Had a lovely stay at this hotel food was great rooms were so clean and the service was excellent.

When arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly Willie. He was extremely helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and is spacious. The food was very tasty and a lovely and friendly young lady called Fia served us drinks. She even made me my favourite shooter that is not well known in Ireland. Geraldine who served our food was very on the ball and was ready to address anything we needed. Would highly recommend this place. Good value for money & the staff is great! It was a good place to go for our first outing after covid. ❤

Staff couldn't have been more helpful, they made you feel welcome. The restaurant was okay and the food was well prepared and cooked in clear view of were most visitors can it being cooked in front of you. Well done everyone, and the breakfast was also very, very good and sets you up for the day. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.

I and Paddy enjoy dining out at Con's at the River Island Hotel. We always receive fantastic service. I recommend Con's in Castle Island County Kerry. Fantastic place and people.

B&Bs Beds are Beds but the Breakfast that Mary Ann creates for you is world class. If in the area (Kilarney to Tralee) this is the place for a traditional friendly and homely stay.

Quiet, clean… Standard accommodation, good Wi-Fi but the coverage can improve in some rooms, good food.

Hotel cosi, the most authentic of the three where we went, corresponding to the image of Ireland. Cozy atmosphere, carefully decorated, do not hesitate to curl up in the armchairs of the lounge. Kitchen neat. It just feels good.

Excellent stay despite heating in room not working Daniel provided a heater immediately.
Dining room was closed as we arrived late but we took Daniels advice too eat at the local Chinese and it was excellent.
We ordered room service for breakfast and it arrived pupil hot and plenty too eat.
Despite weather being awful we loved our stay.

Great food in cons restaurant, lovely and friendly staff in the centre of town, good location for touring Kerry, ideal for a golf holiday with Castleisland and other courses near by.

Wonderful stay staff are so helpful cannot do enough for you very friendly will be back.

The River Island Hotel. What can I say. I tried emailing Mark Zuckerberg to see would he make an exception and allow me to leave a 10 star review but to no avail. Where do I even start when describing this haven. A home away from home really. Starting with the polished and glistening woodwork outside the hotel to the stunning receptionists Deirdre and Willie behind the desk this place really is something to behold. With the exception of Doris upstairs all the staff are truly …in a league of their own. The con's bar staff, although they aren't bosses, will go above and beyond for you with a beautiful smile on their faces. We stayed to visit distant relatives and Geraldine happily spent 20 minutes giving us our family history, and she wasn't even related to us! Dervala served us our delicious breakfast and the nicest pot of tea I've ever had in my 41 years experience, though when I said that to her she told me I didn't look a day over 25!? I cannot recommend this place enough, exceptional food served both in Cons and upstairs for Sunday lunch. Looking forward to the next funeral so we can return and hear all about Breda's grandchild Nora! A million stars!
