Nice place where you feel good. Good free breakfast parking and there is even a pool. In front of the castle.

Good location, very close to the town and local amenities. View of the river is nice if you pay extra for your room. Dinner in the bar was nothing special. Breakfast was good. Staff are very friendly. Overall I feel it's over priced!

Stayed here for 2 nights on a weekend with very good weather and if you get good weather its probably the best place in Athlone to stay as there is a lovely newly renovated deck overlooking the river. Its got nice comfortable seats with heat lamps for the night time. The rooms were very clean and nice. The only thing I didnt like was the fact there was no air con in the room so it is hard to cool the room down if its warm out. There is also a nice brunch menu in the bar.

Stayed hear for a week with my family. Orderd ham and cheese on toast from the bar when eventually it did arrive bits of tuna and coleslaw on it. Got breakfast delivered to the room (every day the order was wrong) and was asked to pay for it at the door not at check out when I refused I was told to make sure I didn't forget to pay as I didn't have any credit with the Hotel? Ordered a second round of drinks never arrived and then expected to pay for them. Very limited car parking. Faulty tower's. Fantastic view.

Didn't spend a night in room but met someone here for dinner and had a great time in the bar. Staff were nice and helpful. David Brickland was particularly helpful (no relation)

Restaurant and lounge service a bit slow. You need to really put some effort into getting a waiters attention. Other than that food is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. Nice view of the river.

Bar not stocked sufficient for grade of hotel, limited choice for weddings. Carrying sizzling food through area where children playing and excited. No crisps /snack on St Patrick's Day although hotel full with families and small children.

Great night. Lovely Business Class room with a river view. Friendly staff and nice food. Would recommend.

Enjoyed an awesome brunch with dear friends in the recently refurbished QuaySide Bar. The new brunch menu is excellent! Staff were friendly & service was very good. Most enjoyable couple of hours spent in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you, Radisson Blu!

Room was very nice and ample, well decorated, but too warm for me and no controls to turn in down. Air-handling equipment was loud in the room I was in the 5th floor. These issues may be limited to top floor.

Very comfortable room staff exceptionally attentive food top notch can find absolutely no fault with this hotel and would highly recommend it. They have done an amazing job with upgrade. We have stayed here many times and experience gets better each time.

Good location. Nice hotel. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately pool was closed due to unscheduled maintenance but had vouchers for nearby leisure centre available. Early bird menu was a bit disappointing we thought. Could have offered a better menu. Overall a pleasant experience and we would come back.

6 of us arrived Christmas Eve at lunchtime. Initially there were some teething problems but they were eventually resolved. For the remainder of our 2 nights stay we had a very enjoyable Christmas. Children loved it. The food and accommodation were excellent. Christmas dinner lovely. Evening buffet fabulous. Staff very friendly. We all were very satisfied. Thank you.

Didn't like the food. Beef was over cooked. Chicken was dry. Veg was meh. Mash was nice. No toilet paper in the loo. Lounge staff were nice. Wouldn't go back.

This place has a Nice gym and there is great room service. The top attraction for me is the excellent buffet breakfast. Quiet rooms in a quiet city of Athlone. Very nice place for a weekend getaway. Will definitely recommend for someone passing through or actually visiting…

Rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was huge. I told the girls at reception it was our anniversary and when we got to the room they had left a little note and a small box if sweets. Good selection at breakfast.

It's a no frills hotel but has everything you need. If you get a room with a river view the view is pretty nice! It's the staff that make the place, so friendly, helpful and attentive. We ate bar food and had the breakfast buffet, both I couldn't fault.

Nice hotel, bedrooms starting to get a bit "Radisson dated", nice bar food and the terrace in the sun is the place to be looking out over the Shannon. Very friendly staff, bar staff a little slow. No air con in the rooms could melt you on the 3 warm days we get in Ireland.

No room temperature controls in bedrooms. Difficult to get to a comfortable temperature. Bar and restaurant good.

The entire hotel needs a thorough renovation. Abgeschlagende and ruined furniture, the pool area is demolished down come curtains etc. What enhances the impression of something the staff are very friendly. For a four star hotel, but far too little!

From the moment we walked in door to reception to checking out the next day. The experience was 100% satisfaction. From staff (especially Paddy) to our room. Definitely will be back and will be recommending it to friends.

I was in radisson blu hotel in athlone. Was very good day nice weather was that days. I ask to house keeping girl. Where can I go to nite get a night out. She said to me for what for fun. I said her yes but she said if you want girls we can delivers to you for night. I was shoking, she said me I can talk to super visor and then let you knows, it my goodness I can belive that I happen like that. Maybe the management have a like that staff to emprees the guest. But it was nice night in there.

Very friendly chefs staff and management the food was die for and people was so friendly and helpful as well I would come back ere again.

Really nice hotel with a fantastic view of the river Shannon from our room. Rooms are lovely and the staff couldn't be more helpful and a really friendly. We will be back.

Brilliant! Lough Ree Suite is GREAT.

I'm a member of the gym, its good. The restaurant is very expensive. But the Bar is nice when its quiet. But when I went there twice on busy days, the service was pathetic. Two people behind the bar, I asked for food, after 30 minutes my food still hadn't arrived. I went in to check and the person hadn't handed in the order into the kitchen, to which I replied "You wouldn't walk five yards to the kitchen to hand in my order? ". They gave me a free pint. It's mental and embarrassing, I want to eat a burger and enjoy a pint, but I ended up stressed and feeling like a twat. This happened to me twice. Needless to say don't pay until you're leaving.
