Avarest Bunratty B&B

We stayed at Avarest Bunratty the first night we arrived in Ireland. Dierdra took such good care of us and recommended some good places to visit while we were in Ireland. Breakfast was divine and the room was very clean and lovely. We strolled through the streets nearby for a morning walk and loved it around there. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Very good indeed great full Irish brekkie my daughter had salmon and scrambled eggs and my 8 year old grandson had pancakes with bananas and oranges and of course his favourite Nutella room was spotless could have done with a small bin to help keep the room tidy highly recommended host was lovely and very accommodating top class recommended.

This B&B is close to Shannon Airport. The family was very nice and really saved me. I didn't have any euros to pay for my taxi to the airport, and she allowed me to do cash back from her credit card service. The rooms were cozy and comfortable.

Along with two granddaughters, we arrived at the B&B early evening, sleep-deprived after a seven hour flight delay. We were warmly greeted by the innkeeper, Deidre McInerney, who booked a dinner reservation for us at Durty Nelly's. The rooms were comfortable, we all slept well and had a fine late breakfast before departing for the Cliffs of Moher.

Really nice house, clean and spatious rooms, all the rooms well furnished. Good Irish breakfast in a lovely room.
The owner Is a very kind lady, helpful and friendly with guests.
Strictly recommended for all kind of people and families who look for tranquillity and authentic Irish holiday!

We loved our stay at Avarest! We only got to stay for one night, but this place was super close to Bunratty Castle, which we adored. We reserved the family suite and it was very clean, comfortable, and we loved the little sky light for during the rain to watch the rain pour down. I left my coat there, and Desiree, the owner, mailed it to me in perfect condition. I really appreciate her and we hope to stay again!

This is a lovely B&B close to the airport yet in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous and quiet area. Deidre was incredibly open and friendly. Our family was quite comfortable in the family room. Great shower and water pressure and very comfy beds. It was our last night in Ireland and wonderful way to top off a wonderful visit. Highly recommend!

Our group of six only spent 1 night at the Avarest Bunratty B&B in May 2023 but wish it had been more. It is a gorgeous country house only a short drive from Shannon Airport. We had one room in the main house and a massive family room in the side wing. The beds were very comfortable and the large bathrooms had all the necessary amenities along with wonderful showers. There are also cute bunnies in the back garden.
Breakfast was delicious, with the highlight being a full Irish but several other hot options on offer. They were able to accommodate the food allergies of our group and provide both gluten free and nut free options.
Deirdre is an absolute gem of a host. She helped our driver figure out where to take us for dinner the night we arrived and coordinated taxi rides for us to get to the airport in the morning.
Absolutely recommend a stay at Avarest Bunratty B&B if visiting the area near Shannon and Limerick.

Deirdre was a wonderfully accommodating host, so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to be her guest. She was always helpful and insightful for advice to supplement your plans for the day. Breakfast was an incredible treat every day with a delightful selection of items.
This location was absolutely superior for its proximity to Shannon Airport with very quick drives to cliffs of Moher, Limerick and Galway and just a couple hours to Cork and Dublin.

Conveniently located in Bunratty, not far from Limerick, a good stop between Clare and Kerry counties.
The room is nice, the place quiet. The host Deirdre is nice.
The breakfast was very good (choices between irish and pancakces).
Wi-fi was a bit unstable.

We rented the family room and absolutely loved our stay here. Diedre was so incredibly kind and welcoming. It is a little out of the way, but absolutely quaint and perfect.
The kids kept asking if we were staying in place like Avarest B& B during our entire trip. Diedre guided us on how to send stuff home and had great recommendations.
The room and place was very clean. There were very clean toys for the kids to play with. We had a wonderful stay… make sure you have the Irish bread in the morning. It is absolutely delicious!

Deidre and her family have created the perfect B&B. We stayed two nights when we arrived into the Shannon airport and wandered around Limerick. The breakfasts were wonderful, no "hungry henrys" here! Our room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was perfect for the two of us. (We know not to expect huge bathrooms in Ireland! ) The house itself is lovely, and it was wonderful to walk down the lanes to see the countryside. We enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast. I highly recommend Avarest B&B.
