We had a truly memorable dining experience at Villa Adua Restaurant in Tropea. From the moment we arrived, Francesco, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome — his warmth and hospitality set the tone for a wonderful evening.
The meals were absolutely fantastic — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. Every course felt thoughtful and refined, showcasing the best of Calabrian cuisine.
A special mention goes to the Mare Calabria Bianco — a local white wine we enjoyed so much that Francesco generously gifted us a bottle to take home. It was a lovely and unexpected gesture that perfectly summed up the genuine care and pride this restaurant puts into every detail.
With its elegant setting, outstanding food and wine, and heartfelt service, Villa Adua is a must-visit in Tropea. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely return!
A gem of a resto with an absolute delicious international breakfast. Gorgeous clean outdoor seating right in the heart of Tropea on the way to the beach. The smoothie, omelet and French toast were perfect! Service was friendly & so quick! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Adua!

If you don’t want to start your day with sweet pastries this is the place to go, I mean the pastries are all lovely here, but if you are looking for healthier savoury breakfast to take a break from all the sugar and fat, try their breakfast, it wouldn’t compare with the breakfast you get from a proper brunch place in Berlin or Hamburg, but for Tropea standard, this is it. I went there twice during my 4 days stay.
Atmosphere is pleasant, tables are clean and service is welcoming! :)
