This “bed and breakfast” is A VERY BIG NO.
1. When you enter the “bed and breakfast” the smell of SEWAGE hits your nose. This smell continues strongly in the room and even after ventilating the whole room — nothing helps. It will keep smelling like POO. Absolutely crazy. We asked to leave immediately to avoid this situation but even though we booked 20 mins before entering the place, they refused to cancel the booking for the night and also the next night. This is greediness in the most ugly way rather than care for the business or the customers.
2. The “bed and breakfast” does NOT offer breakfast. Paradox to call yourself like that, if you don’t provide the service and most importantly, don’t mention it anywhere on any hotel booking site. Not even a coffee machine or any gestures of hospitality is there. Even in the common area, they could put some kind of kettle or tea options as a minimum of the minimum.
3. The reviews were good of this place, which is why we booked it but on reflection, all of them mainly mention that it had a renovation in an old building. Ok, it’s a minimum for a place to be renovated and not something that is a reason to stay here. The fact that there is nothing else positive to say about this place says it all.
Luckily we stayed at another bed and breakfast in Naples and the host was so lovely and with small things, like a coffee on arrival, free luggage storage suggestion, a breakfast voucher for an Italian breakfast etc.
