I guess because of places like this Israelis prefer traveling abroad for their vacations… no value for money here:/ Here’s a place that sounded great as a concept beforehand — isolated cabins in the middle of the desert, beautiful view and some time away. It sounded like a great treat after a long time without a vacation. Weekends aren’t cheap here but we booked two nights in July in the Shizaf cabin (which should be the most luxurious and it’s the most expensive as a result). Coming in the first night we realized it’s a nice concept and that’s it — cabins were outdated and poor with no attention to details. And I’m not speaking of poor as humble with simple design for the purpose of glorifying nature and connecting back to the basics. No. Poor as cheaply done. Books and magazines (from last year) were put in the room but were torn from being used so much, the Checkers was missing pieces that were replaced with corks of beer bottles. Cheap soaps in the bathroom and fried pans as if we were staying in a youth hostel. Why do I need to pay so much money and still see the leftovers of the previous guests? It was clear the cabins were built around 15 years ago, the furniture was bought in Home Center or alike and wasn’t replaced since then. The service was nice when we met it but almost non existent. Guys, You have a great concept, beautiful view, but zero sense of hospitality.
