Tropea Hotels

We stayed at Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort in July 2025, and our experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

We stayed here in August for two weeks and right from the check in, the staff were exceptional. Special mention to Rosalba, Antonio, Patricia and Maria who were all very kind to us and very friendly.

This hotel was absolutely fab, location is perfect with beautiful sun sets from the rooftop or the private beach. Staff are very attentive and kind. Plenty of space, brilliant food.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Infinity Resort in Tropea, and honestly, we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We loved it. Angelo and his family were so welcoming and he even brought us to and from the train station. The place is immaculate and grounds are beautiful.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at the Hibiscus Uno. Angelo and his family were wonderful hosts! We would highly recommend.

This place is great! Just a star less for the place, cause you have to walk a bit to the city. For us no problem, but maybe others have it. Breakfast was fine and the parking in front was perfect.

This was an amazing stay at an amazing property, in such a historical building, it was very important for me to have a view from the historic Tropea Skyline, the room was very comfortable and big,

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropea Blu Maison. It’s set in an original, rustic building full of charm, located right on a beautiful piazza overlooking the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sui Generis Tropea Luxury Rooms! The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully designed.

What a beautiful home away from home experience. Domenico and Domenico greeted us upon our arrival and guided our 2 motorbikes into the wonderful indoor private garage that this property offers.

Stayed for the weekend and it was a lovely surprise. Much well located, great view and the staff was incredibly polite the entire time! Loved it!

My boyfriend and I went to this place to have an aperitif and admire the sunset over Stromboli. We couldn't have made a better choice.

We recently spent 5 days at this wonderful hotel. The location is unbelievable and the views amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast has everything you need to explore this  seaside city.

The short review is that Residenza il Barone can be recommended without reservation as a wonderful, comfortable, and friendly base for a stay in Tropea which we have done now on two occasions.

Residenza Il Barone is my favorite place to stay in Tropea. Saverio goes above and beyond to make sure guests are having fun and enjoying everything that Tropea has to offer.

This place is a true gem in the heart of Tropea – just like Tropea itself is the pearl of Calabria.

One of the best accommodation experiences we have had in 35 years of travel. The owner, Lena, treated my wife and I like family, and nothing was too much trouble.

Il Borghetto was a perfect choice for visiting Tropea.

We stayed at Il Borghetto Resort & Spa this week and had an amazing experience! The property is absolutely beautiful — the grounds are perfectly maintained and incredibly peaceful.

Stayed here for the first week of October in 2022. Overall enjoyed the stay — the hotel has a lot of perks and the staff is really friendly.

Nice cosy small hotel, exellent personal service. Good breakfast and coffee. Nice situation between the beaches and harbour. My personal recommendation. 😊

Me and my dad stayed in Tropea for 14 days (5. — 19.9. ) and I chose the accommodation in Casa Scirocco and that was THE BEST move I could make. We traveled more then 1900km and we arrived around 9am.

Peaceful Paradise in the Heart of Calabria! 🌴
Villa D’Aquino is a hidden gem that stole our hearts.

My wife and I travelled from Australia and were lucky enough to stay at La Conchiglia for four nights. We had the most perfect stay and couldn’t have asked for better service and hosts.

We had an absolutely magnificent stay at this beautifully B&B in Tropea. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel genuinely welcome—so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.

Perfect location in the historic center of Tropea, close to the beach and the train station. Rooms clean and well-kept.

Lovely little b&b. Local to all shops and restaurants. Will definitely return.

The hosts were really friendly and tried their best, although we had a language barrier and nobody spoke English. It is approx. A 10 min walk from Tropea's old town.

I have nothing bad to say about this place.
Service is awesome, rooms a clean and comfortable. AC is working strong, the breakfast from 8am to 10am has lots of choices and is delicious.

Giuseppe was super, always on hand for recommendations and tips.
The rooms are basically brand new and are in turn spotless. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed and a balcony with chairs.

+ Francesca always responded promptly to messages and gave us lots of tips for things to do and restaurants, and she also gave us a parasol.

We stayed for 1 week in this splendid b&b located in a position that allowed us to reach the center in 2 minutes on foot.

Less than 10 mins walk from the station and less than 10 minutes walk the many restaurants, bars, shops etc of lovely Tropea.
Very handy for a supermarket.

We loved this hotel in Tropea. Very close to center of town so no need to drive. But far enough to be away from noise. Domenico at the front desk was super helpful and nice!

This hotel is wonderful! They are right on the main street close to all of the food and a short walk to the beach.

We recently stayed here and loved the location. We had issues with the air con for 2 days and was told everything was working well which it was wasn't as it was faulty.
