A beautiful hotel, in the centre of Dublin, with amazing customer service.

Afternoon tea was lovely, but service poor, on receiving our lovely platter we had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks tea etc. Also had to ask and wait ten minutes for our jam and cream for the scones.

It's just perfect! Great staff from the moment you walk in the door. Top notch service!

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for my birthday, 22nd January 2022. To say it is fabulous is an understatement. The atmosphere, food and staff are outstanding. We ate in Moorelands grill and had drinks in the Atrium, what an experience from start to finish. The staff are all highly professional and would like to give a special word of thanks to Jay, you went above and beyond. We will definitely be back God willing. Xx.

Checked in today to this incredible Hotel and had a very lovely warm welcome. The Junior Suite is truly charming and cozy with a little terrace from where you can see the famous Library.

Had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly, rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable, we had a lovely view over trinity college but without the noise, the food is top class and the cocktails were so good. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was so cosy and welcoming. Would highly recommend! can't wait to go back again.

We are just back from a very relaxing and luxurious stay in this beautiful hotel! Our bedroom was very elegantly appointed, and had soundproof windows so there were no noise disturbances. Beautiful decor in the hallway, and stunning fresh flower arrangements in public areas. Had a very enjoyable meal in Morelands Grill, there is plenty of variety on the menu and a very relaxing ambience in this beautiful restaurant. The Atrium Lounge took my breath away, it was a calm oasis in a busy city centre with the most gorgeous China tea cups that matched the design on the walls, and the live piano music made it so relaxing! This was my favourite part of our stay, drinking tea and listening to wonderful music.

We had a family wedding last Friday. Omg it was amazing. Everything was perfect. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. The Rooms are out of this world. The food was the best wedding g meal I have ever had. Eilish was was brilliant and her attention to detail was unreal. Best wedding venue in Ireland. ❤️

Amazing Hotel. I was lucky to win an overnight stay in this Hotel. All I can say is from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special and important. Our room was fantastic as was the food in the restaurant in the evening. To top the evening off we had a drink in The Atrium lounge which is stunning, the piano player added the finishing touches to what was already a fantastic evening. The following morning breakfast was superb in the restaurant. We will not hesitate to reccomend this Hotel to everyone. The staff are amazing and go over and beyond to make your stay so pleasant. They are a credit to the Hotel. I look forward to staying here again.

My husband arranged a trip for us at The Westin and we had a wonderful, romantic 50th wedding anniversary! I was recovering from cancer surgery at the time and we had a grand time. The restaurant service was as good as the food and the bar was a nice quiet spot for the evening! Thank you. ☘.

Had our christmas staff party here and it was exceptional service. The only downside having to wait to be served at the bar for a while as there were only two staff behind the bar serving for a party of about 100+ but needless to say it was a lovely night and staff were lovely.

Firstly we would have to say the staff. They were outstanding and very professional. We had afternoon tea of which the presentation and taste of our prefered choice was very good indeed. Our overall experience was excellent. We would highly recommend a visit to this hotel.

I had an amazing night at The Westin Dublin recently. We stayed in the beautiful Samuel Beckett Suite. Truly remarkable and possibly the best hotel room that I have ever stayed in. The staff and were amazing and particularly Lorna for looking after us so well. And breakfast delivered to the room. What more can I say. I loved everything about the experience.

A luxury afternoon here. Staff excellent, food, drink, coffee, ambience excellent. Everything you can think of was super. Not one single iota is wrong. Toilets immaculate. Background music was very relaxing.

Food was excellent, staff most helpful, service brilliant. The only bad thing was I had to leave function room and go down one flight of stairs to toilet. Not an easy thing when you have suffered a stroke and use a stick. I entered the hotel via a ramp, however there were trolleys blocking the corridor and I was lucky I wasn't in a wheelchair. Come on Westin you can do better than that!

What a wonderful Hotel We have stayed at the Westin Hotel before and love it. When we decided to celebrate my husband's birthday in Dublin the Westin Hotel was our first choice the atmosphere is so relaxing. The choice of food is great. And the staff are so professional and friendly. We will be back.

Terrifically located as a base to see and explore Dublin. Staff is efficient and welcoming. They gave us late check out which really helped. The rooms are comfy with nice amenities. We reserved 3 rooms at the Club level and that was fine. GREAT breakfast for a reduced rate if you add it when you check in so make sure to do that.

Beautiful rooms and great location. Concierge tends to recommend touristy restaurants that are over crowded and gimkcky. You can find much better fare if you explore on your own.

I've always been a fan of Westin Hotels and this one meets and exceeds the quality that I have grown to love. Centrally located, this offers you the ability to walk to so many local sights and venues. The dining area is great and their morning breakfast is something to be enjoyed. The rooms show the quality of the brand and we even had some nice views out of the room. The people are what make this special. Need a suggestion for anything — shopping, bars, food… whatever, they are on top of it and make great recommendations. Next time we are in Dublin, we are staying here.

Great place to stay. It's rated 5 star, but I would give 4 stars. Didn't appreciate their policy of debiting to my credit card account 150 Euros (returnable caution deposit) after I paid for the entire room in advance!

My husband surprised me with a night in the Westin for our anniversary. The hotel had a surprise treat in our room & rose petals spread over the bed, very romantic. Our room was lovely & our balcony looked out over Trinity College, a wonderful view. We had dinner in the restaurant, I couldn’t fault it in any way. The staff were all so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic experience at the hotel, and our room was beautiful and well-appointed! We enjoyed The Mint Bar, though it was pricy, and the band playing was a blast. The only negative for us was the steakhouse, Moreland's. Even that was more neutral — our appetizers were great, and my husband's lamb was as well. My steak, however, was not very good. It was overcooked and very bland as if it had not been seasoned, with no sear at all — not what I imagined for a steak touted as local, dry aged, and cooked in some amazing grill contraption.

I want to extend sincere thanks to all at the Westin Hotel. We had booked afternoon tea for Saturday the 12th May for 11 people and paid a 25% reservation fee due to the size of our group. The booking was a treat for the ladies in our family as 2 aunts had both been seriously unwell in the previous few months. Unfortunately the week of our booking one of these aunts was hospitalised again and required surgery meaning she wouldn’t be able to join us as planned. None of the rest of us wanted to go ahead without her so the hotel very kindly agreed to postpone our booking for 2 weeks with no loss of our deposit. My aunt recovered reasonably well in time for the rearranged booking but still required the use of a wheelchair which was unexpected and meant I had to contact the hotel at short notice again to see if they could accommodate our group in a wheelchair accessible area, they were able to arrange this immediately with no fuss at all. Finally we had 2 additional relatives who wanted to join us at the last minute and once again the hotel arranged to increase our booking at short notice with zero fuss. After what has been a challenging and traumatic time for our family I am extremely grateful to the Westin Hotel for being so accommodating to us and making our day so easy for us. I would like in particular to mention Danielle Lim who handled all of the arrangements for us with the utmost professionalism and care.

AMAZING hotel, not a boutique hotel but lovingly cared for traditional European establishment. The guest rooms are spacious and housekeeping is uninstrusive and thorough. So many choices to eat and drink… 2 restaurants and 1 lounge that has high tea. (Or room service all day) This hotel is in the mecca of Dublin, forget the car rental — you can walk or Uber everywhere. Dublin and the Westin welcome visitors!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights over New Years. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was very well located. We thought the food/drinks at the hotel were overpriced, but we walked down the street to some of the many restaurants/pubs. Over all, I recommend this hotel.

I ordered a dirty martini and when the bill arrived they charge me for two. When I questioned them they stated it was a “double pour”. The martini was in a small martini glass so I’m confused how that becomes a double pour.

I was only in the restaurant service. Very well catered and excellent food. The price between dishes varies a bit, but it doesn't go much of the price you can find in any Dublin pub.

The location is the key here. Right next to Trinity college and city center. Friendly staff as you'd expect. Across from plenty of good places to spend the evening. And has a mint bar. But for the price, I'd expect a little more amenities. Like maybe a gym that didn't look like it was built in the 80s. Or maybe an outlet power converter to borrow? Maybe I'm just expecting too much from a non-US hotel?

I am very disgusted with this hotel, I left the other day Spanish ham in the room and yesterday I called to claim and they said they had not found anything when it is totally impossible because I make sure I did not carry it, they are a bunch of starved chorizos.

The hotel and staff went above and beyond. The hotel was superb, clean and everyone was beyond professional and friendly. The hotel manager peter was awesome, we were stuck there during a blizzard and the airport was closed, he made sure that our rooms were available for an extra 2 nights at the same rate we had booked months in advance for. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Very cute kid's camping experience with a tent, book, and flashlight. Our daughter loved sleeping in her tent!

Conveniently located, rooms were nice enough. My complaint: Our room was like a sauna. The heater was stuck on and the window didn't open. We asked every day if there was something they could do about it, their only solution was to give us a bunch of fans. If they resolved that issue for us appropriately, I would have rated them higher.

After a long day around the city, we went downstairs to the Mint Bar in The West in Dublin. A lovely bar with pleasant and attentive bar staff. Lovely comfortable bar seats and lounge seats. A nice cocktail and mocktail list, expertly produced, a little expensive but considering the surroundings, not massively expensive. Will definitely be back on another day around the city. Very friendly and courteous door staff as well.

For a five star hotel their management level of customer service is certainly not at a five star level. While their staff are fantastic management and policy certainly leave a lot to be desired. While I accept that certain policies have to be put in place, a certain level of empathy needs to be applied when a customer is forced to cancel due to family illness. They are certainly not at the same level as other five star hotels in Dublin when it comes to policy and customer empathy and understanding. I will not be staying at this hotel or recommending to any family or friends. Extremely disappointing customer service from management at what is already a difficult time for people. I would highly recommend a review of your policy in relation to cancellation and circumstances around same. A five star hotel should have a five star policy when dealing with customers and managing expectations.

We found this site by chance because almost everything was booked. We were very lucky, for the food, the atmosphere, the decor, the deal, the live music and everything was exquisite. They prepare good cocktails and gyn tonics as courtesy. The starters (salmon, broccoli soup with blue cheese) are excellent. The meats are all of first quality, both lamb and veal. Maybe the wines are not the strong point, and the prices of LAA bottles were somewhat expensive. In short: Big surprise.

Good location, ok room standards for non U. S. Hotel. The breakfast that's included wasn't amazing, but did have some cool features (such as a honeycomb honey display and local yogurt in cute glass jars). The hotel staff was very nice and happy to help. Great location if you are interested in the major tourist sites.

Easily the nicest hotel that I have ever been in. Rooms and facilities were top notch. The day that we checked out there was an issue with our car service. The Concierge was extremely helpful in helping solve our problem!

What an absolutely beautiful place to have tea at while visiting Ireland, definitely recommend a visit and especially the Victorian tea.

I didn't stay over. We popped in for some lunch. The service was good, the food took over 45 mins, but it was very tasty.

While I did not have time to complain, I was unimpressed. The TV in my room was broken. The fan in the bathroom, which I actually may have been the air conditioning, was very loud. The room was $800. The staff was very friendly and I know I need to be patient with very old building. The location was very good. Bottom line, for the price I expected more.

Great location for seeing Dublin. The staff is very polite and helpful (they'll even give you advice about places to go). The beds were some of the best beds I've ever slept on. The mint bar downstairs is a fun environment if you don't want to go far for a drink.

Amazing hotel… the level of service from you arrive at the front door until you check out is fantastic. The mint cocktail bar is stunning and well worth a visit. I totally recommend the buffet breakfast it is well worth the money and the best I have experienced thus far.

Perfect location — — right beside Trinity College. Rooms are modern and minimalist, and spacious. We had a lovely one overlooking the college. Mattresses are comfy. Amenities are amply supplied. Service itself is amazing. The staff are accommodating and professional. I have had many lovely conversations with those at Concierge and with the Porter. Wake up calls are easily asked for and have never failed. They offer umbrellas for the rainy Dublin days, and offer to hold items in storage if you're out and about or have a later flight. Spa water is provided daily by reception. Breakfast is just fine, very healthy, and with smoothies and a wide array of baked goods, cold cuts, and smoked fish. Mint Bar is cozy and elegant, and the Atrium is stunning — — looks like something out of a Wes Anderson movie. Perfect place to stay while in Dublin.

A great hotel for business travel! I enjoyed everything about this hotel from the friendly service, to the speedy check-in, to the fluffy bath robe in my room. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a great selection. I especially liked the Bircher Museli. Be sure to ask for a latte, which is also included in buffet. But best of all is the Westin "heavenly bed". Tip: There is a lot of construction around the hotel at the moment (April 2016) due to transit improvements, which made it a little noisey. Ask for a quiet room, if there is such a thing, at the moment. Construction has been going on for months. But all in all, I really enjoyed my 4 night stay!

Just called this hotel, out celebrating St. Patty's Day in Pennsylvania; my friend wanted to take a green tea shot so we called this hotel to see if they know about them in Ireland. The response was no, so she took an Irish Carbomb. A+++

Didn't stay in this hotel but we did visit for afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. There was a good selection of cakes and sandwiches on the afternoon tea and the setting and decoration was lovely.

Great hotel in the heart of Dublin. Breakfast at the attached restaurant (The Exchange) is good although not included, and the hotel bar (The Mint) is especially nice for a hotel bar. The Wi-Fi is fast and the staff are helpful and friendly. The concierge made a number of great recommendations and took care of making a reservation for us. Our experience could easily be 5-star quality, but there were a few issues with our visit that needed polishing up to make this a true 5-star hotel — — first, there was a weird hammering/pounding noise in our room that kept us up late and woke us up early, and second, the toilet in the room leaked so it regularly made noise. When we mentioned the issues to the front desk, they said they would look into them but didn't offer any recourse or compensation. Could have been a great stay, but unfortunately due to this, it was only good.

The location, staff and room quality can't be beat. Just a three minute walk to Trinity College and 30 second walk to Temple Bar area. The walk to Jameson Whiskey museum is about 10 minutes and the Guinness Storehouse is about 20 minutes by foot.

Great business hotel. Convenient central location a block from the River Liffey and the university. Very walkable. The shower water pressure is a revelation: no conservation is happening here. Wow. Intensely hot too. Comfy bed and bedding, and they have the same great steel-cut oatmeal as every other Westin. Rest of the rooms (especially tiles and TVs and closet) seem rather tired. Pleasant staff and check-in. There are two Starbucks within 50 steps of the front door… and Fleet Street is across the Westmoreland Street.

My wife and I stayed for 2 days while on our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly, and the facilities were very impressive. The hotel is central too all the Dublin city center activities. We will surely be back again.

Great location and service! The rooms and beds are nice. The rooms are a bit on the small side. I choose this hotel mainly for its proximity to shopping and Temple Bar area. The big problem was the lobby was under construction and it was a bit of a problem parking during check-in.

Absolutely Beautiful hotel! Check out the atrium/tea room on the second floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing was that check-in was not until 3pm and since we arrived on Saturday, we were unable to get a room before then.

This hotel has the perfect location, right in the center of Dublin with easy bus, hop on bus, or walking access to everything. The service at the hotel was very personalized and my room was gorgeous — spacious and had nice outlooks over Trinity College. The hotel was a historic bank, so the building itself is a site.

Great service, fantastic location. Walking distance to most attractions. But rooms are old, and even my upgraded room (gold level) was small and not attractive. It had a non traditional, that is inconvenient, layout. Price was average — high for this class hotel.

The Westin is beautiful and beautifulll restored, part of which was a bank in its former life but it doesn't really have the allure or magnetism of say for instance, the Shelbourne or the Westbury, (both of those being the favoured resting spots for actors visiting from out of town! ). In an homage to the buildings former life there is a space for eating and drinking called the Mint, but again it feels lack lustre. Perhaps it's the location, slightly stranded between the glory of Trinity and the nether regions of O' Connell Street — Dublin's 'Champs Élysées'.
