SO Smart B&B Tropea

I loved this B&B. Very clean and well presented with attention to detail. Stylish and very authentic with exposed stone. A selection of cakes and tea and coffee provided adding a lovely touch.
Who needs a 5* when a 3* is this good.
Breakfast is at a little restaurant very close by and was disappointing with very little selection. Maybe this was because it was late in the season and there were not the hoards to cater for.

S’O Tropea Suites Review: Due to the original apartment being booked, we were offered alternative accommodation, to be upgraded at their new S’O Suites Tropea, 100 m away from the original self-catering apartment, and we were not disappointed! The Suites are located in Via Carmine, which is a brief walk to the main Centro Storico area, and is perfectly placed for everything. The block of apartments are beautifully decorated and have all ‘mod cons’. From window shutter buttons beside the beds, to LED lighting, fridge, Wi-Fi, air con in bedroom/living area, smart TV, coffee maker, kettle, and everything you need to cook. The water in the fridge was a lovely touch, as well as 2 cornetti (croissants) and jam. The best bit is the amazing terrace overlooking the sea and the Tropea Marina. Sitting outside bathing in the sunshine on the comfortable terrace furniture, with stunning views, and awning, was a real joy. We couldn’t fault the apartment and the bedroom had a double bed and spare single if needed. The double bed was so comfortable, not sure if it was a memory foam mattress, and we slept very well. The communication in advance from Simona and Oscar was great, and the check in was straight forward and was very helpful, explaining how everything worked. The large walk in shower was fab too! All in all, this new development I’m sure will prove to be very popular for visitors to Tropea and comes highly recommended by us.

Very good accommodation. The pension is in an old castle. Near to the beach. Around 5 min walking. Also near to the old city and Duomo. The room (double) was clean and comfy. The breakfast is tasty but the same every day. The bathroom is very spacious. They provide us for free in the lobby: cakes, water, tea or coffee. In the front of the accommodation is a restaurant.
