle to sorrento centre very convenient and precise at the times. Overall everything positive and relaxed atmosphere.

I found an offer of 29€ per night per double room… it was great! very kind staff, helpful and very polite. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Sorrento centre (just 10 minutes away from the hotel by bus). The buble pool was great. I will stay there again if I go to Sorrento in the future.
