A book would not be enough to describe how beautiful and pleasant our stay at the Talao hotel was. I summarize by saying that kindness, courtesy, comfort of services, pleasant environment, great food, great and nice beach service and pleasant company have made us really nice this week. And what about animation? There are no adjectives suitable enough to describe when these guys are wonderful. They gave us such beautiful, fun, special moments that leaving them was a great disappointment. Prince, Gabriele, Iris we will never forget you, you are truly extraordinary guys and your genuineness and sweetness mixed with so much joy and skill makes you unique. Thank you very much.

We have used the hotel’s swimming pool every summer since 2007. The hotel has changed greatly since! This year the hotel pool has been renovated and it’s absolutely fantastic! Clear water, lovely steps into the pool and the pool isn’t too deep. The pool is located very close to the beach. We always receive great service when we go to the Talao, it truly is an excellent place!

My wife and I were on holiday in this wonderful wonderful hotel where we had a really good time, we want to remember with affection the priceless spontaneous friendliness and sympathy of everyone starting with Director Antonio, Ada, all the beach staff true connoisseurs of high musical quality, lifeguards and the very high kitchen and waiters and finally a special greeting to the talented and in our opinion from the bright professional future Paolo and Federico the latter who in our opinion has great potential to musical composition, giant pillars of animation discreet but engaging, nice and spontaneous, in short a holiday to remember with so much nostalgia. It is beautifully situated in Scalea, the Hotel is super, the food was super good, very friendly staff and the owners of the hotel have been very accommodating for me, extra kitchen without onions and garlic. I can only recommend, Thank you for the super support.

The place is very nice the hotel is clean and welcoming and also you eat great. The property's staff is available and open to all customer requests. Also there is the pool, and there is the beach attached to the hotel a few meters away. The rooms are also cosy and large there is the TV in the room and the safe. We were at the Talao for a week's holiday in mid-June, the first things you notice are the smiles of the staff and their courtesy, always available in responding to the requests of those who, like us, did not know the area.
The owner explains that the business, started by her parents in the early 70s, is still run by the family. The common areas are beautiful, clean and well organized; the swimming pool quite large and with children's area, also has a lot of space around and continuing you arrive at the private beach and always managed by the hotel; here too it is evident the good organization and the great friendliness of the staff throughout.
The recently tasted rooms are spacious and have a very large terrace which is like having an extra room; If the view is sea side you can also enjoy the romantic sunsets. Another strong point is the restaurant that daily serves dishes of great quality and goodness. The variety of dishes is wide and at each meal you can choose between meat and fish. Taste and delicacy served as always with a smile. Last chapter is dedicated to animation, always cheerful guys without ever being intrusive and well coordinated by the manager; all together they cheered up days and evenings. A special thank you for the patience in stopping anyway to exchange a few words, knowing full well that I would not do activities except for the beach volleyball. Concluding a place to stay really well and in good company, strongly recommended!

The hotel is located at a strategic point. There is a convenient outside parking lot. It is next to the thalamus tower and a few hundred meters from the old town. The staff is nice and courteous. I really appreciate the air of confidentiality that you breathe from the entrance. Family management for me is another strong point. The rooms are comfortable and those sea side have a nice view.

Great point of reference to visit the area. Special and welcoming people. Great food. We arrived to celebrate the last of the year, we were surprised with mega dishes all fish based. Very good cleanliness too. Mrs. Ada and her staff have made our days pleasant. To be redone definitely.

It's one of my favorite hotels… well mannered staff, great food. Very nice hotel, with spacious and clean rooms… The sea then is spotless but the hotel also has the Pool. :-)

Great value, clean rooms and ideal location with sea views. Dated decor and a lack of a bar menu but offers a delicious breakfast including a fresh cornetto, cakes, bread and cheese and meat.

I had never been to Calabria. I was enchanted by the beauty of the places and the friendliness of the People. At the hotel Talao we were pampered, a nice environment that makes you feel in the Family. I'm going to come back Soon.

Riviera de lux room. The room is small. For 2 people with luggage for a long stay, I suppose, impossibly small. For 1 person is more or less suitable. Hotel is clean. Quality of food matches 3***. Once a week hotel offers a special menu. Private beach is very clean. Big balcony. Staff is very polite. In general service is very good. Hotel is situated near the city center.

All with private beach on the beautiful sea of Scalea. Good and varied cuisine with typical Calabrian cuisine. Staff courteous and helpful. Wi-Fi and parking. I went to work but I find it ideal for a family holiday. I will be back.

Gorgeous kitchen, menu varied. Including a children's menu. Child 2 years and 2 months, ate everything offered! The pool does not appear! Unfortunately, that is impossible to swim in the sea with the child, because the meter from the beach-and the sharp bottom! The staff are friendly and cheerful. Animators-young guys-entertained children singing and dancing! It was fun! We will go again if only there.

An ideal hotel with friendly service at the ideal place. Simple, clean rooms and a good meal. Very good for southern Italy.
