This was our favorite hotel in all our 14 day trip in Sept. 2019. It set the standards high for all of Ireland. Beautiful rooms, wonderful quiet courtyard and garden. The upgraded room was worth the money for me, I enjoy a large area. I cannot say enough about the welcoming staff. Always going out of our way to help us. Try to get a garden view, the front views were a little loud with the traffic noise. But we are country people, and not used to it. One night we went to the local supermarket and picked up dinner, and ate it in the garden. What a relaxing beautiful night. I love this hotel! ☘️

Nice location, easy to get to from airport. We arrived late in the evening due to multiple delayed flights. Staff helped unload our luggage from our taxi in the rain, and the desk manager gave helpful directions to a market open late nearby. There was a nice Mediterranean takeout restaurant called Chili’s that had delicious chicken shawarma and falafel open late.

Great customer service, very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean but small.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Stauntons on the Green. The location is ideal for touring around Dublin, the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast we have experienced with a friendly waitstaff. When we encountered a minor issue with our room, the staff was more than accommodating and worked very quickly to remedy the situation. They were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging airport transportation. Our room was on the 4th level of the original Georgian inn and the only surprise was that there were no elevators, which we didn't mind. But, if you are adverse or unable to climb many stairs then I would suggest calling to make your reservations and request a ground or lower floor room.

Fantastic stay, very friendly, great rooms and fantastic Breakfast service, very friendly staff, who are only too happy to help with any questions regarding the beautiful city. A stone throw away from the beautiful St Stephen's Green park, Grafton Street … a hidden gem.

Stayed here my last night In Ireland — Hotel was charming and clean. Location was great! I lost my electrical converter along my travels and was so happy when I discovered my room was already equipped for American electronics! Only bummer was lack of lift. Wasn’t fun packing luggage up/down. Or having a few to drink and navigating stairs.

The hotel itself is nice enough. But the staff aren't the most pleasant (the receptionist was so rude) and if your staying in the main building in summer the windows don't open very wide, so you will roast. The general hotel is a little run down and could do with a lick of paint, but the beds and furnishings are perfect. Very clean too. I would go out for food though, I didn't find it did justice to the amazing Irish food on offer and the dining room is in the basement with a really awful claustrophobic feeling.

What a fabulous place to stay in Dublin! It has a quaint at home feel, yet room and bathroom are luxurious. My room was very quiet and bed and linens were quite comfortable. The colors and decor of my room were soothing and I hated to leave. Ireland is going through a bit of a heat wave and I was provided with a fan that kept room as cool as possible. Water was always provided and was so appreciated coming in from exploring all day. I would definitely stay again.

A gorgeous place to stay while in Dublin. So much is in walking distance, the green is right across from the hotel and the Airlink stop is just 2 walking minutes away. Comfortable rooms with good beds. The breakfast is excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the Staunton… staff were incredibly supportive and available… service was outstanding and accommodating! We would stay here again… it is a great location but just enough off the beat and path to be a little quieter at night…

Stauntons on the Green was an absolutely great place to stay. The staff were incredible and can't beat the location for the price.

Everything is very good: the room (even the double small room), the reception, the breakfast. In addition, in front of the park Saint Stefen Green. I recommend it without a problem.

This is a great place to stay in Dublin. It's close to the main shopping area and other city centre locations, and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel is exceptional for its rating. The rooms are large (albeit with rather small shower rooms), the staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is fantastic — it is served to you at the table. There is no bar or restaurant, and the rooms at the front of the hotel do tend to have some traffic noise at night time. Otherwise it is very comfortable and I would recommend it to pretty much any type of traveler.

Nostalgic hotel centrally located 5 minutes from the centre within walking distance.

Stayed at the Staunton 12 days. My friend and I had a wonderful time and found everything more than satisfactory. Staff was awesome, breakfast (included) was great, servers very accomodating. Rooms very clean. Comfortable and very quiet. Definitely my place to stay every trip.

Better than expected, great location, value for money & very comfortable stay.

We were a booking for 3 with a dbl and a single booked. From the minute we arrived we felt welcome. Warm, friendly staff on during the snowy weather. Our single room was not ready when we arrived and they upgraded to a dbl. The rooms were spacious, clean and located at the back of the hotel so were extremely quiet. Location excellent. We will return.

Excellent staff from the moment we booked in until we booked out. The hotel itself was very comfortable and nicely furnished. 5 minutes walk to main shopping area and the same to nice bars and restaurants. Stephens green park outside its front door. Couldn't ask for more.

Our 2nd stay. Love this place. Gorgeous rooms and views in the heart of Georgian Dublin. Friendly staff who are always happy to help. Located beside St Stephen's Green with the Iveagh gardens to the back. Handy for museums, theatres and good food. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Excellent place with a nice retro feel to it. Please be aware that when you book the double room, breakfast may not be included. The Irish breakfast served here is worth a try, especially the hot chocolate. The bachelor rooms are very small and I mean very small. So have a look before you book. Location wise it is in the center of Dublin which is very very ideal to roam around. Good service and polite staff too, helpful always.

Stayed at the Staunton for 2 days, very cosy, very central, rite beside stephens green, lovely welcoming staff, will defo stay there again,

Booked the room a few days in advance and nabbed a nice room for myself. The bedroom was clean, the bed was big and comfortable. Check in and check out were impressively quick, and the staff was very friendly. I want to thank the staff especially for keeping my phone charger safe for me to collect later that afternoon, when I realised I forgot it after check out. Tea & biscuits upon arrival. The toiletries products were by VOYA. Bathroom was clean, and water hot, though there was an odd noise from the bathroom fan when left on for too long (shower + brushing teeth etc. ). It was a great location for me as I needed to go to Baggot Street, Pearse Station and Aungier Street — all were under 15 mins walking distance.

The hotel is located conveniently right next tot the park. The receptionist were quite nice and let us leave our luggage with them for a night after we checked out. The staff were also seemed eager to help. We were allowed for early check-in with a small fee which were nice since we flew redeye in and arrived 6 hours before our check-in time and really needed a shower. The only tea I had was they will still clean your room when you leave the do not disturb sign up.

Room was immaculate and had international power plugs in the wall including US and Europe. There were also USB ports in the wall for charging your mobile devices. The bathroom was also top-notch and the location was fantastic — it was quiet and had access to a crosswalk right outside the hotel that goes right into St. Stephen's Green. The staff was very friendly and helped us lug our bags up to our room and would hail taxis for us on the spot when needed. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but it smelled great. Highly recommend this place to stay while in Dublin.

We had a wonderful night here. Staff were very nice, room was beautiful, cosy, warm and quiet. I was very impressed to be honest. I'd highly recommend staying in Stanton's on the green.

Perfectly located, near everything. Cool neighborhood, great staff, cute and cozy hotel. The hotel is more than 200 years old, but very well maintained. There is no lift (as expected), but plenty rooms in the ground floor.

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Provided an early breakfast upon departure day. Unfortunately the rooms walls were damp and the bathroom handle was missing screws so were loose. There were two of us staying in the room and the toilet would take some time to fully flush. Otherwise, the room was very quiet and very good location with St Stephen's Green over the road which is beautiful. Fresh toiletries provided daily.

We booked this hotel last minute and what a gem it was. Location is perfect, staff were just fabulous, decor was lovely, bed was so comfortable, the towels were lovely and fluffy, the shower was excellent, the breakfast was gorgeous… I could go on. Oh yes the extra little touches of the fruit left in bowls and the fruit infused water were that bit special. The 3 male receptionists we met were just lovely and the breakfast staff were so efficient. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Very friendly staff! The breakfast was amazing and again… what can I say about the staff! I will absolutely return in the near future. The only negative and it's by no fault of the hotel are the seagulls. I wanted to sleep with the window open but that was impossible unless you can sleep through anything. I imagine this is an issue at most hotels here. Again, nothing within the control of the staff.

Sort of quirky. Good location. Pleasant staff comfy room — — GREAT towels. Nice breakfast. Lots of sitting rooms and newspapers available. Good value.

Location is excellent just in front of the must-see Stephen's green park. I appreciated the quality of service, all the employees from the reception desk to the waiters were very attentive to clients. The breakfast was excellent. Contrary to many other hotels, I was delighted to be served instead of helping myself at a buffet which makes a big difference. Also the orange juice was not a fake one but a real one made of oranges with no disgusting chemical additives. For people looking for a quiet place, I highly recommend this hotel. From the entrance, passing by the restaurant to the room, it was peacefully calm. The only noise I dislike was the ventilation in the bathroom which was quite heavy for my sensitive ears. The hotel should clearly change the ventilation to mitigate this inconvenience. In all cases, you can turn the ventilation off by turning the bathroom light so it won't disturb you a long time. In terms of room, I believe that they would need to change the interior decoration as I remarked several points of improvement. First of all, the room was not fengshui compatible. Having a window just in front the bed and the entrance door just near the bed are not really recommended for spiritual tranquility. Of course, you might not be disturbed about this but some would. Second of all, the bathroom looked (only looked, it is perfectly functional) a bit old and waiting to be refurbished. Last of all, I was not fan of the oldish decoration at all.

Lovely hotel! I stayed in the tiniest room but it was wonderful. Clean and beautiful! Also the friendliest staff. And breakfast is fantastic ;)

Location is good, I've got a room in front of the park. Staff is friendly and put lots of efforts to help you out. The rooms are clean and breakfast is decent. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the noise from cars all night long.

One of the worst 4 star hotels I've ever stayed in. Extremely dated furnishings, tiny bathroom, terrible bed, awful food. I really have nothing good to say about this hotel other than its in a good location.

The service was super and very nice. The location of the hotel is unique for this price only the rooms could have been somewhat clean. We had a room with a view on the St. Stephen's Green Park What very beautiful but with the main road not suitable for people with mild sleep. Bottom line: for the price but we would not again here check-in.

Good Service, tasty breakfast, old vintage atmosphere, in the town center. Classical one glass windows doesn't block noise from the street as well as cold coming from outside. Good for young guests as there is no elevator, so you have to use stairs.

Clean rooms in a central location with fantastic breakfast and Wi-Fi. Hotel was able to accommodate a large group.

I spent my first night in Ireland here, directed there by the tourist booth at the Dublin airport. I had room which was on the lower floor thru 2 doorways. I easily lost my directions at the facility from the front desk and also the dining area. The room was quaint with scant but typical era furnishings. The front desk was small, the more than one room reception areas divided, no doubt due to the combining of several townhouse front rooms. The stay was comfortable and memorable, the breakfast varied and filling. I shall always remember my stay there. The rate was 125 euros which I thought was steep due to the furnishings and compared with other facilities at participating or even lower rates and yet with even much more amenities and updated facilities…

The location is good. The rooms are fine & clean. Free breakfast is good. Only complaint is the noise. We had a family room on the front of the building by the street. Since there is no air conditioning or fans you have to keep your window open & the noise from traffic, people walking, car alarms, and trash trucks was ridiculous. Not the hotels fault, but if you are trying to sleep to recover from jet lag it is not ideal.

Ok guesthouse. Old school. For budget conscious tourists. Great location and that's about it.
