We have just returned from a wonderful, wonderful, relaxing weekend.
After having a small problem with a room the staff and especially the Lady made themselves available in everything. We didn't miss anything. We immediately felt welcomed and pampered. Would recommend to anyone. Excellent cleanliness, impeccably executed service, sublime cuisine. I can't find any faults. We will definitely be back 💕

This is my favorite hotel in all of Italy. The location is perfect and the owners and staff treat you like family. I can't wait to get back hopefully this fall. Praiano is the place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. And Tramonto has the perfect location in the heart of the quaint town far away from hoards of tourists.

We love this hotel! The dining room Manager André made our whole stay amazing! He was so lovely and ran his restaurant with great style. You can tell the staff love working with him. We absolutely love the decor! Comfortable rooms and lovely walk to the beach. Jean Baptist was lovely serving us at the pool bar as well.

Nonna Teresa a beautiful sweet old lady happily mingles with the guests and ensure you are happy at all times. Highly recommend and we will definitely return.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the bus stop for public transportation. This is a must if you come to Praiano.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful, picture perfect sunsets, views of Positano. Easy access to all towns on the Amalfi coastline. Cleanliness is impeccable, staff is very courteous and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic as well. Breakfast is phenomenal! Bravissimo!

Beautiful hotel with a magnificent view from the restaurant and sundeck. Good food, a bit pricey, but on a par for the region. Has a bit of parking too, and a lift to the restaurant if needed.

Amazing place. Service was superb and room was beautiful and clean. The view from our room was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated so that you can see the sun set behind Positano. We would absolutely go back.

Just amazing views from an amazing hotel. Rooms are very big, with a big new toilete. The full wall of the room is a windows to the sea, so you feel like you are part of it. Its arround 200€ per night and you can get a parking for 20€ per night. Service is good. The town is a bit poor, not worth for more than a day.

Wonderful dinner! Beautiful sunset view. Also, as a lactose-intolerant person I really appreciated how the menu listed allergens in certain dishes.

A wonderful coastal hotel with views of Positano and the Faraglioni of Capri, from which you can appreciate exceptional sunsets (here's the name). L-shaped pool, descended to sea directly from the hotel (about 400 steps), sauna, parking and a great restaurant make this place a place to spend an unforgettable holiday. For those who like to dance a short distance away there is the famous disco "Africana" that offers shuttle services to reach it. Finally, the welcome and courtesy of the family that has run the hotel for generations and all the staff are impeccable. Appropriate prices.

I just stayed here with my 2 girlfriends for 4 nights and can’t say enough good things about the hotel and the restaurant. The staff were so warm and helpful and always available. The views are of course spectacular. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. There is a huge variety at breakfast. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner in their restaurant. I highly recommend staying here. Plus the hotel is in walking distance to many other excellent restaurants.

We recently stayed 4 nights and the location is perfect. You are close enough to Positano and Amalfi' but away from the tourist crowds. Centrally located to bars and restaurants in the local town area. The staff were all very friendly to make your stay as memorable as possible. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough if you are looking for a base to stay on the Amalfi Coast.

We were here for a short time but the level of service made us want to stay longer. The hotel staff treated us like family. Extremely helpful and organised our days there. Carmella and her beautiful mother were so lovely to deal with. Would definitely come back here! Highly recommend having breakfast & dinner here food is delicious and view is incredible. Just be prepared for uncomfortable beds.

Lovely place and panorama that leaves you breathless. You can enjoy a view of Positano to the Faraglioni of Capri. Top kitchen for the chef's products and proposals. Helpful and attentive staff always ready to meet every request. Interminable series of exquisite appetizers, first mind-blowing and tasty desserts. Recommended!

I had lunch at this hotel on the occasion of a wedding. The property is nice and cozy with a breathtaking view. Lunch was served in a stained-glass room overlooking the sea. Great food.

A very nice hotel ideally located for seeing the sunset. The breakfast was really good and the room was very clean. The staff were also nice. Some of the rooms like ours had no view which was a bit disappointment but maybe I should have checked with them earlier.

Wonderfully friendly and interested owner (daughter of the founder), who let my wife use the toilet for free before we circled back to have a drink there whilst enjoying the sunset. Amazing views over the local duomo (San Genaro? ) and plaza in front, and of the sunset (unlike Positano and many other places that are tucked away in coves where the sun is occluded long before). Worth a visit for the stunning view and friendly staff alone.

A very good level restaurant with a wonderful view of Positano and Capri. Sunny pool until sunset.
A small downside for the soundproofing of some rooms and the furniture not really suitable for a long stay. The spa that is not one… Cons well equipped fitness room and massages very pro!
Family friendly reception very attentive and available, and parking which is a real luxury on the Amalfi Coast.

Dreaming about the food in one of the best restaurants we visited during our trip in Italy. The food had something extra, especially the appetiser was amazing. Three different kinds of local cheese and scallops fried in disaronno was indescribable good. The lobster had good flavour. The risotto was okay but a bit boring. Finished the dinner with a beautiful pannacotta. Amazing view of the sunset behind the mountains. A truly romantic place. Good service and the owner finished the evening walking around asking how the dinner been. Another big plus is the free shuttle service, just call the restaurant and they pic you up before dinner. Can't get more convenient than that. Truly recommend.

Wow — This place is top notch in every way. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The view from anywhere on the property is fabulous. The restaurant is delicious. And the pool is relaxing. Please make sure to book a stay here while in Praiano.

This hotel was beautiful — it's in Praiano, which is not too far from positano. I'd recommend splashing out for one of the nicer rooms with a balcony, you get a beautiful view of positano. The people at the front desk were lovely and very helpful — they gave us recommendations for beaches, made reservations for us they were great. There is also a restaurant which is very nice and has the same amazing view. I'd absolutely come back. They also have parking available if you're driving, which is a huge plus.

That the location is lovely is undeniable, but that the rest is intoned not really. We were in August, booking for a group, knowing owners, chef and environment. It will have been a case, but we ate poorly, the evening was tainted by the offer of food not sure in line with the expectations. Too bad, but so you lose clientele.

Beautiful and stunning place to stay. Rooftop with pool, great views, everything is first class. If there was one negative it would be the food which is a little hit and miss.

I very rarely write reviews, but this hotel, the family who manages it and the entire staff deserve one. The hotel can be summarized as "absolutely fantastic". The room: the hotel is renovating their rooms, I can't speak for the older ones, but the new ones are high and very well done. All is very clean, extremely comfortable and spacious. The view is breathtaking as you can see the ocean, the mountains and the bay in front of Positano, all while relaxing in your private terrace or from your bed. There is a church to one side of the hotel which sometimes rings its bells, but the renovated rooms have a fantastic set of glass doors that completely isolate the noise, making the room extremely quite and peaceful. The curtains are automatic so you can bring them up and down with the click of a button right by the bed. The room has a good air conditioning system and the shower has a very nice water pressure. Wifi was free and fast (I could stream Netflix without any issues). Honestly, fantastic rooms. Location: The hotel is a little over 10 min away from Positano by car, located in a town called Praiano. We used it as our hub location to visit Positano, Ravello, Capri and Pompeii. There are few restaurants and bars at walking distance + a pharmacy and a grocerie store. The staff: nothing like a family business, often times you will meet Sra. Teresa (the oldest family member since the hotel was set up back in the 50's) and Carmela who are always attentive, nice and helpful.

This a five star hotel. The attention from the staff is amazing, the view is unbeatable and the room is gorgeous. Book the Mediterranean room that has sea view with balcony, enjoy the view with a wine and an amazing dessert from the restaurant, you won't regret it.

We had a standard room without a view. It was small but clean and well appointed. Great views of the sunset from the pool deck.

Could not fault it. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. One of the best views on the Amalfi Coast. Good dining room with good wine list. Recently renovated rooms with en suite bathroom and balcony. Praiano quieter than Positano and easier to get to Amalfi and Ravello.

Their staffs are very kind and it has enough parking space. There are several amazing private beaches nearby.

This is not the first time that we are guests of this which I think is one of the most beautiful and complete facilities that can be found on the Amalfi coast. It's all very nice, especially the common parts. Very particular is the solarium and the pool placed above the hall. I must admit that all the spaces have been exploited in order to promote relaxation. Not to mention the scenery that you are presented before your eyes in the morning while doing a good and varied breakfast. Despite being firmly convinced of this, I must say that this time I stumbled upon a misadventure. I booked a room for two "not". Well! Want to know what I found there? A room with a window that overlooks a hallway oxen and whole the building. Fresh air even pay you! We had to keep the lights on and not open the window, otherwise there is the risk that other guests passing could look in the room. You realize! A basement from € 260, 00 per night. Is a real scandal! Considering the importance of the structure. In my opinion, is not eligible to propose an arrangement like that!

Nice hotel in good location for restaurants in the quiet Praiano. Good brekky, good pool, good staff, a bit annoying umbrellas could never be used near pool due to slight breath of wind. Nice sunsets.

Nice Hotel with great views in the small town of Praiano. I believe the name, Tramonto D'oro means "Golden Sunset". Quite a good central location on the Sorrento Peninsula to visit other towns on the Amalfi Coast, including the island of Capri by ferry. Also reasonably good food served in the hotel's restaurant.
