I had the Sea Bass. Tender flakey fish and crisp skin. Nicely presented. Service was prompt, courteous without being over-bearing. Kitchen deserves compliments because they also served a large crowd of post-funeral guests. Tomorrow, going back and off my planned travel route to try their breakfast menu.

This hotel and the gastro pub is the place to be. Comfortable rooms with amazing food. The Gastro pub dinner and breakfast is not to be missed. The chef here knows how to cook and the gluten free options at dinner and breakfast were the best i’ve had. The staff were fabulous. . 💕💕💕

I had my engagement party here and couldn't recommend it enough for any kind of event. We were given a private room with a private bar and toilets, Joan looked after us so well through out the booking process and Calvin at the bar was just brilliant, he makes amazing cocktails and will recommend plenty as well 😉

Had a lovely stay in this very tastefully renovated boutique hotel in Shannon. The staff was great, well appointed modern rooms and dinner in the Lodge was delicious!

So we booked a room here as our little 4 year old wanted to visit Santa in bunratty castle. Before we made our journey, we contacted the hotel staff to confirm about restrictions. We were told there is no restriction for guests. Sadly upon arrival we were met by an arrogant restaurant manager who told us the restrictions had changed and it’s now LAW that we could not eat or drink in the bar or restaurant without proving we were both jabbed with an experimental drug! It’s ok for us to sit in the lobby or in our room just not in the bar or restaurant, pretty clever virus if you ask me (we had negative pcr test results to show but he didn't care) anyway, then we were told we could leave and get a refund. With a 4 year old so excited to see Santa. 1 of the west hotels I’ve ever stayed in by far.

Friendly, clean and amazing food. We stayed with our family and friends. The staff are amazing 🤩 my youngest is autistic and they couldn’t do enough, they gave us the same table for breakfast each morning and dinner so he was so happy, this was great for us all to relax. I would defo stay again and highly recommend. Big thank you to everyone.

We had a lovely family dinner on Saturday night, food was delicious and staff very friendly. I love the quirky decor in the lobby and the deluxe room was fabulous too. We will be back. Continued success in 2021.

Went for dinner last nite. 6 of us. Starters were soup which was completely inedible. Completely bland. Next came goats cheese and avacado. Disgusting. All sent back. Waiter came out to say that chef agreed soup was bland but there is nothing wrong with the goats cheese. I adv its horrible not eating it. Main course then took an hr to come. Vegetarian dish which was goats cheese tartlet was Rock hard and dry. Chicken dish was minisul. Recd 1 carrot as veg gmfollowed by cabbage and mushrooms mixed in a white sauce. Pure slop. My friend asked for steak cooked well done and was told that the chef would only cook it medium cos otherwise it wud shrink up? So she didn't order it. We then got bill with the starters we sent back on it which we said we weren't paying for. The manager went around to most of the tables asking how the meal was and by passed us. The only good thing was a waitress named Nicola who was very professional and accommodating. We left a tip but specifically said it was not to be shared and was only for Nicola. I was hoping to have my daughters communion there next Yr but that certainly won't be happening now. We asked a staff member to take a pic of us which he reluctantly did and the pic was blurred which he wud have seen if he bothered to look at it. Overall a bad dining experience which cost us 247.00.

We got Sunday take away dinner here to celebrate my brothers 20th birthday and it was delicious. The whole family loved it from the starter, main course to the dessert. Highly recommended.

I first stayed here in December of 2013 the night before my departure flight and have done so three other occasions. This hotel is convenient, great service, wonderful restaurant with a nice selection of food and a full bar. I highly recommend the Shannon Springs Hotel!

Also known as Shannon Court Hotel, lovely lunch, friendly staff, especially Brian when I rang for directions, he introduced himself and wanted to make sure I was ok!
Definitely worth stopping by.

Had fabulous tapas for 10 people last night with family and friends the food was so tasty and well presented damien and staff were brilliant really enjoyed would recommend it highlý will be back Vera Corry.

The staff were superb in this hotel. I usually feel uncomfortable wen my children get tired and hyper but the gentleman in the restaurant/bar was brilliant with them and chatted to them. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and extremely helpful arranging taxis to the airport and giving directions. Very clean and classy hotel would definitely recommend it.

Lovely hotel, a typical standard hotel room, very clean and well maintained, only had a sandwich during my stay but it was extremely good! But the exceptional customer service of the staff makes it stand out, they went out of their way to make sure I was looked after. Very impressed!

Staff was amazing some of the nicest people we met on our entire trip to Ireland, great way to end our trip. Food at restaurant was amazing and very comfy place to eat after long travel day. Some cons were outdated carpet made it feel dirty, and no sheer curtain only blackout.

We stayed here as part of a round trip with DERtours 2 nights. As soon as we entered the room, a musty smell immediately came to us. The window could only be opened one gap wide. Although we left the door wide open, the smell was hard to bear. Our clothes and suitcases smelled absolutely disgusting after the room even one day after the departure. According to our experience, we can only advise against one night's stay.

The staff were great, especially the guys at the front desk. The pub was fun too. The rooms were fine, with the usual amenities. Our only complaint is that these two rooms were booked months ago, and they were right over the kitchen so that we got not only fried food smells but also the loud exhaust fans. There was a full house and no where to move us, but we could have been placed in a better room to begin with since we weren’t last minute drop ins.

I am a support worker for people with disabilities, frequently come to the restaurant with the person I am supporting as it is a wonderful and stress-free experience every time. The staff are friendly, professional, and always offer help with opening doors, with dietary requirements, seating us in quieter areas, and most importantly, treating my individual as an equal and valued customer. We both love the food, and it's only clean plates that make it back to the kitchen. The entire restaurant is easily accessible with a wheelchair, which makes life so much easier. We will be returning for more amazing food and service, so thank you Shannon Springs and all the staff that make every visit enjoyable for us both.

The hotel is rather old and could do with some fresh paint and replacement of all the neon lights with less industrial lights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good but basic. The whole place misses some fancy. There is no socket near the bed which I found a little surprising since most people charge their phones over night. I was there with a colleague and we both agreed that the USB charging sockets were so bright we had to cover them at night. The pub attached to the restaurant is nice and has an amazing beer garden. Food was good but I didn't receive what I ordered then there was an error in the bill we received.

Nice hotel with a bar and restaurant. Town close by for all needs. Friendly staff and good food service. Live music in the bar area over the weekend. Plenty of parking around the hotel. Fun atmosphere for nights out.

Large rooms, reasonable bathroom. The let down was the noise issues, there was a band playing until the small hours under our room. As we had such an early flight this was extremely frustrating. One would expect that a hotel so close to the airport would accommodate their guests who are likely staying due to the airport proximity.

Lovely hotel! Staff is beyond excellent! Downsides though are no gym, and can be really loud if your room is above the pub. The food is fabulous (I highly recommend the rib eye). There's a bus into limerick near by. Breakfast is very good! Close to Bunratty Castle.

Myself and 2 friends decided that we'd head to the Shannon Springs Saturday night to try their new menu and boy were we not disappointed. Menu is more concise than the previous one but still covers everything. I had the award winning Mackerel starter and had the roast Monkfish for mains and could seriously not fault anything. From plate presentation to taste was fantastic. I certainly will be calling again. Kudos to John and all the team.

Recently Had dinner there for my birthday 12 people sitting. On a quiet saturday night after christmas. Service was catastrophic. Wait 15 min to take order. Then didnt give options for cooking preference. Ie for steak. Person went a way with order but did not take drink orders. Another 10 min wait for drink order. As said didnt give preference of food choices some people got barbecue wings some spicy and were not given choice. Steak came out with blood running out of it fine for some people. But not for others. Anyway other than that the food was lovely. Just the service lowered my review.

Nice place to spend some time with friends in Irish pub. There is also a place to have a dinner with a family. Would recommend this place. Can't judge about apartments though. Not so much to choose from a menu, but prices is fair enough. Profesional stuff. They even sing "Happy birthday" to the customers :)

Same ownership as the South Court in nearby Raheen, Limerick. Being a newer property to the group, it has a slight edge in accommodation with more updated rooms and far less activity and noise than it's sister hotel. Proximity to SNN airport is a big plus. Downside is lack of nearby walking-accessible amenities and shopping compared to the South Court given its location in the town of Shannon. Breakfast is good and the adjoining restaurant/pub is fantastic.

Food excellent staff excellent service excellent there is nothing else I have to say about this but everything was just excellent.

Unfortunately, our booked rooms were sent to the hotel Nirvana by a "server outage" and the hotel transported us to the same chain a few minutes further. How does that happen?

Bar staff very rude I mean you pay 106 euro for a hotel room look for a drink at residence bar and they reply was no bar opened as we were told to wait for a few mins prior to that… I won't be going there again…

Rooms are nice and the hotel is very inviting. Great staff. Very friendly and eager to help you with your stay and places to visit. The pub is a great place to hang out and is very lively with locals. Prices are reasonable and would stay here again.

Had dinner there last night, excellent food, very helpful and friendly staff. Out server was Megan she was extremely attentive. Can't wait to recommend Shannon Springs to friends and family.

Very accommodating hotel. Quaint atmosphere. Felt at home away from home. Very convenient to Shannon airport. I give Shane a 10+ rating. He went above and beyond genuinely making sure our stay was as comfortable as could be. I have to say that in my lifetime Shane is probably one of the most genuine and sincerest person I have ever met! The restaurant food was excellent. The staff was awesome. I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to Ireland. needs were met to make your stay at the hotel as comfortable as can be.

Just had a beautiful meal in the gastro pub. The food was absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend it highly enough for coeliacs. All allergies are outlined clearly and the staff were well aware of coeliac disease. I would like to thank Rob for all his help and for looking after us so well. We will be back. Best Bailey's coffee I've had in awhile too. Very good value too.

Good accessible location ideal for the airport, nice enough place, bar could get a little loud when the sports were on. Rooms clean and tidy with the usual facilities. Breakfast a little limiting but fine for what you pay, would use again.

Had our staff party here on Sunday evening and cannot say enough about the food, service and music. We had 60 people sit for a delicious 4 course meal and then live band in the bar afterwards. The service we received was second to none! no delay during service as we had the Singing Chef while the meal was taking place and there was no delay to serving all our meals. Staff were extremely accommodating and attentive. Cannot praise Shannon Springs Hotel enough Well Done to all!

We loved this hotel. Very friendly staff and very clean. I read one review where someone complained about not getting breakfast at 6am but seriously — what hotel would serve breakfast at that time. The bar food was excellent and the barman (Robby) could not have been more helpful. Thx Robby. The bedroom was spacious, clean, quiet and warm. This hotel met and exceeded our expections and we would certainly recommend it.

It's conveniently located for the airport for sure. I booked it online and it was a bit disappointing. I included breakfast in the booking. Our flight was at 9am so we had to leave around 6:30am and return the car etc, but their restaurant doesn't open until 7a. M. The check in person said there was nothing she could do about it! She did find us later and offer to go to the store and buy me yogurt for breakfast, but I'd paid $22 for our breakfasts. The bed was very uncomfortable-the mattress should have been replaced years ago! And what do they clean the place with? It absolutely stinks! I had to open the windows to try and get the smell of chemicals out? I wouldn't recommend it.

Rooms are great, thats that part done… Restaurant not so great, bit overpriced and if you order something not on menu the hostess seems to have a mini meltdown and cant work out a price, after scrambled egg on toast and bacon on toast I was told it would be €9 each, after some laughing and discussion we paid 5 each… Bar only opens at 3pm so nowhere for guests to go/meet but its not bad when open, if you only go for a night or two sleep and nothing else its 10/10… Otherwise 5/10

Rooms were ok and quiet and the staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was disappointing for the price we paid. Some pastries were left in wrappers and selection wasn't great.

Never again. Also on the 2nd day still the same dirt into the bathroom. Disgusting hotel. Dirty dishes in the pub. In the restaurant, the napkins were used more than once.

Only stayed for the one night due to work commitments, but it was a pleasant stay. Very clean with everything you could need. Free Wi-Fi was also included. There is a pub and Chinese on the same site. Despite all that it is very quite and had a good nights sleep. Would certainly use this again as a base for sight seeing and work.

I stayed 10 days. The comfort is good when compare with expensive hotels. But the important one the staff is helpful and warm like all irish people.

There is a single Chinese restaurant in this hotel without any other place to eat in walking distance. The service in this restaurant is reprehensible. We waited 10-15 minutes and no service (aside from being seated). Even after two requests to serve us there was no adequate response so we left and took taxis elsewhere — there were 8 of us. The resident bar on the other hand had prompt service. Unfortunately the men's restroom smelled very rank, for whatever reason. Saving best for last, the hotel itself has been outstanding. Rooms were adequate and comfortable. The host was very receptive, welcoming, and prompt.
