Where do I begin? This quaint, cozy, beautiful villa with breathtaking views made my vacation to Amalfi even more special than I had hoped for. The staff which soon felt like family … Luca, Nello, Martina & Luigi, went above and beyond to make our stay extremely comfortable, and an incredible experience. They helped us with everything from restaurant recommendations to booking excursions for us. It was exciting to wake up and know they’d be waiting for us on the terrace with a smile, a cappuccino, and fresh scrambled eggs along with a huge assortment of baked goods, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses etc. Every morning we sat and chatted with them while indulging and learned of beautiful places to visit. When our last day came and it was time to leave I sobbed. They made me feel so welcome that I felt I was leaving my family behind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart my Villa Lara family for making our vacation so memorable. We will be back!

Amazing experience at Villa Annalara. The property is absolutely breathtaking, and the staff and service makes you feel truly at home. Everything from transportation to dinner recommendations was taken care of by the amazing Salvatore, making our trip even more relaxing. Could not recommend Villa Annalara enough. X.

Friendly atmosphere, make you feel homey, the best view.

Absolutely AMAZING experience, beautiful location in the hills of Amalfi, staff is the best, so friendly & helpful. The room was charming & so clean. Breakfast overlooking the town & sea, Nello & his staff made our stay a lifelong memory. We are from Las Vegas, so we know what great hospitality is & this is it!

Avoid Villa Lara! Rooms are cramped and dark with only 1 skylight to let the light in. Management is less than helpful and accommodating. There are cheaper and much better hotels in Amalfi.

Absolutely to try again! The location in the center of Amalfi allows you to walk anywhere even at the pier and beach. Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The view from the terraces with sofas and chairs is fantastic, a highlight of the structure, you can see the sea and the bell tower of the cathedral. Owner Salvatore is kind and provides an important service to organize outings in Amalfi.

It is located in the historic center of Amalfi Conventions with a paid parking.

The views are incredible, as they are in many areas of the town and surround. Staff was friendly and rooms kept clean. Would not change anything on about my decision to stay here.

Stunning villa. Beautiful jasmine fragranced terrace with stunning views. So green and peaceful! Nice room with comfy bed, great shower and gorgeous outlook over the town and mountains. Would stay again ❤️

Little corner of paradise in the always chaotic Amalfi. Staff great and good at advising Local Excellencies. Wonderful donut at breakfast and especially jacuzzi in the fairytale room!

Location in a great location, practically in the centre of Amalfi, guarded car park at €20 per day. It has several rooms on different floors, from dive gide to a panoramic view of the sea. Also the breakfast is great and is served on the terrace with panoramic view. The owner very friendly and helpful. In Amalfi is one of the cheapest, of course those who are in the center; To come back.

The brothers who run this business are very kind, one more than another, Manuel a charm. The hotel has very good views and is quiet. Would go again.

The location is at the top of the main street in Amalfi but just far enough up out of the way to be quiet. There's a lift to get up all the way after a few steps and the view from up top is lovely.

We stayed there the end of July… Everything was perfect… we loved the hospitality and the views from the balcony at breakfast. We brought our adult children with us. Family vacation. We were treated like family. Amalfi is a magical place and the Villa Lara hotel was a perfect place to stay!

High up the hill (there is a lift to get there), fantastic views and very friendly staff.

Beautiful family run hotel in a perfect location in Amalfi. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was one of the best of my trip. Highly recommend!

Awkward entrance infested with mosquitoes. Uncomfortable with luggage and worst of all extremely impolite and very unwelcoming young male receptionist to the extent that we cancelled our booking and left without staying.

My sister and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Villa Lara in October 2008. The best assets of Villa Lara are the employees. From the minute we walked in the door the employees went out of their way to make us feel at home. At breakfast we ate yummy croissants and drank tasty cappuccinos on the terrace overlooking Amalfi and the ocean. After a day of sightseeing we lounged around and read on the patio. After dinner we sat and chatted with the other guests and enjoyed the cool evening air. We stayed in the 100 euro room and found it very nice. It was large and had a well-equipped bathroom with all the essentials. I felt the location of the hotel was perfect; a quick 5 minute walk to the main piazza and very peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay at Hotel Villa Lara again and recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at the Villa Lara for a couple of nights during a visit to the Amalfi Coast. The Villa Lara was the PERFECT place to stay! It is about a 10 minute walk up from the port and in result is situated atop Amalfi. The views from the decks are amazing! The staff (Nelo, Luca and Alessio) were so nice and accommodating with each request we had! The rooms were impeccable, the shower the best we'd experienced in Italy, and the breakfast was tasty! In comparison to many other places to stay in the area, it was extremely affordable. If I ever make it to the Amalfi Coast again, I will definitely stay at the Villa Lara! It was perfect!
