The Masseria is a traditional rural estate surrounded by oak trees. It is surrounded by a low wall made of stones and includes 20 Trulli, which are stone dwellings typical of the Puglia region.
Just outside the village of San Paolo in the Valle d'Itria countryside, Masseria Tagliente is in a 180-hectare private grounds. It is 15 minutes' drive from Martina Franca and offers a brand-new swimming pool.
The Tagliente Masseria is actually a working farm with plenty of cows and horses. It has its own chapel and a sun terrace around the pool.
Rooms have a rustic design and a private bathroom. They overlook the garden or offer a view of the rural surroundings with the sea in the distance.
In nearby San Polo, you can visit the butcher's and fishmonger's which become cosy places to eat in the evenings.
