Beautiful rooms and spotlessly clean. Fabulous view. The ONLY minus would be turning up the temperature on the eggs and bacon at breakfast. Too lukewarm in reality. … Fabulous staff and amazing rooms.

Oh my gawd! Their bartender is a great mixologist. Their host really makes you feel welcomed like you are a guest in a home. The chef! Just order gamberi e calamari frutti! I will never be the same.

We stopped by this hotel to have lunch and were completely blown away at the quality of all the items we ordered and the amazing top notch service complimented by the fantastic view. They really made our day!

This hotel and the people who run it are absolutely amazing. They meet your every need, it is an amazing location and also has a restaurant that was fantastic. The Hotel and its staff were very gay friendly. It is run by the owner Robin and her husband and her children Gabrielle and his wife Leyla who we have now become friends with. If you are looking for that quant friendly owned itilian Villa look no further this is the spot! We will be back… Mike & Joe.

This small family-run hotel is a gem. In addition to having had a room with a wonderful view of the sea we were greeted on our arrival by their beautiful puppies and in the evening by their kitten who seems to be observing them every movement of the guests.

This is an extraordinary hotel. It is family owned and run perfectly. Everyone goes out of their way to help you. The restaurant is amazing. The wine store allows you to get wine at a reasonable price and is owned by the family. The views are incredible and the rooms are larger than normal European rooms. Great value as well. We spent 5 nites from June 20-25 2018

We dined with a view of the Tyrrhenian. Very good everything. There is Q book. Very rich tasting menu.

I only ever review to leave good feedback but this was an exception. Myself and my boyfriend had a terrible experience with very rude, uninterested staff. Having just got engaged, we felt very deflated by the staff and food. Do not order the risoto. I hate to leave bad reviews but I want to warn in advance. This place was extremely disappointing ☹

We booked a 3 night stay 12/26/17-12/29/17. Don't believe the photos of the hotel. Very misleading. The room was small and the bed — very uncomfortable and very low to the ground. Not what you would expect for the $310 (US) a night we paid, especially for the winter months when it is stormy and you have to camp out there! The room was prepaid and non-refundable. We arrived and the weather was turning stormy and the forecast for the next few days was rainy, windy and cold. I as…ked the owner/manager about restaurants & she said most or all of the restaurants were closed this time of the year, and Sorrento was at least 40 minutes away by bus or taxi! She did tell me there were 3 open nearby, and the weather was ok, so we walked. Next day, very stormy. We bought groceries and stayed in for dinner (in that small space). I had called Expedia and explained and asked if the hotel would let us leave a day early with a refund. The answer was no! I understand the room was ppd, but in light of everything you would think mgmt would in good faith and with good customer relations do something for us, but no. Expedia also attempted again when we returned home, and again the answer was no from the owner. I would not recommend anyone to stay here because the rates are much too high for what you get, especially in winter! The management has no regard or empathy for the customer. It seems they think of only of their bottom line.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, delicious food.

What not to love about this boutique hotel. Great location with fantastic views. Take the top floor ones, smaller, cheaper if you are ok to walk extra floors. Great breakfast buffet included with made to order espresso drinks. I would stay here again for sure.

Hotel with great staff, room with a great view and above average shower. The hotel restraunt also serves up great dessert. Would definitely revisit when back in the area. Cannot stress how great the staff were.

Super family run hotel with fabulous views in the heart of positano Italy. Make sure you pre book the rooms with the balconies. Lovely limon trees and awesome view of the cliffs and sea. The jewel of the amalfi coast.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel… We were there for seven nights and from the moment we checked in until we left we were made to feel so very welcome. The owners and each member of staff could not do enough for us. They helped us book taxis to get to a wedding, even took a shirt up to the local laundrette for us on the morning of the wedding We ate here almost every evening and food is outstanding! We also had a thoughtful card and gift when we left. We will return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit the beautiful Positano.

Lovely hotel with good views. The staff was extremely helpful in many scenarios. A few good restaurants nearby that are uphill from the center of town, which means better prices and less crowded. It is a hike to the town center, but we enjoyed walking off our meals. The only drawback is the road noise from the rooms, but I kept the review at 5 stars because we got over it since the price was right. We were in room 16 which was very private but still very close to the road. Hint: If taking the SITA, get off at the Chiesma Nuovo stop and then walk downhill, take the stairs to the right (2 sets, take the one on the left of those two), and you'll take a right on the road at the bottom and find it on the right. Or taxi. Or just walk on the road.

Charming boutique hotel in Positano, far enough from the center to be quieter, but close enough to walk down in 10 minutes. It is a lovely hotel with great quality finishes and really thoughtful use of the small space available in the rooms. Beautiful views out to the sea, and a wonderful place to have breakfast at the outdoor area looking down the hill. Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast to keep you going for the day. No on-site parking, but they get the car delivered to the garage and back to hotel, and it's only 200m down the road. Great stay, beautiful city.

Modest room with an amazing view! We very much enjoyed our 4 nights in Positano here at Hotel Villa Gabrisa. The staff was wonderful and helped with all of our requests, from laundry service to restaurant reservations to cab service. We also inquired about their listed wine tasting and they booked a time for us same — day. The tasting was beyond informative, talking about various Italian wines and their origins, as well as including food pairings. Overall an unforgettable trip!

We went there 3 times but after the fourth time they said they only serve hotel guests. (Depends on who is at the front desk)

The room on loop having great view is pretty small and cosy. Also, simple breakfast is good but it should be 1~3 days.

Great restaurant at the restaurant. We didn't stay at the hotel, but as we walked by we stopped at their restaurant. Overlooking the city, the view was spectacular as was the food and wine. It's a walk from the main core, well worth it.

We stayed in Positano for 1 week. We ate at the Hotel Villa Gabrisa restaurant our first night and again on our last night in Positano. It was a short walk from our rented villa and the food, outdoor tables with a view and friendly service can't be beat.

Lialia is lovely! rooms are big and very comfortable.
