We stayed 3 days and it was the only out of tune note of this wonderful city. Unfriendly staff, zero professionalism! Ask for information and you always find someone with a very freaky air to answer you. The cleanliness is not great. We asked for the courtesy to stay an hour past check out time offering of course to pay the difference and we were denied (despite having specified that I did not feel well). There was no one to wait, so you could safely grant an extra hour. Poor breakfast considering it's a 4 star. No checks, in fact one night we did not sleep at all as the room next to ours was occupied by people who made noise all night without anyone intervening. Cleaning is not done regularly. In fact one morning we went out and on our return we found the room as it was, except then being called and disturbed while we were resting, because the reception wondered if WE VOLEVAMO the cleaning. Honestly from a 4 star I expect more… In Naples you will definitely find better at more honest prices… and even in safer areas to go out in the evening!

Superb stay at the best western plaza hotel. Big double room, super clean, all necessary European stuff in room you should expect. And a great particular mention to GianFranco who was very friendly, helpful, professional and sympathic. I will definitely come back in this hotel for all those reasons. Cb.

The location is terrible. Near the station, all in the mud and black. The hotel is pleasant.

It is really close to the main train station which is useful. The rooms are ok and they have a good breakfast. The staff is really nice.

The hotel meets all the standards. Roof Buffet is great and good for a cheap morning munch to fill you up. Staff is great, the buffet people are kind and helpful. Hotel itslef is 4 star but the many Guiseppi at the front desk is worth 5, maybe more! Recommended a fabulous restaurant and brought us outside to make directions easier and helped us graciously with all our first day of travel issues. Very thankful to this man, over all great stay. (As a heads up it’s a bit dodgy at night but that’s not the hotels fault)

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms are dark and beds and all really disgusting, you wouldn't even wanna touch the curtain. It's absolutely terrible. Location in the least safe area of the city, the so called "breakfast on the rooftop terrace" is absolutely ridiculous. In reality it's a room on an upper floor and the "buffet" are two tables next to each other with no variety what so ever. Absolutely not 4star worthy and should be shut down.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the station. Excellent cleanliness. Negative: bathroom without lockers. Abundant buffet breakfast with a variety of sweet and salty. Staff with typical Neapolitan courtesy.

One of the worst experience ever, I stayed 5 day and the hotel and the stuff are not in a level of a four star. Nobody there has a plan how to attend a guest. I start to book the parking before my check in and they told me that they had a discount with a parking nearby but was possible only to pay in cash and without bills (so where was my convenience? ) and this little particular they told me only once I arrived at the hotel. The hotel has a small road for let some cars for organize with the lagguage but was always occupy with other cars, so I had to park my car far away and bring my bags inside. Without any utility for the real guest of the hotel but once they told me that there was a meeting The room where I stayed was old and also the bed and the pillows are, the air conditioned is almost impossible to switch it off otherwise you will smell a strange bad smell in the room, that's why I always find it switched on after the cleaning service. The bathroom has a very cheap floor. The breakfast is served on the top floor/terrace, and the ladies that there are attending the guest are not always professional, but only if they are not to busy doing what they are doing. Seams that serving the guest is an optional. In fact for the first two days nobody served me anything different from the choice of the buffet, once day they purpose me to have a real orange juice, because they served one industrial on the buffet.

Strategically located, the station is very convenient, the old Town (Spaccanapoli via the courts the Duomo) can be reached in 10 minutes. The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean. The area does not show the best but, in truth we had no problem. I would definitely recommend it.

Hotel in a great location, close to the station, clean, good rooms. Very nice breakfast room on the top floor with adjoining terrace.

+ Sauber + Netter Service Conclusion: The Hotel is ok, if you have Money over and want to save Yourself ways, you can also book here. But there are certainly even more beautiful Hotels.
Beautiful Holiday.

The hotel is in a very bad area. It is full of extra-community and the entrance is in front of a small square where you can find day and night. I feared returning to the hotel late in the evening (and this resulted in having to give up a carefree evening in my stay in Naples). The price quality seems disproportionate and upon our arrival the tub inside the bathroom was filthy. We didn't have any balcony, just a small window with a far from pleasant view. The breakfast was nothing great and they were offered cakes from the white mill.
Positive notes: The room, but especially the bathroom, were cleaned well every day with change of towels and our belongings were never touched.
Not worth the stay here.

Comfortable Hotel, 1 ' from the Alibus Stop (airport bus). And 2 ' from the Central Station train and bus. Immigration zone but no problem with them. Good buffet and comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful. Thank you.

Naples is itself in stark contrast with the rest of Italy (in my own opinion). While the room was spacious and quite comfortable, I did not much enjoy our stay here. We wound up back in the room earlier than we deigned trying to overly cautious about the folk there. But I found several things did not match up. The mattress was not very nice, it sort of depressed in the middle, and I woke up with a bad back; the bidet did not have a big enough mouth for its drain, so you can imagine what it was like. In addition, the breakfast was very lacking. There was not anything for a vegetarian (not indeed anything for someone who was lactose or gluten intolerant). THey did not replace the scrambled eggs once it was over; the coffee was not great. But, my husband who is nonvegetarian and not averse to gluten or lactose said their breads and pastries were delicious. So, if you have any food allergies, I would not recommend this place.

Hotel was really nice, very clean, breakfast was excellent with a big variety of food. We enjoyed a wonderful view from the terrace because the breakfast room is at the 5th floor of the hotel.

The Hotel is near to the train station. It's well furnished, clean and the room was cosy. The breakfast was good. However it is a 4 stars hotel and I was expecting the receptionists to be friendly and professional, instead Gianfranco and Olimpia offered a very bad service. They were unprofessional and rude. Olimpia who checked us out came to the front desk chewing her breakfast, talked to us as we were disturbing. I pointed out the disservice, but nothing has changed. Please people choose another holtel. I’ve received a better services even in a youth hostel!

Great location, a short walk to the station. Large and clean room. There is A coffee and tea maker available.

I have not had a good stay at this hotel, and warn others about the gang of homeless refugees that are outside the hotel in the plaza day and night. The whole area is swarming with them, as the hotel is near the main train station. I went for a walk after checking in, and within 20 minutes I was jostled by a group of these men, and they stole my iPhone from my pocket. I went back to the hotel, told the lady at the front desk, that my phone had been stolen, and she rolled her eyes like she could give a flip. No help at all for a guest and stranger to her country. It may not seem like much to have your phone stolen, but I can't navigate a foreign country without it. So I'll spend Friday trying to get a smartphone. Not an easy task with the language barrier. The hotel itself is nice enough, but the staff aren't exactly welcoming and the biggest downside is it's location. Can't wait to get out of here. Beware!

Just a sttimana ago, we were returning home in the province of Alexandria, we Trascorsco (two couples) a nice weekend in Naples and I must say that the hotel Plaza was a very apt solution. Hotel in a strategic position, but above all we found a staff of friends who made us feel at home, thank you to all and without doing wrong to anyone, a special greeting to Susanna.

Great hospitality, nice rooms with balcony, close all that is good and nice.
Clean Hotel, breakfast room at the roof garden, beautiful view.
We hit the receptionist Olimpia, who is a very gebtile and helpful girl.
For every problem or just to have a chat she was always there.
We will go back to the.

Hotel would get 4 stars as Rooms are adequate Breakfast room is great Views to Vesuvius are good too. Loses another star on cable lift to town centre as tickets are almost impossible to buy when ticket machine is broken. Beware of rip off 'so called' taxi drivers who offer to help purchase tickets wanting payment for help. Thankfully we were a party of four as a couple on holiday together would be intimidated by these thugs, Leaves a sour taste in the mouth during a wonderful holiday. By the way did I mention the rip off 'helpers'? Beware!

A overnight of a night but the hotel is very comfortable, clean and with friendly staff. It is about 300 meters from the station, Metropark etc… I recommend it. Price €89 with breakfast, to which you must add the taxes of stay €3 per person.

Advertised as 4 star hotel. Would not give it 1 star. Surly unhelpful staff. Tiny bathroom. With a shower stall so small my husband (32 in waist) barely fit. Bad smell in room. No facilities. Cold and unwelcoming bar. Would love to know what the city tax is for. Avoid this hotel. Advertised to include breakfast, not even a coffee available when we were leaving at 5am. Advertised as airport shuttle, did not mention €30 charge or any time constraints. Most expensive taxi fare for 10 minute drive.

Please avoid this hotel and area Outside looks like a nightmare people hanging around drinking searching through rubbish bins You fear for your saftey here I have seen some places but this is the worst. The hotel Our room only had one curtain instead of two bearing in mind we are overlooking all these people outside The shower was so small once in its very hard to move The shower door was coming off The bathroom door was scrapping on the floor which made it very hard to open or close it How this is part of the best western chain is truly beyond me The two guys at the reception standing outside while the phone inside was continually ringing Basically no one seemed to care. We spend 3nights there never again.

This is an outstanding hotel. It was just a 15 minute easy walk from the train station. The hotel is bright and appealing from the outside, clean and organized on the inside. The room was normal, the breakfast was good, the employees were cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to walk to various attractions in Naples. I was very happy to find this hotel and would certainly recommend it to others.

As travel agents we do not recommend staying at the hotel. We have had for the first and last time, passengers housed in the month of August of 2017 who lived a tense situation in the square opposite the Hotel, place where every day people gather to take and alcoholizarse. Two men fortified wanted to rob my passenger his camera being attacked and beaten and, upon entering the Hotel, one of its owners, not only, did not attend the passengers who entered frightened to the situation lived, but also called a doctor of Help or They allowed to make a complaint in their defense. I understand that what happens outside the hotel does not compete, but not attend a foreign tourist who does not handle the language, who does not know how to manage in an unknown city and leave the hotel without caring at all and without recognizing any money at night p Erdidas to this situation discredits not only the Hotel but also the destination.
Logically this affection to our company to the dissatisfaction of our clients and to the non-response of the Hotel only we left to publish our discontent.

DON'T STAY in this hotel. The neighbourhood is scary — crowds of teenage immigrants hanging around, taking drugs? sleeping right in front of the hotel at night, DIRTY all around! You won't feel safe there! The hotel itself is overpriced and has nothing to attract vistors for this price!

+ good service, breakfast early or late with great terrace, fridge in room, safe, location, bidet, great Wi-Fi some of the best and free 2-3mb p/s, cleaning good when asked for, great AC. -bed wasn't suffienctly clean on arrival but was sorted when requested, advertised as superior but got a twin bed, room smaller than expected, old decor and lack of utensils in the room can be requested however, no balcony no view in room, generally would class as a UK 3 star rather than 4. Overall service is good, it is quiet, communication is good and good English the faults listed are generally the only faults.

Juices was mixed with water, plastic glasses for juice, small tables service are not taking dishes while you eating… Breakfast is same everyday. Rooms are not cozy for three people in two peoples room, but clean.

Do not stay here if you value your safety. Hotel was fine, but area surrounding hotel my wife and I did not feel safe. We tried to walk to the train station in the afternoon, and I was spit on by someone for no reason other than what I look like. Plaza across the street has trash and rubbish everywhere. A fellow hotel guest warned my wife to not wear her necklace out as his wife's was stolen while wearing it the previous day. We stayed here June 2017.

Due to an unfortunate choice of hotels in Naples I went into this hotel, the Best Western Plaza to ask if they had any rooms to rent. Unfortunately they were fully booked but the personnel on the reception desk were so kind to me and helped to book me into another much nicer hotel near them. One of the staff members then went with me back to my original accommodation and sorted out my issues. He then carried our bags down 2 flights of stairs and gave us clear and precise directions to our new accommodations. I am very thankful for their help and would recommend this hotel based on their staff alone.

Congratulations for all kindness courtesy etc… plenty of breakfast with everything more, elegant and perfectly clean rooms.

Two steps away from the railway station, perfect location for touring Naples walking or by public transport. Cleanliness and friendliness of staff complete the picture. Great value for money.

I travel 3 of 4 weeks/month, retiree with means. This IS NOT a 4 star hotel, barely 3 stars (Best Western Atlantic Milan much, much better than this place and I consider it a marginal 4 star). One side is on a street where at night garbage trucks collect many bins a little after 12 midnight = noisy. Bathrooms in double bed suite tiny especially rickety plastic sliding shower door stalls and barely enough walking room around bed. You can hear people in the next room easily. Bright spot is breakfast people and maids (latter if you leave a daily tip). Reception hit and miss in terms of courtesy. Strict 2 PM check-in no matter what you say. Old style metal bulbous keys and a key for safe that you have to ask for.

Great location — near train station, near Alibus (transfer to airport), metro station, R2 bus (transfer to central place). The room — clean and confortable, friendly staff. I give it 4 stars because around the hotel is not very safe — we didnt have troubles. If I want to come back in Naples I will choose again this hotel.

The room was clean and nice. I am walking from Napoli centrale to the hotel, it is not that far but the way to the hotel was not that good.

The hotel is a 4 star hotel, located close to the maximum 5 minutes walk. Overlooking piazza Principe Umberto where everyday make a neighborhood market. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the square.
To check a little confusing but pleasant and tasty croissants and sfogliatelle upon receipt.
Breakfast at 5 ^ floor has a terrace from where you can admire a portion of the city.
The spacious, bright day and ben obscured the night by double curtains. Uncomfortable bed light does not turn off all the lights in the room.
Internet works fine in every area of the hotel, free and easy access.

Good location near the station, the room comfortable and clean as was the bathroom great shower. Special thanks to Olmpia and Carolin whose kindness made our stay most enjoyable.

Walking distance to Central station and beyond, the staff were friendly, the direction always helpful, rooms cleaned every day was changed the linens … nothing to say great stay …
One minus the area where located suggests unar bad booking, underneath the hotel every morning there is a small market but if you have to turn to Naples this won't create problems.

I have been using the hotel for about 11yrs the staff are mostly helpful especially olymipia at the front desk, very helpful indeed the breakfast needs more variety! No eggs or toast available but the rooms are comfy enough. But could be cleaner but like I said I love the staff.

Located very centrally close to the napoli central station but the service was extremely poor. Specially the staff at the buffet breakfast were not interested in refilling the breakfast counters. They kept all the cold cuts (frozen meat) with the cheese making it impossible for vegetarians to eat at ease. Service really needs to improve.

Do not book this hotel. I cannot understand the rave reviews given that yes the hotel internally is quite nice and the breakfast plentiful enough, but the area is very bad, dangerous, noisy, full of dodgy scum. In the hotel: stench of drains in the bathroom, sink clogged and for one afternoon and one evening we left without hot water and the staff didn't solve the problem until the next morning. Comfort beds.

Truth is, the hotel cannot be blamed for the surrounding area — that's Naples. This hotel provides nice and clean room. Its location that is close to Naples Central Station really made movement easy for me. At night, the area is calm — I had good sleep at night.

Great hotel staff, ok hotel, shame about the area It's difficult to review this hotel. It's a mixed bag of results: The good: 1) The hotel staff are exceptionally accommodating and helpful with sightseeing ideas, excellent restaurant suggestions and help when keys were lost due to theft of a bag. Molto grazie a I bellissimi Olimpia e Massimo! 2) Good location for access to the train and public transport 3) Very affordable The bad: Not enough power sockets for today's electronics-centric lifestyles (but I could have packed a powerbar as I often do) The ugly: The area is possibly one of the worst in Naples — absolutely swarming with gipsies, illegals and criminals. My mum's bag was stolen from someone on a scooter while crossing a nearby street. In short, if you don't need to be in the area, or if you're a bit of a naive or not a seasoned traveller, don't. But if you do want the strategic location and are street smart, I would highly recommend the Best Western Hotel Plaza.
