Just returned from another relaxing 2 night stay at the lodge. Rooms are clean and comfortable with stunning views. Although I think the impeccable customer services from all staff members is what makes this hotel so special. Staff go above and beyond to make you enjoy your stay. Great selection on their breakfasts and evening menus, food will not disappoint. The spa and swimming pool are clean and is an extra bonus to help you relax and unwind. I highly recommend and look forward to returning again in the future.

My son and his beautiful wife had their wedding reception in the Ballyliffen lodge on Friday. I have to say it was absolutely brilliant. The service, the food, the rooms were nothing short of excellent. And a special mention to the service staff. The guest s commented how great they were. A credit to Ballyliffen lodge.

Absolutely fantastic spot for a wedding, very accommodating and friendly, everything went perfectly, the views for photos are great and only 2 minutes away from the beach, food was fantastic, would highly recommend.

From the moment I looked in to booking treatments for 4 people through to leaving the hotel the service was perfect. Nothing was too much. Elaine greeted us alongside Emmett. We were well looked after, our treatments were simply wonderful. The kindness shown when adjustments were needed was second to none. I would highly recommend the spa — Elaine and Emmett can’t be rated highly enough.

Absolutely loved our stay here, staff where so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the place is absolutely beautiful and the garden outside is stunning, thank you all for making our stay so brilliant 😊 it was so good we booked again for next year while we where there. 5* all round.

We had a wonderful day. Facilities were excellent. The staff and therapist were warm friendly and attentive which made our time there even better. Treatments were excellent also I will definite be back for more.

We had our wedding venue at the ballyliffin Lodge and Spa and it was everything we had imagined and hope for. Lauren and all the staff made our day perfect from start to finish nothing was impossible. The food was amazing all our guest enjoyed it and were amazed by the service, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Wish we could do it all over again. Thank you so much xx.

Had dinner at the hotel after confirmation on Sunday what a fabulous meal the staff was so nice couldn’t do enough, one very nice thing happened the girl who made her confirmation received a gift from the hotel it just made her day more special I thought it was so thoughtful well done.

Stayed last week Sunday to Tuesday was an delight. Staff were fabulous such a friendly bunch from reception to bar to leisure all so helpful and have a smile on there faces. Room was beautiful so big for kids to play and stunning views. Can’t wait to get married here this August☺️

Just back from a 2 day break for my mums 80th birthday and from start to finish the staff were absolutely amazing they cudnt do enough for us during our stay and nothing was an effort… food in the hotel was also amazing and very reasonably priced… mum even got a surprise of the morning of her birthday at breakfast when the manager Colm called everyone's attention to congratulate her, whilst handing her a beautifully decorated plate saying happy birthday on it… cudnt fault this hotel and the great team of staff… excellent keep up the great work will certainly be back again SOON.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is very good.

Just returned after a 3 night stay, such a great staycation. The hotel has loads of amenities, very clean and well maintained. We love the fact that the hotel is always updating the experience, the addition of the terrace with those views was inspired. The staff are all excellent, make you feel so special and cater for your every need. Special thanks go to Claire and Marcin from the front desk who organised the room we wanted and gave us a special welcome. There is also Helen who served our Breakfast and Colm who always asked if there was anything else needed. Antony from the bar/restaurant made our night meals, ensuring we got the best table option available, and always had time to chat to share his knowledge about the area and took interest in our plans. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, even when we needed new towels the cleaning staff went and got them straight away. Our thanks to the Chef and his team, all the meals were excellent, they were also flexible in changing the dish to suit our tastes. If you want a 5 star experience then I would look no further, cannot wait to go back for another chilled, battery recharge break. Ken and Louise.

Lovely relaxing night away, just what the doctor ordered for a January. The staff are really lovely and the rooms are lovely really comfortable. The food I’m the bar is second to none and really reasonable prices. The pool is lovely clean and well maintained, I e we I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel. Kids got santa hats at check in, which they were delighted with. Staff In Jack's bar very friendly and helpful. And also the guy in the leisure centre very helpful with my toddler and gave him toys to help him enjoy his swim. We will be back.

I was the very lucky winner of a voucher for Supervalu from Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel and Spa. We had a family birthday to celebrated and this was a huge help. We got lots of delicious treats! Just home from a fantastic weekend to celebrate my partners birthday. All the staff were amazing. The food exceptional, so much so stayed for the Carvery after we checked out. Would highly recommend this gem of a place. We will be back.

Service second to none! My cousin got married in the lodge recently and I couldn't thank the staff enough, they all deserve a pat on the back!
Everything was like a well-oiled machine when it came to the dinner service the food ticked all the boxes, came out at the perfect temp was very tasty and we were all offered second helpings, a few people at our table had dietary requirements and all the staff were more than helpful accommodating this. I also noticed how professional Madeleine was on the microphone when announcing the bridal party she really set the mood! finally, the venue itself was immaculate from the lobby through to the toilets, I would 100% recommend this place

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great food and great entertainment. The staff were extremely friendly especially the bar man. This hotel is spotless. My massage was top class and I would highly recommend the spa for anyone. Will return soon.

Outstanding hotel. We got married here on Friday and I have to say can't fault a single thing. Nothing was a bother to any of the staff. They really made our day so so special. Madeline was brilliant and anything we ask she was their straight away. We had a wee one that has a nut allergy and she was there on the ball making sure everything was prefect. Thanks again.

Hotel set in very nice area with a stunning view from the front of the hotel of the sea and beach. Nice staff and food but let down by loud noise from wedding guests and entertainment to 3am. Strangely the hotel acknowledges this but only provide earplugs when you check into your room. We had asked for a quiet room so we left tired and frustrated that they hadn't let us know that ALL their rooms are prone to noise. Would give it 4 stars if they fixed the noise instead of just providing earplugs!

Great hotel stayed several times good food rooms are first class, drink is pricey.

What a wonderful Hote! l The food is delicious, the staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered and the location is perfect. We spent three wonderful days here and it was extremely good value for what we paid. We will definitely go back again!

Nice hotel with decent leisure and pool facilities. Good view of the strand if you sit outside. Would recommend giving the Sunday buffet style carvery a try (especially if you're on a budget). Hard to beat 5 courses for €20 and the quality of the food and service is good.

A bit disappointed, took family and two young kids and showered in the room instead of pool, however unbelievably the hotel does not have any shampoo. I rang receptionist who confirmed the s. Had to go to the shop, the man in the shop couldn’t believe it! Could of brought our own but assumed they would of had some. They do provide hand soap in a bottle to wash your hair! Also before booking check there is not a wedding or diner dance on as music thunders up through the two floors, zero sound insulation. A Shame as food good and great location.

Just back from weekend break at ballyliffin lodge. Had amazing time here. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Had couple of great treatments and they were fantastic, highly recommend the back massage. Great facilities and lovely food and very good service. Can't wait to return again.

We stayed in the Ballyliffen Lodge on Wednesday 7th February 2018 and had a wonderful time. We were up graded to the honeymoon suite which was a brilliant surprise and it was absolutely gorgeous, pure luxury. The food as always was perfect and the place has a great atmosphere and also some nice places to sit and have a drink. The staff are so pleasant and helpful and really make you feel at home. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing setting, very friendly and attentive staff. Great food. Ask for sea view if possible. The spa on the basement with pool, sauna, steam room, gym and hot tub is a real bonus and complimentary for all guests. The restaurant food is high quality and even the Jack's bar food is worth trying — all reasonably priced.

Had our friends 50th there at weekend. Beautiful hotel, rooms excellent and very spacious, treatments well worth it, food and staff 10/10 will definitely be back, and would definitely recommend. Xf.

My first time ever to visit ballyliffin lodge hotel. An amazing experience, from the moment my husband and I arrived at the hotel… 1st class… staff are lovely always making sure your okay, if you ask for anything nothing is to much trouble. Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel never fails to impress, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the only negative is that maybe the menu needs updating, could do with some new options.

We got married in the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa on the 16th December and we couldn’t fault it at all. We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for how smoothly everything went on Saturday! We were getting compliments all day from our guests about how beautiful the hotel was, from the kind staff to how amazing the food was. Yourselves and the rest of the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. Your all so kind! We wouldn’t choose the Ballyliffin Lodge & spa ten times over. If I could give more stars I would! Just had my wedding there on the 25th of November, and nothing was too much for them. Everything was amazing from the food to the staff. A special thanks to madeline who made everything run like clockwork. Also to nathan who made the run up to the wedding problem free and ironed out all the finer details. Last but not least, they got us the most amazing babysitter for our kids, I wanted to take her home with me she was excellent. So massive thanks to each and every one of the team.

We had our wedding here on 17th November 2017 and could not fault the hotel or the staff there. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone went out of their way to accommodate us. Special mention to Nathan, who dealt with us so well in the booking and lead up to the wedding, and to Madeline and Nicole who were both exceptional on the wedding day itself. We felt like the most important couple in the world and we had literally the best day ever, thanks in no small part to the …staff here and how smoothly everything ran. All of our guests commented on the how good the hotel, staff and food was.

Lovely staff nothing to much bother. Lovely views, food and service good. Liesure center enjoyed by husband and grandsons. If I had to say a bad point would be the very hot bedrooms.

Appears to be a very nice place. My wife and I couldn't get in because of a large wedding. Only one person working on the front desk and it was taking a long time for guests to check in.

Lovely hotel very friendly staff and nothing is hassle. Although on each visit I have been noticing the portions and quality of the pub food in jacks decreasing with each visit. Which is a shame as it was such a great bonus to this fabulous hotel.

We got married on Saturday the 2nd September and we were overwhelmed by how amazing the staff were at the lodge. A huge thank you to Madeline who is a true professional and made our wedding day absolutely flawless, she took away any stress and was always at hand to help with everything including the run up to our wedding day. The food and service was second to none, we really were bowled over with the professionalism of all the staff. So many thanks to u all, you really made our wedding day extra special. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is planning on getting married in Donegal, the grounds are beautiful and everyone was so helpful. Much love to all concerned Mr and mrs perry.

Lovely hotel, staff are friendly but don't expect to stay healthy as the food is amazing. The food and drink is a good price. No need to drink in your room. Would go back but do bare in mind there isn't much around to do but for a break or romantic get away, its perfect. Spa and pool was clean and tidy.

We spent two nights here in February 2016 and it was the best Christmas gift ever. The Hotel is spotless and very relaxing. The people who work here all so very friendly and helpful. The food in Jacks Restaurant was very good and good value. Speaking with other guests all were enjoying the hotel. The area the hotel is in is nice and quite with great sea views. We drove round the coast and so much to see and do. Excellent will be back.

Not much one can criticise about this hotel except that maybe its time to re jig their menu, food is good but nothing special.

The Ballyliffin hotel was the cleanest place I have ever ate. The food was lovely as well as the presentation. Lot of friendly staff and a huge kids room. If you are anywhere near ballyliffen go to eat there.

Wow! This place is so tranquil and the staff are completely awesome. There was never anything too much bother for them to do. If was certainly service with a smile and we have booked back again in Easter for another couple of nights. The breakfast was beautiful and Colm chats to all his guests in a very friendly manner, making them feel welcome and part of the family. We can't wait until Easter to go back again. p. S. Bring a swimming cap if you want to go into the pool. Like all hotels, it's a requirement. Don't worry if you don't have one as you can purchase one for 3 Euros.

I have been to this hotel for weddings on a few occasions, both as a guest and videographer and can honestly say it is a fantastic venue. The staff are always friendly and the food is great too. I sometimes like to stop off for a bowl of soup if I'm surfing down at Pollan Beach at the weekends too. Oh and I brought the kids to Santa's Grotto last year for the first time, very good show. Made me wish I was 5 again :)
