Instantly felt at home in this wonderful place as a lone traveler. A proper B&B, with a gem of a bar. ❤️

Fantastic breakfast served by the lovely Carmel… lovely stay… could not have been nicer… and the crowning of our stay was I had left some cloths in the room, when I rang to enquire Carmel had kept the cloths safely, and returned them to me by post at no extra cost to me… now that is service of the highest order. Guinness was great aswell will stay again in the future. 11/10

Iv been travelling from wicklow to kilrush for the past 17 years not as often as I'd like but enough that I get to stay in this amazing home away from home. Carmel is like the Irish mammy of old who'll welcome you into her home/pub/b&b like she's know you for years. Her pints have only gotten better as time moves on. I'd highly recommend you stay here at least once on your travels. The town is friendly the people are full of chat and like I said its a home away from home. 6 stars.

My wife and I stopped in here for some libations. The hostess quickly made her way over to us, as she was probably having some good craic with the locals sitting in the back. I knew exactly what I wanted, a pint of Guiness, but my wife was questioning her taste buds. With a small amount of prodding, the Host came up with a Hot Whisky. This blew my wife's mind out of the water, it was exactly what she was looking for but didn't know it. We then proceeded to chat for a half hour or more about family & local histories, travel destinations, and best practices for the ferry we were taking on the following day. She was super friendly and quite funny. The pub has been around for some time as she let us know that her grandparents owned it. You know that she loves this place and believe me, you will love it too.

Excellent place to stay when exploring West Clare. Carmel is a lovely host, friendly, full of advice and pulls a great pint in the bar. Fresh, crisp clean sheets every day, best shower in the west, in a cozy environment and to top it all off a killer breakfast. Loosen your belt or put on your stretchy trousers for this one. Will be back.

Lovely experience. The room with adjoining bathroom was clean and perfect for a modest stay. Carmel was a wonderful host, helped us find food when we were late and served a wonderful pint. The pub is cozy and memorable. Would come back here any day.

We stopped off here on the way to Killarney bike festival the lady of the house made us very welcome, really nice traditional Irish pub with very clean and comfortable room and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come.

Amazing stay at Buggles B&B. Carmel is so welcoming. The rooms are stunning, so clean and the bed is so comfortable. Great value for money and breakfast cooked fresh for you and your requested time. The view from our room was right down to the marina.

Whats not to recommend great atmosphere great people.
