I recently had a dinner here for my 19th. I can not fault this place. The service was amazing from start to finish and the food was delicious. They really went the extra mile and I hope to come back someday.

Super spa cation break. Superb 90 minute Ground Wellbeing massage by Caroline — Highly, highly recommend — adheres to your pressure requirement. Staff throughout very friendly and food amazing. Pack some walking shoes to enjoy the surrounding trails and I also recommend the horse riding.

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at the hotel with our small children. We as parents & the kids had a holiday ehete we all enjoyed ourselves.
Everything was catered for and we relaxed as parents.
The food is Devine ❤️❤️ All the staff are so friendly and helpful.
Cannot wait to return.

Exceptional weeks stay throughly enjoyed by all. Even with bad weather last week, kids, adults & dogs had a ball. From swimming, tennis, pony rides, play ground, fairy garden & an excellent kids club, we had a busy week! Not to mention the amazing meals each day & staff that simply can’t do enough to help. Wasn’t our 1st time staying & definitely won’t be our last.

One of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in while visiting Ireland — will definitely be coming back! The room was a “family room”, consisting of two rooms sleeping 5 with a huge patio to enjoy. High end bath products, upgraded rooms and facilities, and fantastic customer service make this one of our new favorite homes away from our home. Very close to town, and equipped with a wonderful onsite restaurant and cozy (though large enough for a group! ) bar. 10/10

The setting in stunning scenery, great location, excellent food, the tranquil and comfortable ambience: wonderful colour scheme and design — by far one of the loveliest hotels I've ever experienced. Pricy, but so, so worth it.

We had Sunday Lunch here today while listening to the jazz band. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive and could not do enough for us. Big thanks to Jason and our amazing waitress (friendly blonde haired girl). We will be back.

This is a very cool property and hotel — nicely located near the gap and with amazing grounds. Food was amazing, breakfast was super awesome after hiking the gap!

A terrific country retreat in the beautiful Co Kerry within walking distance of the gap of Dunloe. The service is immaculate and there are little touches, like fruit in your room, and can do attitude undertaken by the staff that make you feel really special.

I photographed a wedding in the Dunloe hotel and must say it was perfectly suited to host a wedding. The light in the brides room on the morning was perfect, lots of space, and wood details helped with many of my shots. The groom also got ready here and his room was also perfectly suited. The setting at the foot of the Gap of Dunloe is just spectacular! I’d highly recommend it for any couples looking for a wedding venue!

We were a family of four that stayed in this wonderful hotel for three nights. The girls enjoyed the ponies and the fishing. They even caught a small fish but popped him back into the river. The dining room is magnificent inside and with the view outside of the Gap of Dunloe. All staff were great. Will definitely be back — loved it, loved it and loved it.

Booked into this so called five star hotel today, I will never set foot in the place again. I love killarney and its the first and last time I will stay here. I should have known from the start when we had to ring three times to ask for email confirmation for our booking. We booked the family deal here for 3 nights for 990 euro and my partner specifically asked while booking for the family room with the adjoining room for our two and four year old as it has no access to the corridor and balcony etc. We received the email and presumed what we had booked over the phone was contained in the email. Booked in today and we were put in a room all together. We went back to the reception, they moved us to a room with another adjoining and has access to the corridor and a balcony. So now im going to have to sleep in the room with the children to ensure their safety that they dont go out into the corridor or out on the balcony. No dvd players in the room as were in the family rooms for the kids. I had to walk away from the receptionist as they werent helpful as all they could tell me was oh all the family rooms were booked out. I am fuming this is the whole reason we booked here for this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. No false notes. Original decoration. A very attentive, pleasant and very friendly staff. The park is just lavish. Three days of fun.

We will not say it’s a hotel we feel like our home here at Dunloe and you know guys this hotel is simply amazing. After 8 days we are not feeling going from here. My 10 year old son had a lot of activities like : horse riding, swimming, gym, coloring, tennis, playing with friends, finally Ends up with a cinema here played from 6-9 and you know all of these activities are complimentary here! Everyday he is starting activities here from 10am until 9pm in the night and he never wants to go out with us to see places outside. All the staff are so friendly and have no words explain their hospitality. Definitely coming back next year to see all of you. Thanks Dunloe.

June 2nd we married in Fossa church followed by a reception that exceeded all of our expectations @the Dunloe Hotel & Gardens.
Our wedding (the first in the newly refurbished hotel) was spectacular from start to finish.
This venue is in a league of its own, so beautiful, the new decor is so classy & trendy, the views are breathtaking, the staff & standard of service oozes 5star training & attention to detail, the food was to die for. The drinks reception area with an outdoor garden terrace is amazing especially in the sunshine.
The Park Suite function room with floor to ceiling glass views of the surrounding countryside & beautiful horses in the gardens is magical on a summers day. After our delicious meal we had a BBQ pig on a spit out on the balcony close to midnight that left our guests watering at the mouth.
This venue has it all as a destination wedding venue, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks to Jason, Kayla & The Dunloe team for looking after our every request, nothing was a problem, the only problem is we wish we could go back & do it all over again.

Beautiful grounds, nice update on hotel and the friendliest staff I've ever met. Unfortunately the heater wouldn't shut off in the room first night and the manager gave us fans and had to open window. Next night they didn't fix heater and had us change rooms. Water didn't get hot for shower in first room and no room had tea kettle or bucket to get ice. Very dissatisfied.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Fantastic Hotel since being refurbished, great food, fantastic family rooms and really set up well for the kids… special separate kids buffet, kids club, pony riding, fantastic playground, beautiful grounds… a real gem and great to be able to enjoy a 5 star hotel with the kids.

Stayed one night on a bed breakfast and evening meal basis. Really bad signposting so found it on a wing and a prayer. Beautiful location. Beautiful bedroom and view of the gap. Great staff but only been open a few weeks so some basics missing. No breakfast menu. Poor selection for breakfast compared to Muckross House. Room key stopped working just before 12 noon so had to get unlocked to retrieve luggage to check out. Great friendly staff. Sure it will settle down with umbrellas on the patio and when the gardens are finished and the grass grows.

An absolute amazing experience. The hotel is looking fantastic. I brought my wife for an anniversary lunch and the food was 10 out of 10. The dining room staff were brilliant and the hotels general manager made us feel so welcomed along with the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend The Dunloe for any occasion or just to drop in for a bite.

Excellent setting, excellent food, very friendly staff.

A generally good experience, but I’ll go into some detail for the sake of completeness and because they just did a multimillion dollar renovation to the premises which bears commenting on. On arrival we checked in, were given our keys and headed upstairs. I will note that unfortunately the front desk didn’t explain to us any of the amenities the property had, aside from that there was a pool and fitness center. It would take hearing about the other options from the manager who was about the restaurant at dinner time as asking what people thought of the property/if we had any questions. The new renovations were fantastic from a structural perspective. I will note that I think the hotel maybe opened a little earlier than it should have. You’ll see from my pictures that the landscaping isn’t quite done yet, which means that if you get a room that doesn’t face the Dunloe Gap your view is dominated by unkempt muddy/dirty areas — this is an unfortunate situation, especially when you have rented a superior room. Perhaps it would have been helpful to be notified of this prior to the room being booked, perhaps an alert on the website could have avoided this disappointment. I will say that at the current point, you would want a room number X01-X07, as the floors increase the views will get better but frankly, the state of the back area currently does not justify staying in any of the rooms not over looking the Gap.

Nice experience overall. Staff were extremely friendly. The pool was a bit cool for my daughter. Breakfast was great. No bar food when we asked and the restaurant was closed from 5.30 to 6 when we were looking to eat but we went into Killarney and got food instead.

Absolute luxury hotel in a fantastic location. Very noble, very classy. Blue Salon, green salon, open fireplace here and there… Reading Room… Located directly by the lake and by the river. Ideal for relaxing — prices rather fierce. But true luxury. Always happy.

Lovely quiet area with all the amenities you could ask for. Horse riding and fishing with loaner rod to name but a few. Wonderful view up the valley, with sheep, cows and goats on the property, along with the horses. Close to the National Park and the rest of Kerry at you door. Loved it.

Wonderful service during a wedding reception. Most of the food was delicious except for the beef in my entrée, which was somewhat gamey.
