The fire and salt restaurant is out of this world. Hotel is fantastic. Very clean with brilliant spa and leisure club.

I was here for lunch today 17/06/18. The Fire and Salt restaurant is well worth a visit for Sunday lunch. There was 8 of us and not one had a complaint. The Ambience, Great Food and excellent friendly staff made our visit enjoyable and comfortable. We will be back.

Fantastic well worth a visit. The restaurant is excellent, staff very courteous. Overall a great place to stay. Would give it top marks. Definitely return.

Simply stunning. Food was amazing. My only bad thing but not the worst was the price of a pint €5.80 for a pint of Heineken when im used to paying €4.70. A bit expensive but your in an amazing place. Rooms and bathrooms were perfect and clean and up to the 4 stars as claimed so I had a quiet and comfortable sleep. I did notice the carpet had been patched up a little bit in a spot near the bed that could take away a little bit of one of those stars but thats nit picking. All in all a wonderful nights stay. (I was at a wedding)

The grounds were very beautiful. Although we crashed and didn't get to use the services, they have a pool, dry cleaning, restaurant, spa, hair dresser and much more. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was amazing. 9nly thing I could complain about would be our own personal comfort of the bed being too firm. Will stay here again.

Attended for a wedding, lovely place. Excellent and courteous staff, beautiful grounds and neat and pretty interior. Felt the event was lovelier for having been held here.

Super room, lots of space for the cots. Major issues in the bar when we went for food. They got the order incorrect the first time, forgot my wife's dish the second time and then sent the wrong meal up to the room when we couldn't stay any longer in the bar with the kids.

Great place with one of the best breakfast I had in Ireland for years! Great location and staff as well! Keep on the good work and maybe modernize some rooms, that's the only negative point I can tell…

A beautiful hotel … staff were so friendly. Food was amazing. Aisling was my spa technician and she was fabulous very friendly and I left her feeling great.

The hotel has been renovated and we asked for one of those new rooms. The room does look considerably upgraded e. G TV now looks like it belongs in this century. The overall look of the hotel is much improved. The staff are attentive and keen to please. A few minus points though; the room was way too hot and centrally controlled, the breakfast was nowhere near as good as previous stays (buffet style as opposed to freshly cooked and served), and bar measures on spirits were definitely a little light. Still a good choice for a short break overall just a few small things need attention.

Don't park your vehicle there, it's not a safe place no security or security barriers. Hotel needs a good facelift, staff are very helpful and polite. The spa is dated and again a good lick of paint. No amenities nearby.

The pool and spa are fabulous. Both bar and restaurant food is beautiful, nice water feature at front, lovely house, hotel is lovely, big function room, staff are friendly and helpful.

Came here for a rare night away from the kids to celebrate my birthday. Had a spa treatment with my husband and afternoon tea in the spa reception area. We also had a drink in the bar before and after dinner in the restaurant. So the full hotel experience. Overall had an enjoyable experience. The food and service in the restaurant was great. The bar had a great atmosphere and the live music was at a good volume. I really like all the areas of the bar as it gives you options to be in a cozy nook or in the heart of the action. I also like the grand and comfortable feel of the lounge area just outside the bar. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated with class and style and the bathrooms are larger than average and very opulant. The spa treatments were a standard experience. The waiting area I found to be quite small and a little strange as it had a waiting room feel rather than a lazy chill zone from which your plucked and guided to the treatment rooms. However the fruit platter was very nice and the choice of waters. The public areas of the spa are low lit and lined with lanterns which was appropriate and calming. The showers were terrible and a stressful experience. They either literally scalded or froze you and I was mid shampoo when I had to hop into the neighbouring shower to rinse. I was thankful I was staying in the hotel so I could have a proper shower and fully rinse the shampoo from my hair. Otherwise it would of been a disappointing end to a spa experience.

Love this hotel. We got married her, foot was fantastic and couldn't fault the staff. Regularly eat here and never disappointed. Spa is great and gym and pool have everything you need. Great hotel.

Very nice hotel, good service, clean, good bedding, spacious and cheap! I would definitely recommend!

Experience wise can not complain. Stayed over on two occasions and the rooms were good size, clean and modern. Staff are attentive and pleasant. Foodwise I have called in on other times when passing. So take that as endorsement. Only real comment is that its always very quiet. Little too quiet if you know what I mean. This may suit some people.

I totally love this place. It's so relaxing and the staff are really nice and helpful! It's the best place to go to relax after work! Perfect place to spend time with friends and family:-)

Service food good. Coachbar sometimes a little noisy.

Irene and I were very very disappointed this time. We go to you twice yearly. From the middle Ute we sat in the area outside the lounge we could not get warm. We had tea and scones and thought we'd never get to our room to get warm. However. The room was FREEZING. One young guy came and couldn't sort it. Then a maintenance man came and he said he'd try to sort it from Boiler room. Eventually it came on but at no point was it HOT although I had it on full. We then went down to dinner at 6 and wanted to spend an hour over a couple of drinks before hand. When we walked into the lounge it was like opening the freezer door. There were 2 red ropes blocking off the area where the fire was. The lounge girl let us go through and sit at the fire which looked lovely but three out NO heat. We had our meal there after going back to our room to get our coats. The food was excellent but we were cold for the whole time. The bedroom began to heat up about 10pm. It's something we both won t forget as we were so cold.

Stayed here for 2 days on the occasion of my cousin's wedding.
Quaint Hotel in Irish style, friendly staff, good food, internally there is a very typical and quaint pub…
Prices a little altini.
Spa included with gym and swimming pool.
Recommended.

Great service throughout the hotel.

Hotel and restaurant is sub part but the spa is pretty swanky. Hotel bar attracts some rough individuals and bar staff don't really care too much about serving. Pool area is pretty basic. This is more of a family spot than a couples spot. Place is incredibly loud and walls super thin. So if you're after some quiet time, look elsewhere.

We had a family party here last night for my Mums 80th Birthday and everything was fantastic. The food, rooms and staff were juat amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone in our group would give this hotel 10 out of 10 and will be back. All the staff in the spa, hairdressers and reception went out of their way to make this a truly memorable occasion for the family. A huge thank you to the manager Shane and all the staff. The room was great. Food was lovely and staff were very helpful and welcoming. My wife had a massage which she rated as the best she has had. Will be back.

My opinion is more about their Leisure Centre, which I a member. The facilities provided are matching my expectations. The gym is very nice and well equipped, however the maintenance provided should be more complex to provide a real 5 stars quality. The biggest problem is that outdoor hot tub (part of swimming pool complex) is down since the past 3 months, as well as in swimming pool jacuzzi and water jet not functioning. Staff members are very professional and helpful. The members are very lovely people. Very well priced fee for kids swimming pool (for members) its also great. Overall I would give them 4 stars out of 5, as the facilities provided, are best in all region.

Overpriced for such a small room. Bar lacks atmosphere. They charged my account twice by "mistake" and are very slow to refund on my debit card. Wouldn't be running back soon. Spa looked the deal but that was the highlight of the one night stay.
