Ashling House Serviced Accommodation Guesthouse

Room was clean. Very noisy as it is on a very busy road. Didn't feel welcome as nobody there on arrival arrival. We were greeted by a sign on the door asking us to press a button for entry code. A voice at the other end obliged and directed us to our room. That was the only contact with the landlord. When we left next morning we still hadn't seen another being! No breakfast provided despite this being advertised as a b and b. Not even directions to where we could eat. Definitely would avoid this one. Whatever happened to Irish hospitality?

Wi-Fi is not working, no service is available. Towels were not exchanged, despite the possibility.

Room is simple and somewhat cramped, the room key has a standard from 1620, so could come from a knight's castle. For this purpose, the front door can be opened by code: 0815! (No, that's not really the code)
Dublin is expensive, this accommodation is no exception, but here only the bus stop in front of the busy front door fits.

We had a great time! The room was very clean The bathroom has a nice big shower. The owners are helpful and kind. The area is very nice, a few meters from the hotel there is the bus stop where 4 5 buses go to the city center and at 400m there are restaurants and a nice supermarket. Good prices to be Dublin. Recommended!

Definitely too expensive. No breakfast included. Room cold Clean but basic. Small TV on wall with only few channels and they were duplicated. Only positive was the fact that it was quiet.

False advertising booked in for a week for work under impression it was bnb as it states it is its not and I had the worst room 12 and to top it all off dirty writen in to the light shades… niceee.

Very nice room.

Super bus connection — we were in the spring, and because we wait completely soaked, we asked to stop the heating. This was immediately done for about three hours. Otherwise, after the hassle-free check-in, we no longer saw any overwashing: NO FRÜHSTÜCK, only two parking spaces.

It was fine. No breakfast though. Small tv.

Nice convenient place. In a serene environment. Very close to the bus stop and links most bus routes making commuting less cumbersome.

Stayed in two rooms "Guest House". The beds are comfortable, the linens are quality and clean. The rooms are equipped with a hair dryer, kettle, soap and towels. But in one room there were no bath towels, and in the second the battery did not work, and to ask no one, as the staff (the only employee, and with bad English) goes in the evening. Departure early-in 11:00, no breakfast. The location is close to the bus stop, but far enough away from the tourist spots. Overpriced.

Arrived to be told no breakfasts available — tried to say his payment hadn't been received which was either a lie or as he said *a misunderstanding* on his email — room was adequate and roomy, loose wonky shelf in bathroom — good sized hot shower — sheets changed daily — Overall 3 stars — Be aware that Dublin in very expensive paying £12-14 for a glass of wine and a brandy with coke! The people are lovely and kin natured.

When I arrived the lady could hardly speak English and told me in broken English that the room I had would only be available for one night and then I had to be moved to another room. Just as well I knew Dublin, because the lady with the broken English would not have been able to recommend anywhere in Dublin to see, because her English was so bad. Terrible place. An absolute rip off. I was charged £110 pounds per night for a room where the toilet was beside the bed. It was like a prison cell, it was so small. You didn't even get breakfast with that, its not a B and B, its just a B. Not even something of a discount for the mess up with the room. Avoid at all costs.

Two stars because it is conveniently located to a direct bus service to the city centre.

Rooms clean, staff veryyy friendly (but they never seem to be around), you have a kettle in the room which is awesome. I had room 6 and I can confirm that it was a good room. There's a room in the hotel where the toilet is in the same room as the bed (things you find out if you read every review on TripAdvisor) but room 6 was not it. Towels were provided, soap was provided, but no little shampoos or anything. When you arrive there's a little piece of chocolate on the bed which is super nice.

It's just Bed and no Breakfast. The rooms would not be bad either but the formula is not correct.

Good location, average price for what you get.

I had a wonderful expierience at this beuatiful b and b in the heart of dublin the staff were very friendly it really felt like home from home highly recomended paddy.

Very welcome, very nice room and not very far from the city centre (30-40 minutes walk)
