Perfect little BnB, very close to the station and within walking distance of the Centro Storico.
The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.
The host was very kind and let me leave my suitcase in the front room for a few hours before my flight.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to read the reviews before booking.
We arrived late at night and was only made aware that there was a 20 euro charge for arriving after check-in was closed because we had called the hotel earlier.
On arrival nobody was there to meet us although I'd called just 20 minutes before whilst at the airport. While waiting in a very dangerous area late at night with my daughter and my girlfriend I was assaulted by a drunk guy who punched me in the chest because I didn't give him money. As we had no phone we had to ask the convenience store to call again to be let into the hotel. Eventually a guy arrived who looked homeless demanding that we follow him. It was only because he showed us the booking on his phone that we agreed.
He took us 200 metres down the street to hotel poker. We had read the reviews of this hotel and that's why we had chose Napoli stazion B&B. Little did we know that both these hotels are owned or managed by the same person.
The reception stunk of stale cigarettes and the room had electrical wires hanging from the wall. The door to the balcony was not lockable. But at that time of the night we had no choice but to stay. The very rude guy told us that we owed him 20 euros for letting us in at that time and also wanted 25 euro for taxes. And also told us that there was no breakfast which we had paid for.
We refused to pay and said we'd speak to management the following day.
The next day we left early and arrived back late.

Wow! Where to begin. When we arrived, the man at the reception was arguing loudly with the police, and we had to wait downstairs for the argument to be settled before we could check in. We were shocked by the situation, but empathetic to the man, as whatever was going on was obviously quite stressful. Despite our kindness and understanding he was very rude to us and another traveler, before quickly ushering us into the room. He then left immediately, before we could get help with the clearly broken air conditioner, or get the Wi-Fi password.
When the (very kind) girls in the neighbouring room offered assistance and called the owner for us, we heard the owner clearly tell them in Italian to "tell the foreigners you are cleaners here, and aren't able to help, " before hanging up on them mid-sentence. In addition, the sinks barely drain and the toilet didn't flush properly.
At 9:00am we were awoken by the owner who had hung up on us the night before. She gave us perfectly acceptable plate of breakfast but rudely told us to leave at 9:30. We said that our checkout was at 11:00, which we had agreed upon with the man the previous night. After we were sure that she understood, she left, saying "Give me my tray! " She then returned 3 more times, telling us to leave so she could clean. Tired of all the nonsense, we left at 10:15.
Also, as a side note, the rooms are on the 8th floor, and a sign tells you that the elevator (which only goes to the 7th floor) requires 20 cents per use.
