This Hotel is Amazing! From checking In we were treated as if we were family… no end to their hospitality! The room was amazing and bed was so comfy. Food was 5*! Special mention to Monty as hes such a nice touch! I am a Travel Agent and will 100% be recommending you guys to everyone! Thanks again we cant wait to come stay again soon! x.

My husband and I just stayed at The Mont and it was a fabulous time. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant and rooms were fantastic. Cocktails at The Sin Bin were top notch as well! And I can't forget to mention Monty, the sweet little pup that stays in the lobby, definitely a highlight. The hotel is in a great location and walkable to many pubs and attractions. We would absolutely stay here again or recommend to anyone coming to Dublin.

We stayed here the first night it opened. The rooms are great, fresh and modern with all the things you need. The restaurant does amazing wood fire pizzas and the service is fantastic. Lewis the restaurant and bar manager even gave us some cool pubs to check in the city. With a short walk to the centre it’s highly recommended to stay here.

Excellent room and staff very friendly, monty the dog was lovely to meet.

Great location, within walking distance of most Dublin attractions. Stayed here in July, the hotel did not advertise they had A/c but our room stayed cool. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that will be going to Dublin.

I booked a Junior Suite Room at a very low price from one travel comparison site. The price that I paid for in that website was the same price as the standard room offer in most other websites. I had a huge clean room and toilet. I was very satisfied with my booking and the room condition!

Nice hotel, large rooms if a bit dated, food was ok. Room was pretty warm as it was too large for the air-conditioning to cope with. The room did have sash windows that fully opened which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a twin bedroom for one night before embarking on an extended family bus trip. They let us check in as soon as we arrived, which was around 7am. As foreigners, the only thing we didn't realize was that you have to stick your room key (or a credit card) into a slot by the door in order to turn on the ability to turn on the lights. That only took us 20 minutes of trial and error before we shamefully walked to the front desk, defeated. Everything was great. There was coffee and tea service in the room. The beds were comfy. HUGE TV, far larger than I'm used to at a hotel. Breakfast was delicious, too. Traditional Irish breakfast with sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding, and toast, as well as cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, and more. Would definitely recommend.

They were very accommodating. The rooms were a bit small and could use touchups. Great location. We were able to walk/taxi anywhere we needed. A great way to start our journey through ireland!

Reviewing only room we stayed in. 4 star hotel, yet you couldn't open window as it would fall out on you. Window was super dirty and toilet was barely flushing. Sorry.

Central and up market location. Museums and galleries minutes walking. I was impressed when they granted my special room request. Clean with an excellent TV. Very reasonable price for St. Patrick's weekend. I would recommend.

Only spent one night there. It was ok. It was comfortable and clean. It's a 15 minute walk into Grafton street. The hotel bar was a disappointment though as we went back there at 11pm on Saturday night to be told that it was shut. We could go to the sister hotel around the corner if we wanted. We just wanted to chill out and have a night cap so we didn't bother.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room, friendly service and good breakfast. Only loses one star because the parking lot malfunctioned, trapping us inside for 15 minutes (they didn't charge us though, good on you! )

Excellent place for my two days meeting at TCD, which is just a few steps away. Sufficiently spaced comfortable silent room, very good English breakfast. A pleasant park across the street and a good pub just around the corner, points of visitor's interest nearby.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Very helpful in helping me retrieve an essential item I had left behind after checking out. Receptionist took time to give us directions when we were heading out to a particular location. Easy buses to/from Heuston and the airport. Shower temperature was difficult to regulate — only complaint.

Have stayed here many times now — a favorite place in a favorite city. The staff are competent and helpful; the hotel itself is charming with its old but well maintained and sturdy dark woods and brass fixtures. Very nice breakfast buffet — and usually quiet and relaxing, especially if you get there early. Great pubs in the neighborhood, and a convenient walk to Trinity College and other attractions.

This was a very quaint hotel that was located near Trinity College and the heart of Dublin. The room was fairly small and the bathroom was also smallish but I take it into consideration that this is an older building. The location cannot be beat with the airport shuttle directly across the street. Very convenient. The restaurant was closed for renovations I think but they still served a very nice breakfast. It was nice and was well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to provide a tea pot when we were just wanted hot water for tea (instead of coffee). The Davenport O'Callaghan is situated directly across the street and appears to be slightly bigger and maybe just a bit higher end. That being said, we were comfortable and felt safe. I would return again! Thanks for Tourism Ireland for helping me find this hotel after the TBEX Conference in October.

Room OK. Twin. No view. Hot water problem in the bathroom (either very hot or very cold). Linen and soap OK. Very nice breakfast. Great Staff.

Cold room even when we turned on heat. Door keys not working when we came back at night and had to go up and down 2 times before they sorted it. Temperature regulation on shower non-existent. Morning staff good rest not so much.

Would stay here again; was good in every aspect and walking distance to many attractions. A few minor details; the bathrooms were very dark and to climb into the shower tub was uncomfortably high. Towels were scratchy. Front desk folks were helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Nice LARGE room was a nice fit after our tiny room in London!

Very well located. A quiet area but near to everything. 15 minutes from epic and 20 minutes from Temple Bar. Good breakfast. Small rooms, a bit dated but very clean. Great shower. Staff are helpful.

I stayed for one night with you, check in was fine. I was cold going to the room and when I opened the door, the room was very cold. The cold air con was on full blast. I tried to turn it to heat, but it would only work on cold, I also tried to turn on the radiator, but didn't manage it. So I had a nice shower, there was plenty of hot water (I was surprised there was no shower cap). Wifi was tempremental I found. The room was fine, nothing outstanding for the price. Breakfast was disappointing, the staff were lovely, but the hot food was only lukewarm. This is a pet hate of mine, I want my hot food, hot! Overall, I wouldn't stay with you again, as I felt for the price, it didn't live up to my expectations.

Beautiful old hotel with helpful, gracious staff. Delightful experience to be there, and the food selection was generous and beyond delicious. The location was excellent; near the hop on hop off busses and shopping areas. I would be happy to return.

We went to 2 to celebrate a birthday, the double bed was huge and the room very nice. Great breakfast too, although a bit pricey.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location is within walking distance of most things.

Generally the staff were good especially the lady at Reception. But we found the breakfast a disaster! Very few options at the buffet. Cold plates No offer of a fresh hot breakfast — just hopeless scrambled egg at the buffet which looked as if it had been there for 24 hours. Not what one expects in a Dublin where great Irish breakfasts are always served No bacon Burnt sausages Cheap fruit juice and only orange. No toasting facility General apathetic staff No fried, poached eggs offered fresh from the kitchen offered by staff Poor options of cereals The bedrooms looked very tired and the bed linen needs to be re — renewed The TV was ancient and only 4 channels offered — and not good channels. I love this hotel! It has a great staff and wonderful customer service. I advise for all hotel guests to eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It's awesome!

Beautiful establishment in the heart of the Georgian quarter and a few steps from the museums.

Location near the center, near a park. 100metres the bus to the airport. Nice and comfortable Hotel. Very friendly staff The breakfast or nothing is lacking is excellent.

Rooms small but well appointed and very clean staff very knowledgeable and always polite with customers close to the center and shops but especially at the site of Google and the House of Oscar Wilde.

Great place. Attended a 30th there recently. Had our own room and great staff serving us. Food on offer was great and the rates to stay that night were cheap. Very well kept hotel.

Fantastic place to stay in Dublin. The location is perfect and it was a highlight of our trip to Ireland.

Bustourist, 1 Bed: An old, venerable house, the top is maintained. Clean rooms, small but nice bathroom, nice staff. A hot Breakfast is cooked to order. The rooms to the street are noisy but with the window closed, the street is almost impossible to hear. The location of the hotel is super. Approx. 10 minutes walk to Grafton Street, to the University, the national Museum, etc. On my next Ireland holiday "without the Bus, " I'm going to book this Hotel certainly.

I was there at the end of February 2013. The breakfast was great, there were a few things that were a bit off, but, I figured this was because I'm a foriegn traveler. What they offered for breakfast was a good spread, my fellow traveler has celiacs disease (a dietary issue) and still found lots to eat. The room was small, but, quaint. The service was commendable, providing outstanding service. They were able to help in so many ways. Their suggestions on tours and things to do around town were spot on.

Nice Hotel on the outskirts of Dublin city. Rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. The Service is great … only the Breakfast was rather mediocre, so that we have used, such as the nearby Breakfast restaurants. At the weekend a lot of in the event the los is mostly clear, but we have found that there is, nevertheless, fairly quiet. From here, everything was in Dublin in walking distance (eg. Temple Bar and the Shopping district of the South are 10 minutes away). Happy again!

A great hotel! Beautiful and clean with excellent staff always willing to help. They sent someone up after 10pm one evening because our shower wasn't working properly. A delicious breakfast with cold and hot foods was included. Located about a 2 minute walk from Trinity College and St. Stephens Green. The only downside is there is only pay Wi-Fi and the prices are kind of steep, however they do offer 30 minutes free.
