Zoe Bistro & Accommodation

Zoe Bed and Breakfast is an absolute gem. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh, delicious options that really set us up for the day. The room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. What truly made the stay special was the host, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout. Highly recommended – a perfect 5-star experience.

A tremendous stay at Zoe. Greg and Barbara made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was warm, clean and spacious. Breakfast was every bit of the experience Greg promised. Our group of 9 were quiet except for the oohs and aahs of contentment. We didn’t want to leave.

We drove into Kilrush without reservations for a place to stay overnight, and stopped into Zoe’s without much hope of finding a room. Lucky, one was available and Greg could not have been nicer! He said we should get the breakfast included because “it was an experience” and he was right! Breakfast had so much food we couldn’t finish more than half and everything was amazing. Barbara was super attentive and kept bringing delicious dishes. I would get back to Kilrush just for Zoe’s breakfast!

Fantastic place and lovely owners. We got to stay in the spacious apartment. It’s beautiful, big and perfectly located right in the middle of town.
Breakfast was better than any 5* hotel, we could not believe the value and quality. Brilliant B&B, highly recommended!

Central location in the heart of Kilrush. Room was quiet. Lovely clean room with a comfortable bed, and attention to detail. Breakfast was superb — fruit, yoghurt, a variety of breads, pancakes and a cooked breakfast! Run by a husband and wife to the highest standards. Friendly atmosphere and good value.

I had a wonderful stay at Zoe's Kilrush. Greg and Barbara were exceptional hosts and made the experience truly special. The food (especially breakfast; omg flaky, ultra soft croissants you must try) was mouth watering, and the attention to comfort was amazing, everything from the towels to the bedsheets was cotton, something even many 4 — and 5-star hotels don’t offer. It was a lovely visit, and they are the reason I’ll be coming back again next time to explore the local area as well.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zoe's. The owners, Greg and Barbara, are great hosts and really care about their guests' experience.
We were staying in the b&b and were lucky to be upgeaded to the apartment, which is fantastic. It is well equipped and very spacious with a large sun room and outside balcony area, in addition to the great living /. Sleeping areas. While it is in the middle of the town, it is very quiet. Free parking outside is a bonus.
The breakfast was simply exquisite, with fresh fruit, freshly baked pancakes, bread and croissants. The cooked breakfast was also cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. I am a vegetarian and dairy free and normally have very limited brrakfast choices. However, Gregg asked in detail about my dietary preferences on arrival and reassured me that he would cater for these, which he did. We stayed for a few days and Barbars served us breakfast. She was warm and attentive, remembering every little detail of our preferences eaxh morning. She even provided bags to take whatever we couldn't eat from the mammoth spread away with us for later.
Highly recommended, particularly if you want a breakfast to remember!

We stayed the night in the apartment at Zoe Bistro and had such a lovely time! The host was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was spotless, really spacious, and even had Netflix and Amazon Prime on the TV which was a great bonus.
Breakfast in the morning was outstanding – really tasty and the staff serving were so friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t fault a thing, it was the perfect night away. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend Zoe Bistro!

The booking was easy and was created warmly by Greg. The room was comfortable, cosy, and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was incredible, with a freshly prepared fruit salad and crumbly grainy berry granola yoghurt in a glass. Slices of treacle, oatey loaf with butter with a lovely jam were also provided. Then comes fresh flaky and buttery croissants and the fluffiest inside, crispy on the outside pancakes with syrup. Incredible.
We had our choice of eggs for the hot breakfast, receiving sausage, eggs on beautifully cut toast, blistered tomatoes, and I think it was a basil oil? Everything was seasoned beautifully, and we enjoyed every bite. Wish we lived closer.

My recent stay at Zoe Accommodation B&B in Kilrush was exceptional. Greg and Barbara extended a warm welcome, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious apartment. The apartment was well-appointed with a comfortable bed, excellent shower, and luxurious towels.
The entertainment options were a plus, with Netflix and Prime available on a great TV. The living room and fully equipped kitchen added to the relaxing atmosphere. Free parking right outside was very convenient. Our apartment overlooked the Main Street, offering a lovely view.
While in Kilrush, be sure to visit St. Senan’s Church to see the stunning Harry Clarke stained glass. A trip to Scattery Island is also highly recommended.
I cannot praise Zoe Accommodation enough. Greg and Barbara truly understand hospitality. If ever in Kilrush again, I will definitely return. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. An experience not to be missed. Chef Greg and Barbara offer a special breakfast called An Experience Breakfast and it is most definitely a memorable experience. Everything is beautifully presented, home baked or purchased locally. Lovely fresh fruit salad, Barbara’s treacle bread, fry/grill options and good coffee. You’re well set up for the day. Highly recommended and good value.

We were cycling the WAW and stayed here. What an absolute gem of a place. They re-jigged the rooms for us and couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were great with big TVs on the wall (not that we used them). The place was spotless and we had a great night there.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but there was a place nearby. The breakfast the following morning was immense, loads and loads of options and we had to take the waffles away to devour later.
Greg and Barbara were exceptional. Their attention to detail was brilliant and some of my group want to come back just to stay here. Brilliant, highly recommended.

We stayed at Zoe for a friend's wedding at the weekend. Greg met us on arrival and was very helpful. The room was very nice and cosy. A little on the small side but it didn't bother us. Good shower too. What can I say about the breakfast. U'd go there for this alone. Fresh fruit salad with mango coulis, pancakes with maple syrup, homemade granola with fresh compote and fruit, treacle brown bread that would melt in your mouth, freshly made croissants and to follow bacon, sausage, fried/scrambled/poached egg. All was served fresh to your table and piping hot. One of the nicest breakfasts. Really a must here. Barbara and her daughter served us and were lovely. We would highly recommend Zoe for a lovely stay 🙂 it's right in Kilrush town also.

Greg and Barbara were great hosts, Greg met us showed us the apartment, explained everything and gave advice on where to go and what to do.
Apartment was brilliant, clean and very spacious and had everything we needed.
Beds were very comfortable.
In the morning we had (breakfast) not so much a breakfast but more like a fine food experience, several courses, fresh orange, yogurt, fruit, the best pancakes we have ever had, croissants, cooked full Irish, tea, coffee all perfectly presented and served. We never ate for the rest of the day.
We had previous just stayed in two 4 star hotels who's breakfast didn't come close to Zoe's.
This Bistro should be rated 5 star.

What a fabulous little gem! Perfect location in quaint town. Safe overnight parking on street for motorbike. Super hosts, very helpful and hospitable, clearly put a lot of love and attention to their business. Breakfast is the best in Ireland. If you want a true home cooked artisanal breakfast, healthy and tasty — you HAVE to eat here. PS start with VERY EMPTY TUMMY! Thank you Greg and Barbara!

Exceptional place to stay and eat. Greg was so welcoming. He ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was well-equipped and immaculate. The breakfast was simply outstanding — the best in Ireland and possibly the best we have ever eaten. It was generous and absolutely delicious. Such a wonderful place! My wife and I stayed overnight in Zoe’s Bistro B&B. We were met by Greg who was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped with tea, coffee, hair dryer, fridge, TV and excellent Wi-Fi. It was spotlessly clean with an excellent en-suite and spacious shower.
The location in the middle of Kilrush town just off the square was ideal. Easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and the marina. Kilrush is a great location to explore Clare, North Kerry, (just a few miles from the Shannon ferry) and Galway from.
When we came down to the breakfast in the morning the restaurant was immaculate, beautifully laid table with a fruit salad, muesli and fresh yogurt, croissants, and the most delectable mini pancakes supplied with warm honey drizzle. All freshly home made. Then there was a choice of hot breakfast cooked to perfection. There was so much lovely food on the table that we were given a small bag to carry any of the pastries we couldn’t eat with us to munch on later in the day.
The service was friendly and prompt but unintrusive, and the whole atmosphere of the place was relaxed and welcoming.
My wife and I were so impressed that we decided to make a special effort to express our appreciation. It was lovely to see most of the other guests do the same thing as they left.
