Only spent 12 hours there so I can't speak of the breakfast, but the room was not worth the price we paid. The water pressure didn't exist, literally, there was nothing but a trickle of water coming from the shower head. The light in the bathroom didn't work. The window was broken off the hindge. The remote for the TV was missing and when we pulled the drawer open to look inside, the handle and cover came out, but the drawer it'self stayed inside. The room was just falling apart.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a driving holiday of Ireland. It served its purpose as a base for Galway very well — we were only a 10-15 minute walk from Eyre Square and all the pubs and restaurants we wanted. We didn't see much of the hosts during our stay but when we did they were nice and helpful in recommending the best places to eat and to party. The room was clean and shower hot, the only annoyance being a constantly dripping tap. I have a real hatred of press-top taps anyway but the sound of one dripping was driving me crazy. It's a small issue though in an otherwise nice room. Can't comment on the food as we did not want to pay 8euros extra for what seemed like a continental breakfast, especially when there are so many options literally down the road in Galway.

It feels like home. :-) Nearby the centre about 10 mins walk. Tasty continental breakfast. Super duper friendly family. Bathroom was a little bit too small and tiny basin. Attractive price-performance. We will come back as soon as possible. Romina and Anna, two lovely Austrian girls, cheers.

I was literally on there long enough to sleep, so I can't say much about this place. The bed was quite comfortable and the man who got me all set up was very friendly. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the tourist office, train station, and center of town.

Good location and owner is very kind. Rooms are nice too.

Furniture in room was very old, not very clean, and overpriced. Ground floor had an overpowering smell of grease from kitchen. Double charged on credit card, which was not resolved willing despite many followups. Best to avoid this place.

Clean rooms and okay beds. The 5 star rating is for the family running the place. The father was super friendly amd the mother (even with a broken leg) went out of her way to serve us. They daughters even helped serve breakfast in the morning! Well done! And only 5 minute walk from the town.

Cute little B&B. Family owned, incredibly nice. A little loud in the morning, but would stay again!

Stayed here by complete chance. We pulled up to park and Adrian, the owner, happened to be outside. He greeted us and asked where we were visiting from. We ended up staying and it was perfect. Trish, Adrian's wife, made us a superb breakfast. She made what we southerners call "Biscuits". Excellent!

Tiny rooms with the double bed so saggy into the middle. Clean enough and owners helpful. Breakfast was extra for us and we went out for day trips. Didnt feel it was worth the amount they were asking.

Located at 5min walk from Eyre Sq. Bed was uncomfortable — two soft mattresses stacked on top of each other for some reason. For the price, the amenities didn't seem worth it. No attention to detail — no notepad/pen in the room or any shelf space in the bathroom.

Came again with my family they never stop surprising… Newly decorated… New cctv cameras for peace of mind… And many more… It's kinda getting our second home…

The atmosphere was not great. The room had paint falling off. It was completely plain. The key kept getting stuck in the door and the bathroom had to be shared. There was no curtains in the bathroom and the shower was extremely old. It wasn't a nice experience and felt like we were taken advantage of as we were two young girls. I had chosen the b&b again as I had been there before but the second experience was pretty awful as my friend had complained how she was disappointed. They had promised a good room because we cancelled due to price but definitely regret agreeing.

A few of us stayed at Lynfield Bed and Breakfast for a recent stag party visit to Galway city. The B&B was top notch, located at College Road just two minutes from Eyre Square and walking distance from the train station. The owner was very helpful in pointing out the hot spots in the city. We really enjoyed the two days there and plan to go back for a more relaxed week-end in the near future.
