We stayed here for 12 nights and, unfortunately, we left quite disappointed. While the location was truly lovely – close to everything and very charming – the rest of the experience did not live up to our expectations.
The room was extremely small, and the bed was very uncomfortable, with springs that made it almost impossible to sleep properly. During our entire stay, no one came to clean the room even once. Towels were changed only once, and we had to take out our own trash and maintain everything ourselves – which felt more like renting a private apartment than staying at an accommodation listed on Booking or TripAdvisor.
We also felt that foreign tourists are not particularly welcomed here. Communication was difficult – although we tried, the owners made no effort to speak English, especially the lady, which made us feel excluded and uncomfortable. Her focus seemed to be entirely on money – constantly trying to sell us services we did not ask for or need. When we politely declined, her attitude changed noticeably, and she was clearly upset with us.
Moreover, at check-out, she seemed annoyed when we came to pick up our luggage a bit earlier, even though we had left it at reception with prior agreement.
We appreciate that this is a family-run place and that the gentleman was kind at times, but overall, we felt unwelcome and overlooked. Hospitality should come with genuine care, not pressure or disinterest.
