Really a bad hotel. I work for tourist agencies and I asked one month ago for a Booking. They did not answer, I went there for times and never answered because "the manager was out". Today I came here and saw the manager that said that he had no response from the director so he has to wait and he does not know when he can answer to me. Ridicolous and really umprofessional managing. Do not loose time with them.

I booked with booking. Com for this summer and due to covid-19 had to cancel. Their customer service was horrible and according to the booking. Com website I should have been offered a refund and they have refused and will only issue a voucher. This is extremely poor management during a world wide pandemic and I do not recommend them to ANYONE! Take your money somewhere else, there’s plenty of other hotels far better then this one.

Won’t cancel reservations during a worldwide Pandemic. Horrible customer service! When I do travel to Ireland, I will NOT be staying here. All of the other hotels were very accommodating and understanding. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Not even stayed there yet but from the customer service I would not recommend it! Cannot cancel my booking evening though I am willing to give 7 weeks notice!

Terrible customer service. We were due to go next week, despite all health advice not to travel unless necessary and despite the fact that Dublin is on lockdown until the end of the month, they refuse to rearrange our booking. I understand terms and conditions but surely in the face of a global pandemic, which could result in death (in my case I have a weakened immune system following chemotherapy) they would use common sense. The greed and ignorance of this place is reckless Edit after much correspondence The hotel have finally seen sense and rescheduled our dates.

In the middle of Temple Bar. Great whiskey’s. Rooms r OK. Great for visit the Dublin bars. Ideal for copples who like good drinks & Food. & live music every night.

This hotel is not the place to take your partner for Valentine’s Day, but it was perfect for my nephew’s 21st!
The music on Sunday in the vathouse bar made the trip; we had a blast. What is it about the Irish, is everyone a musician?! Don’t know who these guys were but they were brilliant. Thanks x.

Made a booking recently for a weekend away with my Father and Uncle. They only had a double room w/ one single bed available so we booked it. I had asked if possible we could get a camp bed, for myself so we wouldn’t have to share. I made clear it was still for the original 3 people we booked for. €120 they wanted, and made clear to me it was a temporary camp bed and not an actual bed. As someone who had worked in the sales and customer side of hospitality this is just downright disgraceful. The room was originally €480 for 3ppl, and they wanted another €120 for a POS bed. Temple Bar has a bad rep for a reason, and Blooms are just further proof!

Disappointed with our stay at Blooms with an arrogant member of staff who wasn’t happen to reason at all. Unfit for purpose rooms including broken bed and toilet. Not worth the price of £299 per night and having spent a total of £1700+ for 3nights I feel like this experience has been extremely unsatisfactory. Would not recommend staying here.

5* Recommended! This hotel in in the heart of temple bar so a perfect location. Staff are lovely and friendly. We got a voucher for a complementary drink on arrival and as our room was ready we were able to check in early. The rooms are basic but spot on and lovely and clean. We had an issue with the cold water this morning and as soon as we mentioned this to reception we had a sincere apology and were offered complimentary breakfast. If we return to Dublin will definitely book this hotel again. Thankyou.

Amazing location, such friendly staff… noise is to be expected but was pleasantly surprised we were not disturbed during our time here by the noise — other reviews made it sound so much worse! Shoutout to Tommy at the VAT bar with his whiskey and draft menu! Very impressed!

When they say loud, they really mean it. Even with windows shut, every footstep was able to be heard. Paper thin walls, paper thin. Knew it was going to be loud but the two nights we stayed there we were also woken up by the hotel alarm going off. We ended up moving hotels due to this and the fact that the bed was the worst bed ive ever slept on.

Location is great. Walking distance from all of the bars/restaurant/shops. No central air was a bummer. The window barely opened. Thankfully it was nice and cool outside.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Blooms Hotel this time round. Firstly, the room I stayed in was in need of being freshly painted. In the bathroom especially, where damp on the ceiling was very evidently present in all corners. Secondly, the windows were so dirty and patchy, inside and outside and could do with being washed. Finally, for paying such a price we should not have been put into a front room when such nosy construction was taking place. To put my comment into perspective, you should not be charging €125 (room only rate) for such poor conditions… baring in mind this establishment was charging only €49 (room only rate) a few short years ago when conditions and standards were much higher!

I booked five rooms back in January for my sisters hen party! After reading some of the reviews I was a little wary about staying however we had a blast this weekend! The hotel was very accommodating for such a large group. The hotel is located right in temple bar and was central to everything! We even got free drinks vouchers for the pub in the hotel when we arrived. We had a great weekend! Thank you for having us!

I didn't sleep very well in the bed! The room décor is a bit older! The variety of breakfasts also left something to be desired! For example, there was no fruit or tomatoes! Top is the central location with direct connection to the airport bus! In the pub, live music also quickly gets the mood!

Nice hotel but our room was over the top of their night club which kept us up all night. Great location otherwise, right in temple bar and easy to access shops and restaurants!

I’ve had the privilege of staying here twice now and I will continue to come back anytime I’m in Dublin. This is the perfect little gem in the heart of everything. With friendly staff, a charming feel, and a great pub downstairs. I highly recommend upgrading to a room with a balcony! Thank you Blooms Hotel for making our stays in Dublin even more memorable!

We enjoyed our stay here. We paid for the breakfast option and the food choices were great. Visiting from the USA, we wish would have known there was no A/C. We were warm at night. You can open the windows but it's very noisy at night. The room was clean and very spacious.

Have just left Blooms and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It only got two stars because of how central it is and the bar staff in the VAT bar are lovely. I emailed before hand explaining it was my partners belated birthday treat to tie in with Riverdance at the Gaiety and asked if there was any chance of an upgrade to a balcony room, emailed very quickly back saying they’d do their best and I understood that there were no guarantees. On our arrival we didn’t get a balcony room… which was no problem as there were no guarantees.
The room we were given had no air con & neither could we open a window. The room was overlooked with only one net curtain so curtains had to be closed for privacy. Bed was uncomfortable and moved everytime you sat on it. Walls are paper thin too! Shower is pitiful and neither shower curtain or bath were up to my standards of cleanliness so gave them a rinse before using.
After first night a lot of people checked out so we asked if a balcony room or any other room was available… was told no and accepted that on face value as no reason to disbelieve anyone. We had constant problems with neither door key working so one occasion my partner was at reception having the cards reactivated again I had to use the public toilets in the VAT bar.

Right in the heart of Temple Bar sits Blooms. Very reasonably priced. Cannot beat location. Room was clean. Service great. Breakfast in the am was good. Location. Location.

Location is great for temple bar area of Dublin and wasn't too loud at bedtime on a weeknight. Room was nice and clean and bathroom was a good size. Bed seemed uncomfortable at first but actually turned out to be rather nice. Service at the front desk was great and the attached bar is a nice perk!

Great place to stay in Dublin. Central location and all landmarks and famous pubs are in walking distance. Rooms are big and clean. The staff are very friendly.

Excellent location, nice hotel with lots of personality, the rooms comfortable and functional, good Wi-Fi. Right at the entrance there is a container that gives a bad image, removing it would be the perfect hotel. I was between a week in second floor and I had no problem whatsoever with the noise.

This is the actual bathroom. You can't even fit in the shower or close the door without stepping in the shower. Room is tiny you cannot walk on the side of the bed if your suitcase is there. Hairdryer did not work the fuse kept blowing. Bed is like sleeping on a pile of springs. However the location is great and close to everything.

It's ok we only had to stay 2 nights here but the website pics look a lot better than in person. The great thing is that s it's in the middle of everything and you have a 2 min walk to all the pubs and river and shopping. Great location. The pub downstairs" the vat house" is great! Bartenders are awesome and super helpful.

Stayed here last weekend for two nights. We had two rooms and because it was my birthday the lady on reception was sooooooo lovely and upgraded both rooms we were given drinks vouchers and as we arrived really early morning they said they would get our rooms ready asap. They called when our rooms were ready around midday! Vat bar is lovely! And the all you can eat breakfast was also delicious! Rooms aren't anything spectacular but they were clean and we had a huge room. It is one street away from temple bar Square and I cannot recommend the auld Dublin bar (I think that's how it's spelt) come out the hotel and turn left and walk down to the pub on the corner… Both nights we were there they had amazing singers on! Cannot wait to go back!

Blooms hotel was very convenient in location being right in the middle of Temple Bar. But at night time it was very noisy as the window didn't provide much soundproofing. But overall enjoyed our stay so no major complaints. If you're looking for a well priced hotel in a great location then this would be a perfect choice, just make sure you're part of the noise rather than listening to it.

The room was old but spacious and clean. Large bathroom with bath. I liked that the curtains blocked the light from outside well. Few faults such as bathroom lights flickered for over one minute each time I turned it on before it’s stayed on. No bar fridge and no laundry service at hotel. The first night there was another room who made a lot of noise all night and woke me up repeatedly — not sure why they didn’t go out with all the pubs and clubs? For the price it was good. Laundry would be an issue for a longer stay.

Lovely hotel had to pay a 50 deposit on arrival. Reception staff lovely barman on duty very very helpful courtesy room spotless bed extremely comfortable.

Central Place, daily cleaning with change of towels and adjoining pub which is accessed from the reception, very small room… Ultimately good if paired with a profitable offer.

Nice property in a very convenient location to visit Dublin. It was very close to the hotel.

For Irish conditions certainly fine.
The window cannot be closed completely and thanks to the lack of sealing, one wakes up at 7am by the noise of a construction site. Otherwise everything is fine. Two blankets and not one contiguous would certainly be still beautiful.

Good hotel. Excellent location. On arrival they gave us a few tickets to use in the pub below. Very good the pub with live music. Breakfast is good too. Irish.

This hotel is NOTORIOUS for being one of the worst places to stay. AVOID at all costs. I would never stay here again even if I got a week free in Dublin. This was my second time visiting Ireland in a few months, and I was shocked at the mannerisms of the staff. I have never had a negative experience in Ireland, and have always found the people to be good, honest, and kind. If I could give this hotel less than one star, I would. Not only did I have the WORST time booking the hotel (which was messed up when I arrived, and wasn't corrected until 2 o'clock in the morning where I stood in the lobby with 0 access to speak to someone with higher power than the night porter), the experience from beginning to end was a nightmare. The actual hotel is not nice at all, rooms are dark, outdated, and have paper thin walls. The lighting in the hallways is basically non-existent and it is definitely not worth the money — there are PLENTY of other hotels down by Temple Bar that are way better. We had issues with the staff, cleanliness, and getting ripped off essentially at every turn. First off the staff is awful — I understand it was a holiday weekend, but I have never been treated so poorly in a hospitality setting. The receptionist who was working Friday evening on March 16th around 8:00pm was by far the rudest person I have ever met.

Wonderful hotel. Clean and very comfortable. The hotel bar has amazing food and especially chowder.

Good standard hotel. 5 minute walk to The Temple bar pub and right in the heart of the bars and shops. Wasn't too loud on a night either so we were able to sleep. Would recommend.

Blooms Hotel is in the heart of Dublin. The room was big and comfortable and the rate was very reasonable. Discount car parking is very close by. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Ireland.

For the environment a good hotel, man should not expect too much. The best part is the pub in the ground floor. You are always supplied with beer and food:)

Fixed stop when we stop to sleep in Dublin, well located for many places to visit.

Perfectly situated in the middle of Temple bar, Blooms Hotel offered the convenience of close entertainment while still being relatively peaceful. It wasn't dead quiet but that was to be expected. Rooms were generous in size, and for the most part well kept. Staff were all incredibly friendly and the offer of a free drink on arrival was greatly appreciated. The €50 deposit required upon arrival was unexpected though.

A very well located hotel if you like noise and fun. It's close to everything. The rooms are comfortable. But the best thing about it is the excellent Pub that they have downstairs and is part of the hotel. Every night you can enjoy a very cold and tasty pint while listening to Irish music with a live show of tap and violin is amazing what it feels like to be there with all that atmosphere. The price for all that is Dublin is accessible compared to other hotels and location. Recommended for a weekend.

Very beatiful, they gift you a glass of craft beer at the bar next to the hotel. Tiny rooms, but very comfortable. Nice views. Located at the center of Temple Bar.

Lovely quirky hotel right in the heart of Temple Bar. Rooms well appointed. Staff polite and efficient. Bar adjacent. Good location near College Green and Trinity College. On major bus routes. Recommended.

Very close to the Templebar. Friendly Persinal, nice restaurant/pub. The room was simple but good for our short trip.

Nice hotel, great location in the city centre, but you can't get any sleep due to the club on the side of the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for families. Brilliant if you want to visit Dublin and party hard.

Ariel of Concierge a phenomenon.

Beds are old and mattresses are sunken from long use. Bathrooms and room are clean. Can hear the noise from the street easily. Elevator makes taking bags up easy. You get a free drink in the bar on check in. Wi-Fi is only good in lobby and bar, it is extremely shoddy in your room.

This was an average hotel, and way over priced only because of the location. It was clean but nothing fancy. The TV did not work and when I told the front desk she said someone would be up to fix it and no one came. Also the guy working the nightshift became extremely rude with me about having a person come to my room. He did not try to have a normal conversation, instead started raising his voice and shouting we are not aloud to have guests. After I explained the person was not staying and only there while I grabbed my jacket. He became angry and told me it was agains policy. I've never seen such a thing. After I grabbed what I needed I went back outside and when I tried to re enter the door was locked and I had to ring the bell for 10 minutes until he let me in. I would never stay here again.

The location of this Hotel is great. The room was also very nice and the shower was the best I've had in Ireland. However, It is extremely noisy with people walking, driving, and doing business nearby.

Very well located, 20 meters from Temple Bar. The rooms are full service, clean and bright. In the hotel restaurant and bar is eat very rich, I recommend the selection of cheeses in the house… Superb!

Insanely noisy. There is no soundproofing from the night club downstairs. Full of drunk clubbers. Had a woman bang on our door and then force her way into our room to use the toilet. She could easily have walked in from the streets to the corridor without a key card. Staff are very friendly and helpful but nice after the fact is not much use. Breakfast was under heat lamps so was tough and stale.

Do not stay here if you actually want to SLEEP! The sound insulation on the window is so poor that it might as well be wide open. This means you hear not only every rowdy group that passes by, but even people speaking at normal levels or coughing, every cart and car that passes, every trash truck which seem to visit all through the night, and the absolute worst was the screeching birds at 5:00 am. We were even given a "quiet room" on the top floor. I can not imagine how bad it would have been if we had stayed on a night the nightclub downstairs was open!

Rooms were clean and presentable. Bathroom was clean too. Great location. Cheap price. Just a good hotel and done the job.

If you plan to "sleep" at this hotel, don't! Some genius thought it would be a good idea to put a nightclub in the same building. It is open until 3am. No fans or air circulation in the room. Can get warm and stuffy leaving the only option to open the window to the noise from outside.

Staff helpful but unfriendly Room wasn't very well cleaned. We found some hair in the bathroom which weren't from us and some old dried bloodstains on the sheets. A couple of times some gray water came back the drain in the bathtub. And it doesn't really matter if the windows are closed or open, the noise is the same. But overall the Hotel is recommendable for everybody who is looking for an average hotel in a very good location.

Modern clean and Central.

In the center of the busy Temple Bar area of Dublin. Pubs, music, food, shops! Be prepared for noisy evenings! (Being earplugs! ) Bar/restaurant has good food and entertainment. Walking distance from Trinity College and other sites.

Rooms may seem a bit dirty, though they're just old. Right next to a nightclub (to which you get free entry) so expect loud music. On arrival got a rather useless drink voucher (cannot be used after 6pm).

Decent hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious for a downtown hotel and the location was excellent for accessibility. The front desk staff were not spectacular, and if you care about noise late at night, consider a different location. Overall, a decent stay.

Fantastic location with great breakfast. We paid €99 for a double room mid week in March with breakfast included.
It's slap bang in the middle of Temple Bar so all the nightlife is right on your doorstep. So if you're wanting a place to lay your head after a heavy session you couldn't go far wrong.
If I wanted to be picky… the room was really cold as the window was only single glazed so it was really drafty and adding to that the quilt on the bed was paper thin so no chance of a good night's sleep.
We were surprised by the €50 security deposit too. We've never been asked to pay that anywhere else in Dublin before.
All said I would recommend the Blooms for its location and I would stay there again.

If I happen to return to those parts I will definitely go back to that hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of Temple Bar, in the centre of Dublin. In a 100m radius you can find Subway, Tesco and Starbucks, but especially some of Dublin's most renowned pubs. The Blooms Hotel is located in the same building as the Vat House Pub, where traditional live music is often present.

The rooms are very clean and not too big. Dated building made unmistakable by the mural with which it is painted outside.

Very good hotel to stay! Spotless and location is brilliant if you want to be near temple bar etc … Staff very kind also and very comfortable. Only thing is you can hear night club but didn't bother me too much. Defos coming back to this hotel next time I'm back at Dublin! :)

Great location. Rooms are clean, tidy and exactly what you need. Absolutely loved the bar below, lovely environment and music. Thank you for the free drink voucher. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff — always received a hello or good morning, very welcoming. Breakfast was good but a bit more involvement/service from the staff would have been helpful as we felt slightly lost and confused. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and have already done so.

Great hotel, with friendly and efficient staff, stayed here for my birthday and found the rates to be extremely good value. The rooms were clean and restocked with biscuits every morning! (nice touch guys). Also the extra deep bath is a must for a relaxing bubblebath (and lush is just around the corner). Will definitely choose this hotel next time we come to Dublin!

The hotel was great. Staff were helpful and available. The only thing was that there was no Wi-Fi available in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby and the restaurant/bar. That aspect was rather inconvenient as there was nowhere quiet to communicate with anyone. Other than that it was a fantastic experience. Great food, great bar, great stay.

Were 2 nights from Friday to Sunday. The front Desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very Central, just when the many Pub's want to visit… The rooms were clean, and as expected. The Wi-Fi in the Hotel is useless, the signal quality was actually bad everywhere… Both nights we heard a fire alarm, which is a tore up from sleep. The adjoining Disco (Club-M) was in our room the whole night audible (first floor). For 2-3 days with colleagues is the price-performance ratio ok, for the romantic vacation with the woman I would another Hotel recommend…
