This was a convenient stop for us and was very economical and had good parking. Don't forget to book directly with them to get the best deals. Right next door is Macdonalds and plenty of other options close by for food including an Aldi down the road. There is no restaurant at this Travelodge. Was disappointed that despite booking a preferred bed configuration we got something different. This necessitated a request to change our room to something more suitable. An older property that looks a bit tired. Everything was clean however. A small reception area. The room size was good but getting there was through several doors and corridors. A desk suitable for laptop work in the room and reasonable Wi-Fi.

We did stay there for one night. The rooms are clean and for the family room it has a good price. We paid 69 Euro for one night which we didn’t get it cheaper in this short time.

Convenient location and decent rates. Restaurant just outside of the building too which is great for cheap breakfasts. 10/15 walk to the centre. Rooms decent size and staff very nice!

Stay away from this hotel. Filthy, filthy, filthy. Pillows all stained, bed sheets, mattress covers all stained and had holes in them and HAIR!. The bathroom was full of black mold, the entire hotel smelled musty. The windows to our room were open which had no screens and there were bugs all over the bed and a big spider on the ceiling. After searching and searching we finally found the TV remote under the bed and don't even get me started on the conditions under the bed. Complained to the night manager who didn't seem to care. Had it not been 2am we would have left. But instead we stripped the beds of the blankets, and got a ton of extra sheets from the front desk to cover the beds and slept with our jackets as pillows, kept our socks on the entire time (even in the shower) and got out right away in the morning. The outlet also blew my converter! Complained to the morning manger that just said "sorry, I will let the manager know. " Beyond disappointed with the hotel and the service. My advice is to stay away.

Great value for money, courteous staff, definitely be back, booked for 2 nights but decided to stay a third.

Very much like a youth hostel. Nothing like the chain in the US. I admit to being an American who takes amenities for granted. We are used to a basic breakfast, air conditioning, ample supplies of towels and toilet paper, elevators, and cable television. You won't get that here. The room is spartan, the television is the size of a computer monitor, and the lighting is dim. I write this to inform Americans that this is nothing like a motel in the US.

Room and bathroom could use a remodel and there are no plugs next to the beds, but otherwise it was pretty nice. Bed was comfy enough, room was clean, sheets were clean. Rooms on the second floor are only accessible by stairs, so, big heavy luggage is difficult to get up and down. Staff was really nice and check-in/check-out was really easy. Not a bad place to stay.

Nice that I could bring my dog with me. :)

Used wheelchair accessible room… lovely big shower room. Adequate for our needs… linen was spotless, room nice and clean… rocking Joe's next door for food was a big hit! All in all… Saved money, near all I needed… food was great.

Good place to get an inexpensive Bed for the night. Good food. Very clean. Nothing wrong with it.

Very helpful staff, but catastrophic accommodation! Dirty towel, light in the bathroom flared, shivering atmosphere, … I would have preferred to return at night. For the whole accommodation there was only one employee who was on site and who was very much troubled to repair our light and was very friendly, but apparently also had far too much to do. I'm sorry. I would rather sleep in the car than stay here again.

First impression wasnt great… I think in general it could do with a good deep clean, and the cleaners could do with lessons on thorough cleaning. But it was a last minute stay and was ok. One issue is the door from reception to the rooms has a security pad on… but isnt used. We walked in while no one was on front desk and straight through which was worrying… anyone could go through?

Stayed here the other nite and on arrival everything was great, except it wasn’t, bed was very comfy that was my highlight. I was told that it had just been refurbished, think that was just the beds as the floor in the bedroom had stains on it. The bathroom was dirty, it hadn’t been cleaned in a few wks as the dust on the floor was horrible, there were dirt stains on the walls and think this was the same in the bedroom.
I would recommend a deep clean or get cleaners who know what they are doing. The price was brilliant but cleanliness is very important.

Booked a room for 3 nights, money taken from account but no booking confirmation. Called hotel, spoke to the GM who assured us it will be sorted out. Drove to hotel, receptionist demanded another payment for 3 nights, asked to speak to the GM (a certain Connor) receptionist went in to speak with him. Overheard him saying if they don't pay, tell them they can't stay. He refused to come speak with me (so much for customer service) said he'd be out in 30 minutes, decided to go to the bank to recall money before payment AGAIN. Got back after being gone for about 30 minutes, asked to speak to him, same reply, 30 MINUTES. Couldn't wait so paid, asked for room on upper floor, he declined, saying he had allocated it for the NEXT day, as I was staying 3 nights, he would rather give room to a larger group of students than a returning customer (my 4th stay). Given a dirty, smelly room close to the reception despite asking for a quiet room (unfortunately other hotels were booked out). The GM's behaviour and attitude bordered on arrogance and condescending. Very dismissive, whilst Anna the FO employee was very empathetic and helpful, she should be the GM. Never again. Not going back. Just lost a customer. Worst experience ever. Pictures of dirty room will be posted on their website.

Best value for the money. Very pleasant staff and an amazing diner next door. The only issue is that sheets are not changed regularly unless asked for. Had a great stay, will definitely recommend.

We stayed here for two nights. The Travelodge was easy enough to find. Within walking distance of the city. The staff were nice. The room was a good size and very clean. The price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend the place.

Ridiculous that rules aren't explained upon arrival and then night porter gets uptight! Rooms not worth €103 per night either! Wouldn't stay here in the future! Complaint raised to manager, let's see how far it goes?

Quick family trip for 4. Room was spotless. Staff were friendly and help full. Not to far away from the city.

Was very disappointed last Wednesday when the receptionist ask me for deposit when im one of the big customer she even demanded any money that I can afford. Am always there bur never asked for deposit before.

We had to ring travelodge yesterday last minute after being let down by one of the caravan parks in tramore. I spoke to your manager Conor, explained our situation and without any ifs or buts he done everything to find us a family room. He went above and beyond for us! We had a car full of bags and also done a food shop for the mobile, he even let us use their fridge to store a few bits and the babies milk. I honestly can't speak highly enough of him! He even put us down for another night just incase we decided to stay a second night. We where so upset yesterday, thinking we'd have to drive home but at the minute we've 3 happy children jumping around on the beds, getting ready to head back down to tramore town for a fun filled day. We also dealt with a lady, I can't remember her name but it was her 10th year working here yesterday? She was lovely! So to you both, thank you so much! Honestly, it meant so much to us!

Accomodation was substandard. More like a dorm. Very basis accommodation. Said it had air conditioning on its website but there was none but you can keep your window slightly open. Would not recommend and never will stay at Travelodge's.

Is not too bad. Close enough to city centre walking distance. Budget rooms just basic.

Basic, adequate, just what I expected. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. I was only staying one night so I didn't want anything more. Just as well, as the hotel has nothing by way of facilities. No bar, dining room or meeting rooms. Two fast food outlets are right beside the hotel so if you just want to load up on the calories, you won't starve. It's no-frills accommodation In a reasonable location.

Hate it ain't the word I am usuing a friend's Facebook to write to you my make up box went missing from the same room I got my suitcase back I do not for one second understand this, I will be back tomorrow I want to see cameras as there is a lot of money worth inside that make up box and I want it back all of it, this is an absolute joke, I seen every other comment this is not the first time but I won't let it go.

The room I stayed in smelt of cat pee. The carpet was filthy. This has got to be the dirtiest place in Waterford. Health and Safety need to be called to shut this dirty place down.
